The decision was issued by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee President. Mr. Al Khayat noted that the efforts of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa played a central role and served as a backbone in establishing this sport and growing it in the Kingdom of Bahrain especially through the goals HH set to promote the culture of this sport in the country and aid those who practice it in line with the IMMAF’s

Our plans will be based on and around the strategy set by HH, which has evolved this sport in a very short time via KHK MMA. Our aim is to maintain the efforts that so far have baan able to accomplish honorable achievements in this particular sport,” he said before conveying to the board members his best wishes and luck for their future endeavours in their mission to develop this sport.

Three Bahrain Polytechnic graduates made a research presentation on physical fitness tests at their meeting with the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) representatives. Faten Qamber, Sara Yousef and Zahra Sarhan met BOC Projects director Lounes Madene, legal advisor Salah Khedr and Information Technology director Nawaf Abdulrahman, in the presence of Faculty members of the Bahrain Polytechnic University.

During the presentation, both parties had discussions and analysis of the physical fitness tests conducted on a select number of Abdulrahman Kanoo International School students as a model of the research. BAHRAIN GOES

TO THE RIO

OLYMPICS! As the road to the Olympics gets even shorter, PowerUp sat with Bahrain Olympic Committee Secretary-General to get the inside scoop on the Bahrain team’s preparations for the Rio Olympics.

HOW IS THE BOC PREPARING THE NATIONAL TEAM FOR THE RIO OLYMPICS?

Our preparations are going well and in accordance to the planned program. We have recently completed the registration and logistics process, as well as selected hotels for our delegation.

HOW MANY TEAMS/ INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES WILL PARTICIPATE AND IN WHICH TYPES OF SPORTS?

We will take part in athletics, wrestling, swimming and shooting with a total of 42 athletes, including 38 in athletics. This can be increased as the qualifying deadline is in July.

14 | PowerUp | July 2016

THE NUMBER OF ATHLETES GOING TO THIS YEAR’S RIO OLYMPICS IS MORE THAN DOUBLE THE 2012 DELEGATION. WHY DO YOU THINK THIS IS SO?

Bahrain has achieved noticeable development in athletics in recent years, resulting in the emergence of several new talents who succeeded in marking the required qualifying times at international athletics meetings held abroad and therefore are eligible to compete at the Rio Olympics.

WHAT KIND OF PERFORMANCE DO YOU EXPECT FROM

OUR ATHLETES AND ESPECIALLY OUR ATHLETIC TEAM IN RIO? We look forward to competing for first positions in athletics and our goal is to achieve more than one medal. We are also very confident about achieving an Olympic medal in wrestling

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THERE WILL BE ANOTHER MARIAM YUSUF JAMAL IN THIS YEAR’S DELEGATION?

Yes, we expect the emergence of a Bahraini star or even more than one in this edition of the Olympics.

HOW DID THE COMMITTEE CHOOSE THE WILDCARD

ATHLETES?

Wild Card selection is usually made by the sports federations in accordance to the invitations sent by the international federations. This time the invitations included two for the swimming and one each for the shooting and wrestling federations.

WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE TO THE ATHLETES WHO WILL FLY TO RIO?

Our advice for them is to have a sporting spirit and be true sports ambassadors for Bahrain in this major international sports gathering. We also urge them to have great confidence in themselves so that they can put on their best performance and compete with the world’s best athletes.

ALICE

MILLIAT AND THE WOMEN’S OLYMPIC GAMES

Alice Milliat’s contribution to women sports cannot be gainsaid. Read on to find how this spectacular woman fought to put women in the Olympics.

a love for rowing. In 1922, she became the President of the Federation Sportive Feminine International (FSFI). Milliat believed that sports developed personalities and gave young women confidence. Her own confidence and leadership led to a 15-year international campaign for the development of women’s sport. In 1919, Milliat’s first big move was to request that the IOC include women in the track and field programme. She recounts; “I came up against a solid wall of refusal, which led directly to the creation of the Women’s Olympic Games.” It was a time of cultural upheaval between two world wars when the feminist movement was making a splash. In this milieu, Milliat

and her contemporaries created an international federation which gave birth to the first “Women’s Games” in 1921. In 1922, 38 countries from 5 continents were affiliated with FSFI and the decision was made to hold the “Women’s Olympic Games” quadrennially. Between 1922 and 1934 the FSFI organized four Women’s Olympics showcasing hundreds of athletes to thousands of spectators. In the Paris Games in 1924, 15,000 people came to watch. One Paris newspaper even compared Milliat’s success to Coubertin’s. Milliat and her peers did more to promote women’s sport than either the IOC or the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) in the 1920’s and 1930’s.

As the FSFI gained power and influence, the IOC’s Olympic Games continued to offer only a handful of events for women. The IOC exchanged eleven letters with Milliat between November 1926 and April 1927. The FSFI president wanted full participation of women in Olympic Track and Field events, and total recognition of the FSFI, on the same level as the men’s federations. Further, she demanded that FSFI members serve on the National Olympic Committees (NOCs). Milliat’s vision was more-or-less one of full inclusion of women in the Olympic movement from participation to leadership.

@powerupmag

Wilma Rudolph

The IOC’s fourth president, Henri de Baillet-Latour was no more open minded about women’s sport than Coubertin had been and refused to recognize more than one federation per sport - i.e. the men’s federations. This eventually strangled out any power the FSFI had gained during the 1920’s and the men’s federations maintained control and power. Many people did not agree with Milliat’s “all or nothing” approach to women’s inclusion in the Games, and one by one the men’s federations swallowed up the women’s. In 1926, the IOC compelled the FSFI to stop using the

word “Olympic” for their games. The final death knell was sounded when the French government reduced their funding starting in 1928, removing all funding by 1936. Alice Milliat’s activism was directly responsible for the development of women’s basketball, football and athletics in France as well as the international institutionalization of women’s sport. Some historians have noted the increase in women’s participation in the Games in Amsterdam in 1928, a reflection of Milliat’s work. Notably, it took the IOC over seventy years to begin to share the vision of the feisty Frenchwoman. In 1995,

1984 the first ‘women and sport’ working group was created among IOC members. In 2012, women made up 44% of participants and 46% of events included women. While it is predicted that Rio will be the first Olympic Games to have gender parity in participation numbers, we still have a long way to go in terms of sport leadership. It is striking that almost 100 years ago a young visionary called Alice Milliat saw the writing on the wall for women’s sport. Did she know it would take 100 years to begin to see her vision come to life? And above all, who is the Alice Milliat of our times and are we listening?

