Spring Clean-Up Report

Another annual spring clean-up day took place on Saturday, April 22, with the help of several members that came ready to work with gloves and rakes in hand.

As clean-up day indicates, volunteer members picked up trash and debris that had accumulated over the winter months.

The main emphasis was centered around the club house, and at the beach. Trash was picked up, leaves raked, walnuts removed and downed tree branches hauled off, as well as flower beds cleaned and re-mulched. This was all accomplished in under two hours with the outstanding help from our membership.

Food Trucks

Food trucks are once again returning to the beach. We are happy to have various food trucks coming to our beach to serve up delicious food for our members. We are trying to schedule one truck per week. Most will be on Wednesday evenings from 5-8 p.m. but not exclusively. A reminder email with menu will be sent out the morning of.

Please walk, drive, bike or boat over to the beach and enjoy a delicious dinner with old friends or new, or take it to go. More trucks will be added as the summer progresses.

As people arrived, they were either asked to help in specific areas or they just jumped in and started helping where it appeared help was needed; thus, it is hard to know everyone who volunteered and helped. We did have more members volunteer than in most years past.

Thank you to all those that participated and helped in making your clubhouse and area shine.

Lake manager Jeff Handley did another great job in setting this up and overseeing it.

Thanks again to all those who helped!
