Entry / Foyer & Main Staircase Flourishing, rooted, serene, authentic, luxurious, elevated, alive, distinctive, and allegiant are the imageries that led me to the concept of “Natural Class.� The antique circular table with its decorative meanders pays homage to the home’s Federal style. The custom console table with its curvilinear back was based on the open string on the staircase designed by the original architect. The mural, codesigned with a local artist, captures the beautiful chaos that makes the Pasadena Showcase House of Design possible each year. Everything in this space has a story full of passion and purpose, and as such, I hope to invoke in the visitor a feeling of loving energy married with beauty.