That said, no elite athlete has ever burst into the world stage and immediately won multiple medals. It always takes years and years of hard work to convert someone with raw talent into a world class athlete. BAHRAIN FOOTBALL’S

SHAIKHA HUSSA BINT KHALID AL KHALIFA Board member of the Bahrain Football Association

FIRST LADY

Shaikha Hussa had to overcome a lot of obstacles in order to establish a national women’s football team. But, she has even gone farther than that to stand as the first Arab woman board member in the Union of Arab Football Associations. Find out more about her inspiring story below.

WHAT OBJECTIONS DID YOU HAVE TO OVERCOME IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH A WOMEN’S NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM IN BAHRAIN?

1

Women football did not exist under the umbrella of the Bahrain Football Association until 2002. The private schools had a league and it was upon almost graduating that I

26 | PowerUp | July 2016

realized there was no outlet for women to play football post-high school. That is when I approached the sports authorities with the goal of establishing women football. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t very hard either. This is because of the sheer number of interested players we had. We still have problems with some parents not allowing their daughters to play but in terms of establishing the national team and now youth national teams, we have been successful. The main

obstacle is obtaining funding for the teams and programs as budget is limited and sponsors have been lacking.

WHAT WAS THE INITIAL REACTION OF THE BAHRAINI COMMUNITY TO AN ALL-WOMEN’S FOOTBALL TEAM?

2

There were mixed reactions as with anything new. Some people were welcoming, some were encouraging and others were defeating and

negative. Again, we were helped by having a large base of girls who love the sport and their passion for the sport was relentless in the face of obstacles.

PLEASE TELL US ABOUT THE YOUTH PROGRAM OF THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM.

3

Today Bahrain has a youth national team in the under-16 and under-14 categories. The under-16 girls national

team made history in 2013 by qualifying to the Asian Cup finals in China, and the under-14 girls teams competes yearly in the Asian Football Confederation’s regional championships. The under-14 team has achieved bronze in this championship in 2013 and more recently, have been silver medalists in 2016.

YOU HAVE GRADUATED WITH HONORS IN ALL OF YOUR ACADEMIC ENDEAVORS; DO YOU EXPECT THE SAME TYPE OF ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE FROM YOUR FOOTBALL PLAYERS?

4

Football is a hobby and passion but it is by no means a career and we always tell our players that education comes first. Parents are more encouraging of their daughters joining our team if they see that there is time for them to focus on and prioritize their academic work as well. Some people think that being involved in a team or football hinders academic ability but I beg to differ; football has taught me time-management skills, broadened my horizons and fostered my team building @powerupmag

and leadership qualities which have helped me during my academic studies.

CAN YOU SAY 5 THAT SPORTS HELPS STUDENTS TO PERFORM BETTER IN SCHOOL?

Definitely. By learning how to manage time, working in a group, being a leader and networking with different people as well as experiencing all the ups and downs of being on a team and playing for a common goal, students are more capable and more prepared for real work and get a more complete realworld experience than simply studying from books.

CAN YOU SHARE WITH US THE STRATEGIC PLANS FOR WOMEN’S FOOTBALL IN THE NEAR FUTURE?

6

We hope to further develop the women’s league and perhaps a youth league in the near future. We also provide courses for those wishing to become women coaches and referees. We aim to provide a sustainable environment for future generations who want to play the sport and not go through the obstacles we went through just to be

able to play the sport in a recognized environment.

AS A BOARD MEMBER OF THE BAHRAIN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE, YOU ALSO OVERSEE THE DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN SPORTS, WHAT EXCITING THINGS CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO IN THE NEAR FUTURE?

7

I am a member of the women’s committee at the Bahrain Olympic Committee. We look forward to dedicating spaces and facilities for women to play sports freely and at anytime they wish.

YOU ARE THE FIRST WOMAN ON BOARD THE UNION OF ARAB FOOTBALL ASSOCIATIONS, WAS IT INTIMIDATING ON YOUR PART?

8

No, I felt like I was ready for the task. I have been involved in the management of women’s football for 15 years now and I have a very good understanding of the women football environment in different countries around

SPORTS & FITNESS

the world. Each country has developed differently and faces different obstacles and have different levels of play but whether women football is well established in a country or not, the main struggles from the USA (number 1 ranked team in the world) to the last ranked teams in the world; the issues are the same: budget and recognition. The sport is not marketed very well and a lack of funding leads to decreased speeds of development.

WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE TO YOUNG WOMEN FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND ASPIRANTS?

9

It’s a beautiful game and there are so many girls and women around the world who love to play. In Bahrain we have the national team for those who would want to represent their country in championships and matches around the world and those who would like to try out are welcome to approach the Bahrain Football Association. Those who want to play more recreationally can join any of the 8 teams in the league. The league is held every Wednesday from October to March at 7.30pm at the Bahrain Football Association grounds. Bahrain has a knack for football, and is consistently improving in its goals and players to score the perfect game.

After the successful culmination of the Nasser9 Ramadan Football Championship, PowerUp had the opportunity to sit down with the SecretaryGeneral of the Bahrain Football Association Mr. Hassan Ismaeel Mohamed, to talk about the history, projects and the upcoming international AFC U-19 Championship that Bahrain will be hosting for the first time.

