Catering to commercial, packaging and book printing, National Printers undertakes government print projects as well. Founded in 1991 by Krishna Kant Kedia in state of Jharkhand, the print company expanded by partnering with Ashok Agarwal, in Ranchi. Today, the print facility has a footprint of 200,000 Sq. feet across 3 facilities, equipped with Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102, Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 74, and Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 102 press equipment. “Besides, Heidelberg provides CIP4 connectivity with the press, offering a digitized workflow that improves quality of productivity and reduces make-readies significantly. Saphira plates, Heidelberg Suprasetter, and Prinect workflow synchronize in line press
connectivity to boost efficiency and performance,” adds Kedia. Built upon Heidelberg’s proprietary laser technology, the Heidelberg Suprasetter A106 is designed to deliver excellent imaging quality and uninterrupted production, thanks to the Intelligent Diode System (IDS). Developed and patented by Heidelberg, the IDS eliminate production losses, even if one or more diodes fail. The internal punching system ensures reliable production with maximum register accuracy, reducing make-ready times and minimizing wastage, particularly for repeat jobs. An extensive cooling system makes sure the plate setting process is not influenced by external room temperature. Kedia and Ashok Agarwal, head the operations at National Printers and cater to customers from all segments, such as commercial, books, packaging, and government works. Indukalpa Saikia, sales manager –eastern region, Heidelberg India, said, “ National Printers, is our long time customer, Apart from the Suprasetter equipment the deal covered with Prinect Production manager workflow & Saphira consumables supply for period of 3 years, which rounds up our offerings from pre-press and press.”
