Delbert Day Cancer Institute To serve as the philanthropic organization that facilitates charitable donations to support and assist the mission of PCRMC in providing for the healthcare needs of the communities it serves.
PCRMC’s vision for cancer care is patient centered. Throughout the process – from screening to diagnosis to treatment and then survivorship – the goal of the “cancer care team” is to be with the patient every step of the way with the latest possible techniques. The institute will provide a seamless transition between services, whether it is radiation, surgery, or oncology for our patients. Ted Day and his father, Delbert Day
Some recent accomplishments include: Be the best hospital foundation dedicated to sustaining and advancing PCRMC in providing world class healthcare for the continued benefit of our service community.

A Genetics Counselor has been added to our team as a benefit to our patients and staff.
▪
The cancer research program currently has 9 patients enrolled in the study by Cancer Research of the Ozarks, and we are the largest participant.
▪
PCRMC received a new Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation from the American College of Surgeons. This followed an on-site evaluation during which the facility showed a commendation level of compliance that represents the full scope of the cancer program.

Fund Highlight Thanks to the combined efforts of Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation and the Heart-2-Heart Committee, $33,600 was contributed and 17 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) will be donated to five area school districts. Those districts are Rolla Public Schools, Maries R-1, Crawford County R-II, Gasconade R-II, and Steelville R-III. Six people in each of the districts will also receive CPR training.

NEW Clinic in Waynesville Coming Soon Late in 2014, a new 53,000 square foot clinic will open in Waynesville, Missouri. The building will be located just off Interstate 44 and will be very visible to the public . There will be a wide range of services offered at the clinic from sleep studies, pharmacy, laboratory and radiology and a wide range of Physicians.