FOOTBALL IN BAHRAIN According to Mr. Mohamed, football is considered as the most popular and most played sport in Bahrain. It is governed by the Bahrain Football Association which was established in 1957. The organization consists of the President, H.E. Sh. Ali Bin Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Khalifa; the Vice President, the

This is what they call the grassroots tournament where future players for the Bahrain National Team are being developed and selected. The BFA also runs the women’s league under Shaikha Hussa K. accomplishment for the BFA, as not all countries are able to do this. FIFA also supports Bahrain with training courses, 10 – 15 courses are sent every year with all the materials, instructions and accommodation expenses covered by them. Mr. Hassan divulged that FIFA will support 211 member federations and provide USD 5 million in four years for each federation. The allocation will be given within the span of four years. Each member has to meet FIFA’s requirements in order to utilize the budget. Mr. Hasan is very confident that the BFA would be able to meet all those requirements. In addition to all those accomplishments, Mr. Hassan is proud to say that Bahrain is the 2nd top country in the world with regards to TMS or Transfer Players System. Bahrain processes requests after only a three day period to transfer professional players internationally. The TMS enables

the request and delivery of international transfer certificates (ITC) which authorizes players to participate in official matches for their new club. All these projects show that football is a continuously growing sport in Bahrain with a lot of facilities where players can develop their skills. FIFA and the BFA, supported by the Government will continue to work hand in hand to promote the sport in the country. Look for football news in PowerUp monthly!

BAHRAIN CYCLING COMMUNITY The Bahrain Cycling Community has evolved from a few riders who used to cycle for fun in Budaiya to a community that keeps young people active and community-oriented.

T

he Bahrain Cycling team was founded on 10 April 2015 by an active cyclist named Fadhel Aladraj as a hobby. Later on, he realized that it could be a great way to achieve a healthy body not only for himself, but for others who also love biking. The cycling group spontaneously grew reaching more than 100 biker participants to date. The bikers rolled down and gathered themselves every Friday from Bani Jamra going all the way to Manama Souq, then later on to other areas of Bahrain. They aim to raise an awareness and enthusiasm for cycle sports amongst Bahrain’s young people, which is catching on

with their Instagram account having 3,000 followers (and counting!). One of their main challenges is funding the weekly road tours that they make. The group has since developed organizational cadres to prepare actively for each weekly tour. Approximately 100 participants around Bahrain from 12 to 56 years old, of various denominations and nationalities, join in on these weekly cycle tours. The group has been supported by the Bahrain Cycling Federation, and Mr. Robert Hughes, owner of Skateshack Bahrain, Trek bicycle distributor and official sponsor of this group. As a mentor and sponsor

for the group, Skateshack encourages cyclists to continue the cycling habit and serve the community by influencing others. The group aims to make people realize the importance of cycling to health and its significance to each individual who participates in this activity. They also stress the importance of a natural sports routine that reduces the risk of obesity, heart diseases, and the objectives of combining entertainment and sports culture.

On a coaching camp at Gravity Indoor Skydiving facility, we caught up with trainer Honza Turek to ask him some questions about skydiving.

SKYDIVING

SPORTS & FITNESS

“ Gravity is one of the nicest facilities in the world not just for fliers but also for customers and spectators. It’s built like a theatre which is a perfect setup for a competition dive. “ Honza flying with Zoe Edwards at Gravity Indoor Skydiving

WHAT GOT YOU STARTED IN SKYDIVING? I started working as a tunnel instructor 5 years ago, I met a lot of friends and skydivers in the tunnel and I learned about skydiving outside. I took a course in Accelerated Free Fall training for a year and three years after, I’m a certified skydiver!

HOW DIFFERENT IS THE EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU’RE A TEACHER AS WHEN YOU’RE THE ONE FLYING? When you’re teaching, you have to take responsibility for your students because they trust you; make sure everything is safe and teach them the proper way of doing things. You need to feel what your student feels. If you’re just flying, you can be creative. I like both, I like being a student too, learning how to get better. I study at the faculty of Physical Education and Sports in Prague, Chanels University,

YOU’VE TRAVELED THE WORLD TEACHING SKYDIVING, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE LOCATIONS TO FLY? I like flying in Prague, Czech Republic because it’s a super

@powerupmag

beautiful city and it’s where I live. It’s also pretty cool here in Bahrain. I actually can’t say that I have a favorite venue. I like all the tunnels because each tunnel has different stuff. The air is nice, or the city is beautiful, or the facility is great. I would love to travel and see all the tunnels in the world.

INSPIRATIONS?

SKYDIVERS?

Ty Baird was my really good friend, I brought him into the tunnel. He started with me in Prague. Then he went about his own career. He was a really good flyer and a good person.

YOU SAID THAT TEACHING OTHERS HOW TO FLY IS YOUR LIFE. WHY DID YOU MAKE THIS YOUR MISSION?

I don’t think too much. We have a plan for the jump. And I just try to have a clear head. I only hope that my canopy opens.

It’s a specific sport, adrenaline-filled, and quite challenging. You have to be 100% sure that this is what you want to do. Also, you want to try and go to the tunnels before heading to the sky. If you already have some experience in the tunnel, you don’t need to jump tandem. Have fun, that’s what skydiving is all about! Honza is a chief instructor in Hurricane Factory in Prague.

I’ve been doing sports all my life. I studied in a sports school then a sports university. When I wanted to pursue a job, I knew I wanted to do something that is connected to sports. Then I had a chance to be a tunnel instructor, and for me this was something cool and new so I jumped into it.

WHAT’S THE CRAZIEST JUMP YOU’VE EVER DONE? In Dubai, when we jumped with six people and we did crazy formations with really fast flying. It was also awesome when I jumped with Ty, we did cool jumps when we were together.

WHO ARE YOUR SKYDIVE

WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT, EVERY TIME YOU JUMP?

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FORWARD TO IN SKYDIVING?

For more information: Gravity Indoor Skydiving Tel: +973 1310 0000 www.gravitybah.com

What I would like to do is to take the principles of dynamic flying that we learn in the tunnel to the sky. And then, I would like to get all my friends to try it with me.

HOW WOULD YOU RATE OUR INDOOR SKYDIVING FACILITY IN BAHRAIN? In my opinion, it’s one of the nicest facilities in the world not just for fliers but also for customers and spectators. It’s built like a theatre which is a perfect setup for a competition dive.

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE TO BEGINNING

Ty Baird was considered one of the most dynamic and innovative fliers in the world. He died this year, but his memory lives on. We’re happy to have known you Ty!

