Piano 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh During sketching the piano I was going for side views along with front view. The way I started is by measuring the piano by 16’’. The keyboard were measured in 1/8’’. The processing in sketching these instrument needs a lot of tools such as a T-square and scale.

Chase the Rabbit 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh We chose a song we liked and I chose Chase the rabbit. I then got a piece of the lyrics and measured how long is the space for each lyric. Then, I measured the volume which and mapped it in the blue. Finally, I diagrammed how high the pitch is in the song.

Sound Booth 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh We chose one of the spaces from our model to design into unique sound booth. The sound booth can be made up of multiple shapes to make one complex shape. My sound booth has more uses than just listening to music.

Cardboard Chair 2018 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh Before anything else, we brainstormed as a group so that when we decided on idea we could plan for it. In the chair project, I was given the role of assembling the pieces together with glue. The Chair at a 1:1 scale and the top piece of the chair is 16’’.

Puzzle Cube 2018 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh The puzzle cube is made by creating 3 pieces of form work. When all the pieces are created, we then add cement to make the piece in cement. Bandshell 2019 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh This is the Bandshell project where we make our own outdoor performance space in Trenton. The unique bandshell can have multiple uses such as food and retail. This gives the bandshell use beyond the occasional concert.
