Historic Rock Ford was the home of Edward Hand and his family, as well as enslaved and free servants and laborers. During the American Revolution, Edward Hand was Adjutant General to George Washington. Today, Historic Rock Ford is comprised of 33 acres at the southeastern edge of Lancaster City. This tour is approximately 60 minutes in length. You will also have time to visit the Museum Shop and the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery of Lancaster County. Enjoy the special exhibit, “Long Rifles of the American Revolution: How Lancaster County Craftsmen Helped Win the War.” Please note: there are approximately 36 steps in the Hand Mansion. This tour is scheduled for 1 p.m. RSVP by Aug. 1.

old time rock ‘n’ roll, it’s the ultimate in feel good summer fun! Featuring a live rock band, the iconic dances of days gone by and wailing vocals sure to bring down the house, you’ll want to get up and sing and dance along! All shows are pay-what-youwill in keeping the Servant Stage’s mission to make exceptional performances accessible to everyone. The show is scheduled for 3 p.m. and is located at the Lancaster Alliance Church in Lancaster.
New Holland Concert in the Park: Charlie Zahm Celtic/Folk WEDNESDAY, AUG. 17
Pick-Up: 5:15 p.m. FCC, 5:30 p.m. Clubhouse Return: 10 p.m. Charlie is an American singer and player of Celtic maritime and American music. Zahm sings baritone and plays guitar, tin whistle and bodhran drum, among other instruments. This is an outdoor concert. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Garden Spot Chapel. Food and ice cream trucks will be available. The concert is scheduled from 7 – 9 p.m.
and “Les Miserables,” as performed by Lamar Dourte, Alice Lauver, Shaun Ressler, Kayla Klase and Kay Kneisley. This concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is located at the Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster. A freewill offering will take place at intermission.