He took on a new challenge which was marathon running. He was a strong runner who relished the road. This gave him the resolution to try out for the national team. But when he didn’t make the cut, he had to take a step back and re-evaluate things at home. Hussein Maki’s brother went to Muay Thai classes and persuaded him to join a class with him. This was a turning

“We are training hard, day and night. We’re mentally and physically preparing this year to show the world we are ready to step up from amateur level to pro, sport. I believe it’s my destiny. I expect to be a professional fighter soon, and I am going to prove it in Las Vegas.” Hussein has reached this point through his perseverance, and mental strength, having endured an uncertain childhood, filled with disappointment and despair. “Times were difficult during my early teens, when my family was really struggling to make ends meet. I played handball for seven years, from a very young age. I had hopes of being a handball hero, but I realized I wasn’t good enough and this was a disappointment.”

point, as Maki thrived in this sport, which was physically demanding, but highly rewarding. The relentless training and hours of drills, sparring, strength and conditioning, would all be worth it when he competed in the ring against another man, on one-on-one unarmed combat. “I won my first fight after six months of training and I realized then that I had something special, a gift, in this sport. I competed in a pro-Muay Thai fight in Thailand then I heard about an MMA tournament and thought I could go and win it with my Muay Thai skills.”

KHK-MMA

Like so many fighters who try MMA for the first time, who only have one skill set, Maki had a rude awakening at the Al Academiya Amateur MMA TV show. “I lost both my fights on the show! But this only served to motivate me more. I enjoyed the experience and really respected the Jiu-jitsu skills of the guys I fought with, so much so that I vowed to learn Jujitsu and become a wellrounded MMA fighter.” Fast forward ten years, and now he has reason to believe that his dream could become a reality. He fought and beat international opposition at last year’s European Open Championship. He surprised everyone by winning a bronze medal and made everyone take notice of Bahrain. Now he is part of a gym, which is flourishing under the patronage of KHK-MMA’s founder, HH Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Champions of the past, and champions of the future are training at the gym, which is ran by former fighter and current CEO, Mohammed Shahid. Maki can sometimes watch former UFC World Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar and the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov train and believes that this environment can only serve to foster success. “They are very inspiring people. We have everything we need here to achieve our goals, there are no excuses. Top class facilities, amazing coaches and a company who are treating us amateurs as if we’re the most important people in the world.” A Gold Medal hopeful, Hussein believes Bahrain is ready to shock the world at this year’s IMMAF Amateur World Championships. He is one of the chosen six to compete at the event and he is confident that anyone writing off Bahrain’s chances will be doing so at their own risk.

“We’re a small country but we will show that even a small dot on the map can produce world class athletes, and we will prove it this year at the worlds.” “We are training hard, day and night. We’re mentally and physically preparing this year to show the world we are ready to step up from amateur level to pro,” Maki said. KHK-MMA has an amateur and professional team, and the team philosophy is firmly rooted in developing fighters from the ground level up. This organization aims to give their budding fighters the best opportunity for success through providing world class coaching, facilities and education. Maki is just one of several Bahraini medal hopefuls at this year’s worlds, with two KHK fighters returning to Las Vegas after their disappointment last year: Abdulla Seena and Ali Ebrahimi. Maki believes that his teammates are returning with a real sense of purpose and belief this time around. “They have a great chance for a medal because of their extremely skilled jiu-jitsu abilities, which are miles ahead of anyone else in the team,” he said. “I’m also definitely a fan of my brother Hassan Ayyad; he is well versed in Muay-Thai and Jujitsu. Watch out for him!” According to Mohammed Shahid, Maki has been through the ups and downs of amateur MMA in a very short time. His presence at the IMMAF 2016 Championship along with the rest of the team marks the beginning of a new era for the Bahraini MMA scene. He said: “This championship will be a winwin situation for Bahrain. These athletes, no matter what happens will go home with their heads held high having done their country proud. The example they set,

TOTAL BODY WORKOUT

Alaa Al Shaikh and Noor Al Hulaibi have started a new fitness concept in Bahrain under the name of FLASH (Fit Ladies Always Stay Healthy).

T

he girls are certified as Master Trainers by the European Institute of Fitness in the U.K. Master Trainers are not just regular

fitness trainers. They are certified as motivational, nutrition and lifestyle coaches; working with two different fitness centers in Bahrain: LifeFit and Al

FITNESS TIPS STRETCHING Always start and end your workout with stretching. If you don’t stretch, you open yourself up to injuries which can really damage your muscles. Apart from your flexibility, it has great influence on how supple you are you able to move.

CONTROL YOUR MIND When exercising, you want to see results and progress; learn to control your mind. Your mind always fails first, not the body. The secret is to teach your mind to go further, with a “YES I CAN” attitude. Your body rarely gives up on you, it’s your mind that gives up first and takes over believing that your body can’t go further.

SHOCK YOUR BODY Doing the same exercise everyday will only make your muscles get used to it. Therefore you always need to shock your body by changing exercises or lifting heavier weights to increase your metabolism rate which results in burning more fat.

WEIGHT TRAINING Weight training will not make you bulky, bad nutrition will. Women do not have enough testosterone to build

38 | PowerUp | July 2016

muscles like men, lifting heavy weights will burn the fat on top of your muscles giving you that toned look you are looking for.

ABS Working on your abs everyday will not give you that flat stomach you have always dreamed of and it will only make achieving abs harder, as your abdominal muscles will get used to it. Abs exercises do not directly burn fat from your midsection, what they do is help build muscle mass which is important for improving your core strength, balance and posture. If you’re looking for a six pack or a flat tummy, the best bet is using aerobic exercises (cardio) to burn away the layer of fat hiding in your abdominals and watch your food intake.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT Real food needs proper cooking and proper preparation. If you don’t take care of your body, where are you going to live? Just because you are not sick does not mean you are healthy. You might be 20 years old but your organs can be 40 years old, so eat properly.

