Sailing Club

Have you ever wanted to try sailing? This is your opportunity. Sherwood Lake Club members and family between ages 14 and 80+ are welcome. The Sherwood Sailing Club is offering sailing lessons this June. We plan to teach the basics of sailing working to a goal of being able to sail solo in light or moderate wind.

This is a four-week class and will meet at 6 p.m. at Sherwood beach. The lessons are on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting June 6 and 8. Participants can attend Tuesdays, Thursdays or both. You may want to check the wind and weather forecast each week to decide which day to attend.

Wear shoes that are not too slick and clothes that can get wet. You will get wet. Bring a comfortable life jacket if you have one.
