Instrument Project 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh The intent was to translate a physical instrument onto paper, in which I created a plan and section of this instrument. The innards along with the thickness of this instrument is visible on the vellum paper.

Soundscape project 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh We were told to create a soundscape and to create a model of it. Any music was permitted so I chose to use a piano solo to create my soundscape. The model was simple as well, as the layers are similar to the soundscape, with the exception of small 2 boxes which were suppose to hold the notes above and below it. Incomplete Model, 2018, 9-1/8”x12”, Cardboard, foam board, museum board

Listening booth project 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh We were told to use the soundscapes we made and turn it into a listening booth. The first thing I did was figure out what I could make with my soundscape. I thought to turn it into a circle and give it a dome roof. After that, we had to implement our soundscape into the design which I did with the hollow notes within the booth. Materials/Items used within listening booth

Chair Project 2018 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh We needed to get into groups and create a chair out of cardboard that could support the weight of a person sitting on it. I had everyone in my group split the work up, and then connected the pieced once we were all done. I was mainly working on design and working on the legs.

Pepper Project 2018 In-Class, Individual Project We were told to use French curves to get the inside and outside curves of a pepper, which was a simple task as long as you didn’t drip any of the pepper juice on your work. After you obtained the curves from the pepper, you made a non detailed edition of it to the side of it only showing curves on the outside.

Concrete block project 2018 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh We had to create molds out of concrete that connects to each other. As my group and I were not in on the first day of this project, we only had to make 2 molds. I mainly tested or guessed the tolerances we needed.

Band Shell Project 2019 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh The objective of this project is to create a bandshell with normal uses or unique uses while adding things around to attract people to it. I chose a can-like design as if you cut a can in half and put a stage inside it. I chose to put food stands out so i can attract a slight bit more attention.