Nakheel Fitness. Aside from being experts in different exercises and certified to work with specific population such as older adults who have diabetes, obesity, arthritis, osteoporosis, pregnancy and postpregnancy and adolescents; they are also specialized in postural retraining and corrective exercise including functional training for sports rehabilitation and back care. Alaa Al Shaikh has had more than ten years experience in the fitness training industry. The FLASH ladies are not only fitness trainers but Master Trainers specified to work with all ladies’ needs from the inside out. Adding to that, Noor is a Physiotherapist with six years of experience. Flash targets all ladies in Bahrain but their mission is not to help ladies lose weight only, but also work with them to change from within; to love themselves from the inside and then work on the outside and finally, to introduce them to a healthy lifestyle rather than a diet with an expiration date. Currently they are giving a new approach for fitness

classes in Bahrain as well as seminars. In addition, they have conducted a fitness and nutrition seminar for an Insurance Company with VIP clients last year at the Ritz Carlton. Most ladies’ fitness centers here target weight loss “only” but they do not have the one stop place where they can get it all. Ladies usually join a gym and go separately to seek a nutritionist for their diet or join those food delivery companies. They do not have someone who is experienced in pushing and motivating them, this is why the FLASH team is different because it will be the one stop shop for all ladies who need to work from the inside out. Watch out for their free motivational seminar open to all ladies sometime this year! For more information: FLASH Bahrain @Flash_Bahrain www.flashbahrain.com

RELIVING HISTORY A DESERT ADVENTURE

Ford recreates one of the most daring and ingenious of military strategies with the Ford Jordan adventure. PowerUp reporter, Andy Goodall had the chance to experience and recount this thrilling escapade.

A

s a skydiver and helicopter enthusiast, I was always up for adventure; so when the invitation came to explore Jordan and test drive some Ford cars, I grabbed the chance. I had no idea what to expect, but I was sure that the team who dreamt of the Jordan trip and tacked the word “adventure” into it, would have some interesting ideas. I was ready to be fascinated, and Ford did not disappoint. We touched down on Jordan on May 24 and landed on a pleasant 17 degree centigrade with an overcast slight drizzle. My initial thought on Amman was how green it was; lots of trees and rolling valleys with towns in contrast to the desert

44 | PowerUp | July 2016

terrain of Bahrain. The drivers also seemed a lot more chilled out! We were given a welcome pack which included a data sim for Jordan that worked immediately The whole concept was to follow the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, the revered military genius, as he made his way across the desert, taking the Red Sea city of Aqaba by surprise. Even then, his contingent used Ford vehicles (which goes to show what we’re dealing with here: history and experience). There are actually archive footage that shows Lawrence driving a Ford Model T throughout the region. Ford provided 40,000 model T’s, used as ambulances, tanks, and transporters to the World War I effort.

THE ENDURANCE ATHLETE OF CARS William Dalrymple, famed author and historian and expert on T.E. Lawrence was our guide throughout the expedition. “Lawrence took great pride in his ability to endure the harshest of conditions for which the Bedouin are famous. I’m thrilled to join Ford in recreating this incredible event—and even more so to be experiencing it from the comfort and style of a Ford SUV instead of by camelback”. The site was visually stunning, I wished my eye as a photographer was trained enough so I can take pictures of the jawdropping scenery and the

tribesmen in their finery beside the gleaming new Ford vehicles. Thankfully, Rowland Scherman, who takes awesome photography of the Grammy awards was there, and it is his pictures that you see in this article. With seven of the strongest SUV’s and trucks in its stable: The F-150, Ranger, Edge, Expedition, Explorer, Escape, and EcoSport; the seven nameplate convoy converged on the Seven Pillars Mountain in the otherworldly Wadi Rum desert, for which Lawrence’s “Seven Pillars of Wisdom” was named.

FORD ADVENTURE

SPORTS & FITNESS

DRIVEN BY POWER It’s a pleasurable assignment for us journalists, but I was sure that ordinary cars would have been battered by this experience. “What better way to demonstrate the capability and performance of Ford’s trucks and utility vehicles, than recreating the historic march to Aqaba,” says Jim Benitende, president of Ford Middle East and Africa. Where T.E. Lawrence and the Arab army rode two months through the desert to take Aqaba by surprise, we did it in only a few hours, with tenfold more horsepower, off-road capability, comfortable seating and storage for all passengers, individual climate controls and a host of other great technologies that made driving enjoyable and easy. I’ll definitely cherish the memories for a long, long time. It’s always great to drive a car in places where you never thought you can go with a car, and to have the strength and power underneath you like with the Ford cars, wow! I had a fantastic time, and this is what I think of the cars.

THE F-150 Ford is America’s bestselling vehicle for the past 39 years. The F-150 is my personal favorite! It’s too big for the English roads but perfect for the Middle East and Africa. It’s big, powerful, and good for throwing your gear in the back with lots of room for gadgets, and even a motorbike if you want to.

THE EDGE The Edge has active noise control with intelligent allwheel drive adaptive steering

@powerupmag

and a hands-free tailgate which I think will be nice for the family.

even more innovations and driver assist technologies which is great for techie kids.

THE RANGER

THE EXPEDITION

Comfort meets capability with the new Ford Ranger pick-up. I like that it’s available in several body-options from single and double cab to the Wildtrak version. This is one of the top-selling vehicles in South Africa.

I like the space and performance of the Expedition. It can hold up to eight passengers and as much water and supplies as a small army would need to cross the Wadi Rum desert. Something to keep in mind if you plan to be the next Lawrence of Arabia.

THE EXPLORER This is Ford’s signature SUV and is designed for adventure seeking families. Now it has

THE ESCAPE I like the sleek design of

the Escape. The nice thing about this car is you can kick the tailgate to open the cargo area. Great, time-saving idea!

THE ECOSPORT This is the most sophisticated of the cars with a very cosmopolitan and contemporary feel. I think this is more suited to the big cities and metropolis of the world as it will instantly give you a cool factor. I had so much fun with this trip and look forward to my next motoring adventure!

ahrain International Circuit (BIC) Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said that it makes him proud to see Bahraini marshals and race officials showcasing the best of Bahraini motorsport at new Formula One events around the world. Baku is not the first time Bahrain is assisting in the organisation of a new Grand Prix, and Shaikh Salman said that it is a reflection of the Bahrainis’ ability to successfully stage world-class international events. Shaikh Salman added that Bahrain has come a long

way from the very first time it hosted Formula One in 2004 to today, but each year there has always been a high level of success. This is illustrated by the many distinctions Bahrain has received over the years, including the Best Organised Grand Prix award in year one. Formula One Group Chief Executive Bernie Ecclestone shared Shaikh Salman’s sentiments. He said that Bahrain is known for the high level of efficiency and professionalism in the organisation and management of international motor racing events. Ecclestone added that the

Bahrainis’ selection for Baku was the right choice, as their assistance ensured the grand success of the city’s inaugural Formula One event. Formula One Race Director Charlie Whiting also had some positive feedback on the Bahraini officials’ work. Speaking after a marshals’ briefing, Whiting was quoted as saying: “They are doing a really good job, we’re very pleased with how things are going.” A total of 250 officials from Bahrain, including 160 marshals, assisted over the weekend in Baku. The Bahraini marshals mentored their local counterparts and

took up key positions during the three days of racing. Also amongst the Bahraini delegation in Baku were Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) President and Commission Internationale de Karting President Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa and BIC Chairman of the Board Aref Rahimi. The 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe marked the eighth round of this year’s FIA Formula One World Championship. The race was being held for the first time since 2012, but it was also the first time in Baku, which is a street circuit.

TRAVEL FITNESS

FITNESS, VACATION, OR FIT VACATION? Summer getaways are inevitable when the urge for wanderlust takes hold, but that does not mean that your long-chased fitness goals should be abandoned. Here are some tips by Fitness First experts to stay fit while you travel.

W

e all know that exercise is a great moodbooster, so why leave them behind when you are out of town? Pack your work-out plans with you when you go on vacation! The ability to adapt to different surroundings and still fit in the essential workout regime is what really defines a fitness enthusiast. Whether you have access to a gym or not, there’s always something you can do to stay fit whilst on holiday. If you are on a beach vacation; jog on sandy shores, the unstable surface forces you to engage the muscles in your lower body more than when you run on a treadmill or pavement. Your room itself can double up as a mini-gym: try Chair Squats, Push-ups, and even crunches, all of which can be done in the comfort of your hotel room.

48 | PowerUp | July 2016

It is good to remind yourself that you will not be able to keep up with your complete exercise routine, so whatever you are able to manage is better than nothing at all.

CARRY-ON EXERCISE

If you have space in your luggage, why not squeeze in a jump-rope and resistance bands? You can often use familiar strength training moves with resistance bands, which means you don’t need to learn a complicated new routine. For instance, resistance bands can replace the weights you use for a biceps curl, or can increase the intensity of your push-ups. Use the jump rope for cardio, skip for 5 minutes every morning to get your heart pumping and ready for your day. Pack your pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day when you are sightseeing or hiking. Rent a bike and tour

the sites, just 20 minutes of leisurely cycling will burn 100 calories.

POOL TIME

Pools also provide ample opportunity for a full-body workout whilst you enjoy your time out with your family, aim to swim up and down the pool non-stop for around 15 minutes every day. Then of course, there are simple ab workouts such as planks, burpees, and yoga that you can do with minimal or no equipment.

DIET

Traveling can also pose a major threat to your fitness diet. Whilst it is easy to overindulge, try to focus on clean foods like fresh fruits and veggies which also cool the body. Stick with lean, grilled meats and fish instead of rich red meats. It’s a good idea to focus on foods that

are higher in protein and lower in calories such as Greek yoghurt and or eggs for breakfast, quinoa and salads for lunch, and chicken breast or yellowfin tuna for dinner. Remember to stay hydrated and try to drink at least two litres of water daily. Opting for fresh juices and health drinks over fizzy drinks will always do more good to your body but don’t overdo the fruit juices as the high acidity content can cause an upset stomach. Regardless of your fitness goals and daily routine, it is fairly easy to maintain a sensible diet and fit in a quick workout even when vacationing. So long and happy traveling! Don’t forget to have fun. For more information: Fitness First Bahrain www.fitnessfirst-me.com/ bahrain

CLEANSE YOUR

LIVER

With all the processed and fried foods that we eat, our liver is taking the brunt of the damage. Here are some foods that can stimulate the liver’s natural ability to clean toxic waste from the body. Be sure to stock up.

TOMATOES Tomatoes have abundant amounts of glutatathione, which are great liver detoxifiers. As a side effect, lycopene in tomatoes will protect against breast, skin, and lung cancer. Terrific!

WALNUTS Walnuts are packed with Omega-3 fatty acids, glutathione, and the amino acid Arginine, all of which enhance the liver’s cleansing powers, and in particular help to rid your body of excess ammonia.

BEETS

AVOCADOS This nutrient-dense super food helps the body produce glutathione, a compound that is necessary for the liver to cleanse harmful toxins.

Rich in anti-oxidants, beet greens contain over 1300 milligrams of potassium per cup. Beets also naturally cleanse the gall bladder and improve bile flow.

LEAFY GREEN VEGETABLES These contain certain chlorophylls that have the ability to absorb toxins that contaminate your body from the environment. They also help to deal with various chemicals, heavy metals and pesticides that find their way into your body system.

GARLIC

LEMON JUICE The juice of half a lemon in hot water first thing in the morning is a time-honoured way to start the day, and is an excellent wake-up call for the liver. The sourness of lemons triggers nerve and hormone activation to the liver and digestive system. 56 | PowerUp | July 2016

GRAPEFRUIT

TURMERIC

Another source of the liver cleansing glutathione, it’s also high in Vitamin C and antioxidants, which boost the production of liver detoxification enzymes and increase the natural cleansing process of the liver.

This is the liver’s favorite spice. Try adding it to a stew or vegetable dish for an instant liver pick-me-up. Turmeric helps boost liver detox, by assisting enzymes that actively flush out dietary carcinogens

Garlic is rich in allicin and selenium, two powerhouse nutrients for your liver. They act in cleansing and nourishing the entire body, especially the blood. Selenium is a naturally detoxifying mineral and allicin helps ward off immune system invaders, which lighten the load on your liver. Garlic also activates enzymes in the liver which helps with overall digestion and flushing out toxins. www.powerup-mag.com

PERFORMANCE NUTRITION STRATEGIES

MOHAMMED SAAD Sports Nutritionist at Tamayoz.bh

AS AN ATHLETE, HOW DO YOU MASTER YOUR FITNESS AND NUTRITION WHILE FASTING? MOHAMMED SAAD GIVES US SOME TIPS.

T

here are two main strategies that athletes should be focusing on which are, the 3T’s strategy “Total of food, Type of food, and Time of food”, as well as the 3R’s strategy “Rebuild, Refuel, and Rehydrate”. By mastering these skills, performance and recovery will be on its top level even in Ramadan.

TOTAL OF FOOD consuming exactly what the body needs of its caloric intake to keep the body working on its optimal level, by consuming enough calories from proteins, carbohydrates, and fats through the day. In Ramadan the time of consuming food is very short (<9 hours), it is very important for athletes to do their best to consume enough food within this short period by dividing the intake through 3-4 meals (which can be consumed every 2-2.5 hours). It is not necessary to be whole food, it can be done as smoothies or drinks just to ease the process of digestion, and have the ability to consume more food soon.

TYPE OF FOOD food types are differentiated between proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Every individual has different needs depending on their body composition, type and intensity of sports performance, as well as health interactions with food. So the athlete should consume enough proteins throughout 60 | PowerUp | July 2016

the day to maintain or improve muscle mass, also to consume enough carbohydrates for energy needs of the performance, as well as healthy fats intake for better performance adaptations and health.

TIME OF FOOD timing of food is very critical for athletes, as it improves recovery time, and increases energy level demanded by the performance. So in Ramadan it is critical for athletes to consume enough food prior to the exercise, as well as directly post exercise, and as mentioned above to have 3-4 meals through the <9 hours of the day. The last strategy is the 3Rs, very simple:

REBUILD by consuming enough amount of proteins,

REFUEL by getting enough amount of carbohydrates,

REHYDRATE by drinking enough liquids throughout the day, and avoid drinking too much water at once, specially prior to dawn. Divide it throughout the day, prior, during, and after your exercise, and monitor your hydration status by the color of your urine, the lighter it is the more hydrated your body is. www.powerup-mag.com

HAIR RESTORATION THE NATURAL WAY

A full head of hair is an enviable asset as well as being a sign of youth and attractiveness. Thankfully, modern science has found ways to help balding people get back their looks— and locks. Read on to find the hair raising adventures of our patient at Los Angeles Doctor’s Hair Restoration Medical Center (LAD HAIR) Bahrain.

O

ne of the main questions asked during a consultation with a hair doctor is “Can my hair grow back to its former length and fullness”? The answer will of course depend upon the amount of baldness, quality of remaining hair, genetics, and the length of treatment. Still hair restoration is one way to bring back the confidence and the appeal of youth. Many patients who have done the cosmetic procedure feel like they have been given a new lease on life. Basically, hair transplantation moves hair you already have, to fill in an area with little or no hair. Lad Hair Bahrain, where this feature was born, uses the most advanced methods, which are Food and

Drug Approved, for hair loss treatment and hair transplant surgery. The aim is to mimic Mother Nature and create for the patient, a natural-looking and feeling spot of hair. Dr. Tahsin Waheb was kind enough to divulge some of the techniques that he used to provide successful results. The first step was to determine our patient’s baldness pattern according to the Norwood and Ludwig Scale (see chart). As per the scale, our patient was on Level II of hair loss. Following this determination, his before photos were taken and then the back of his head, from the middle of the ears down was shaven. The doctor said that this part of the head was the part where the hair follicles are very strong and never fall off. So, the follicles

from this part of the head will be extracted and transferred to the bald side. Before extraction, the patient was given local anesthesia to numb the pain of extraction. Finally, the extraction took place. This was a grueling nine hour process that involved painstakingly extracting each of the follicles on the back of the patient’s head and transplanting it to the hairline.

The scabs that formed on the first day after the treatment fell off after the fifth day and now our patient is waiting for his hair to grow back. Of course, this procedure takes about six months to fully complete. Watch this page every month to know what has happened to our patient’s hair. You can also ask questions to our hair doctor and it will be answered on this page.

THE ROAD TO

FITNESS DUBAI-BASED FITNESS GURU RANIA GAMAL’S SWEET SIX TIPS TO AVOID DIABETES AND OBESITY

D

ubai-based fitness guru, model and TV presenter Rania Gamal vows to fight diabetes and obesity which are 2 of the top killer diseases in the GCC through six healthy tips that might direct anyone to a path of healthy lifestyle. “Every time people ask me for my secret in keeping in shape and being healthy, I always tell them that I was not born like this, I also gained weight before and it made me feel, not only less confident, but weaker. I felt like it’s hard for me to walk upstairs or I easily get weary walking in the mall but those excess pounds and fats that I had before have given me the inspiration to live healthily and fight obesity that can be the cause of diabetes and many other diseases” Rania said. Below are Rania’s sweet six tips to avoid diabetes and obesity.

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH GOOD INFLUENCERS It would be easier to find the road to fitness if you surround yourself with people who encourage you to be fit and healthy. If your friends are asking you to eat junk food, then you should be the one to be able to influence them to eat healthy. A piece of chocolate or ice cream is fine as long as it’s taken into moderation such as once or twice a

64 | PowerUp | July 2016

month but should never become a habit and it will be more beneficial if all your friends are on the same boat and have the same goals as you do.

FORGET ABOUT SUGAR One of the most important thing about diet is understanding sugar. Sugar is not a natural sweetener, it is crystallized and often bleached white. Technically speaking, sugar means sucrose, a combination of 2 monosaccharides called glucose and fructose. Since the birth of sugar in the United Kingdom in 1099, the rate of chronic and avoidable metabolic conditions like obesity, diabetes and heart disease has climbed steadily. If you are craving to sweeten your coffee or tea, it is much better to use honey.

EXERCISE IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE We might give many terrible excuses on why we cannot go to gym but there will never be a valid reason not to exercise. In the morning, you can do even a 30-minute walk before you go to work or in the afternoon, try some stretching during your break time. In the evening ask your partner or a friend to jog around your village or tune in to hundreds of work out videos on Youtube, that you can do at home and you can easily imitate.

WATER IS THE ANSWER

Our body is made up of around 60% water and even though you have heard this many times, water is a pivotal part of your nutrition. It is the only drink that will help you dissolve chemicals in your body including toxins and it also increases your metabolism. Water provides the brain with oxygen to perform at its finest.

FIBRE IS YOUR FRIEND FOREVER Fibre will help you normalize your bowel movement and will lower your cholesterol levels. A high-fibre whole grain intake is also connected to lowering rates of stroke, high blood pressure, breast cancer and type 2 diabetes.

DO NOT SIT DOWN AFTER A MEAL There are many people who sit down after a meal or worse they eat while they watch a TV series for three hours and they think it is a small issue. It is a habit that affects both your heart and your weight as the stomach is compressed between the lower part of the body and the top. This will create extra pressure in the heart as it is in the centre of the chest and might also affect its circulation. This will help relax the gallbladder and the liver, aid in digestion and diminish pressure to the heart. For more information: rania_gamal

ASTHMA

HEALTH & SAFETY TIPS

TO SURVIVE THE SANDSTORM SEASON BY MOHAMED SAMIR

Asthma awareness is crucial when living in the GCC, especially when we live in a climate which has significant environmental triggers such as sandstorms.

S

everal studies conducted in the Arabian Peninsula countries with a high rate of sandstorms, confirmed the increased prevalence of asthma in those countries.[1] It was also reported that sandstorms frequently cause adverse health effects on the respiratory function and just 15 minutes exposure to smallersize sandstorm dust particles have a greater potential for asthma[2]. Asthma requires long term treatment; however it can be managed if precaution is taken to reduce the severity of the symptoms. Knowing how to control your asthma during sandstorms, can provide asthmatics with a better quality of life. Mohamed Samir, Regional Medical Director at Munidpharma shares with us six health and safety tips to survive this sandstorm season:

STAY INDOORS Stay indoors as much as possible during sandstorms and keep windows and doors closed. Reduce exposure to common allergens during the

66 | PowerUp | July 2016

sandstorms that may provoke asthmatic attacks.

CHECK WEATHER AND POLLUTION FORECASTS It is recommended that asthmatics regularly check daily weather and air quality reports, especially during the sandstorm season. Tuning in to your local weather station can help you plan ahead and manage daily activities.

CLEAN AIR CONDITIONER VENTS Living in a hot climate country means we are indoors more often and use airconditioning regularly. Dust collection in air conditioning vents can be a harmful trigger if not cleaned and checked regularly. Air conditioning units need to be regularly maintained and cleaned every six months to avoid accumulation of dust in ducts and vents.

USE AN AIR-PURIFIER

suffer the most. An air purifier can help reduce indoor pollution and help you breathe better. Although air purifiers are by no means a cure for asthma, they help to remove the allergens and particles which can trigger symptoms by directing air through a filter. If you are asthmatic, an air purifier can help you breathe more easily by improving indoor air quality.

CONSIDER WEARING A FACE MASK IF YOU’RE OUTDOORS Consider wearing a medical face mask or use a wet towel during sandstorms to prevent inhaling the dust particles. Do not forget to regularly change face masks.

STAY HYDRATED Fluids, especially water are just as important during sandstorms. Remember to keep hydrated or even spray water on face and eyes if you come in direct contact with dust.

BEAT THE HEAT Trilife finds ways for athletes to keep their body in top condition throughout the hot summer.

W

ith Ramadan behind us, athletes across the GCC are revved up and ready to put some good training in. However with the ever increasing heat, timing could be better. So we find ourselves in a constant quest to beat the heat! We believe that training through the hottest of days is not as impossible as some may think. Exercising in the peak of summer has become very taboo, so allow us to take you through some tips that we consider summer training gems. “How?” So here we go… Indoor trainers, more commonly referred to as turbo trainers, are probably

exerting yourself in the heat means that you are expelling more energy than usual. So it only makes sense to take more precautions that usual. Making use of things like insulated Camelbak bottles means that you can keep your water much colder for much longer. This will quench your thirst and hydrate your body more effectively. Using a hydration backpack from Compressport or Camelbak means that you can carry more liquids on you. A useful tip would be to fill your hydration pack with water allowing you to fill your bottles with an electrolyte or carbohydrate drink. Another useful tip to beat the heat is to remove the bladder from the hydration pack once full of

TRI-GEAR

water and freeze it overnight. The heat from your back and the sun will slowly melt the water providing you with cold drinking water throughout your session. Now, possibly the most important aspect to beating the heat is nutrition. It’s always best to consult your local nutritionist for a personally customised and accurate dietary plan, but here are the basics. There are 4 main groups to consider when training. Carbohydrates – like glucose – for a fast release energy source, fats for a slow release energy source, protein for muscle recovery and then water for hydration. What you put in, is what you get out. When we sweat we lose water, electrolytes and salt, eventually resulting in cramps and body failure. So this should be your top priority. Then solid foods and carbohydrates are next. It is often difficult to consume

enough calories through whole foods while training and this is why brands like GU and High5 produce complex and compact energy sources like gels and protein bars. Although we do not recommend that you consume large amounts of these products on a regular basis, they are practical and highly effective during high intensity training sessions and racing. They allow you to consume large amounts of calories and energy without consuming a large volume of food. But never underestimate the need for proper food while training. You still need to keep the hunger at bay. So consider high fibre and high vitamin items like bananas, dates and raisins. Our beat the heat tip would be to consume high quality energy rather than high quantity energy. The last beat the heat tip from TriLife would be to pay attention to your clothing

UN 1 ULTR

choices. Yes, looking like a pro means that you are half way there. But there is more to a cycling kit than fancy socks and funky tops. Adding layers onto your body will always heat you up. But because exercising in ‘the nick’ is frowned upon in most countries, we suggest you choose wisely. We need to consider colour, fabric, and fit. Although slimming and flattering, try and avoid the darker colours. Dark colours attract heat and will increase your body temperature, making you sweat more and expend more energy. Try and avoid really tight fitting clothing. We know you want to be aero and all of that, but we also want you to stay conscious on your bike. A looser fit means that your clothing will catch more air, and ultimately stay cooler and dryer. It will also keep that layer off your skin allowing your skin to breathe better. Then, some brands

FASHION & GEARS

like Castelli, make summer kits that are specifically designed to keep you as cool as possible. For example, the Castelli Inferno kit uses a very thin material (almost transparent) on the top and actually has tiny holes down the side of the pants to allow extra breathing room for your legs. Compressport also has an Ultralight range of socks that are extremely thin, allowing maximum breathability for your feet. You can also make use of items like thin white summer arm sleeves from Castelli to keep the sun off your arms and Compressport headbands to keep the sweat out of your eyes. There is more to training in the heat than just getting out there and suffering it out. Hey, you might even enjoy it. For more information: +973 7733 3777 info@gotrilife.com
