In the wake of war, a desperate need for help arose for many Ukrainian refugees. Your response allowed us to come alongside displaced Ukrainian families in 2022.

Today, through your support, Ukrainian refugees are attending evangelistic meetings, participating in Bible studies and saying “Yes!” to Jesus as they make decisions to be baptized.

Please continue to pray for our displaced brothers and sisters in Eastern Europe—that we can continue supporting them in this time of need.

“God has Found Me Here!”

As they approached the church building where the program was soon to start, Lada stopped to read the sign with the church name, and then she started crying.

Lada explained that she had been enrolled in an Adventist school back in Ukraine. She missed her friends and teachers so much. She never thought she’d find another church group that was so special in Poland. Seeing the church sign, she said, “I cannot believe God has found me here!”

A Ukrainian pastor was holding evangelism meetings for Ukrainian refugees in Katowice City in Poland.

One day, on his way to the meeting, he heard someone playing Ukrainian anthems on a piano in the middle of the city square. He came closer and saw a teenage girl at the piano. Her name was Lada.

The pastor learned Lada and her mother had fled to Poland because of the war. He invited them to come to the Bible study meeting and get some food.

It turns out the pastor was friends with the principal of Lada’s school in Ukraine. He pulled out his phone so they could have a video chat right then and there before the meeting started!

This situation created such a warm and comfortable atmosphere that Lada felt like she had met her extended family.

At the end of the series of meetings, Lada stood up at the call to be baptized, along with 16 others from all the meeting sites. What a miracle! Even when you are far from home, God is never far from you!

2023 Mission Trips

Nakuru, Kenya

July 17–31, 2023

The team will serve side by side with church members in Kenya to minister to unreached people who will be hearing the gospel message for the first time through adult and children’s evangelistic meetings, health/eye clinics and a church improvement project.

Rivera, Uruguay

Sep 26– Oct 9, 2023

The team will help international church members respond to the call for community outreach and revival through evening meetings, corresponding children’s programs and daily eye screenings at four sites.

Siem Reap, Cambodia

November 13–27, 2023

The team will work to inspire and encourage church members in sharing the gospel with their neighbors through the My Friend Jesus sermon series, corresponding children’s programs and daily health screenings in at least three sites.

“We Have Never Heard Such a Teaching”

How YOU helped save two souls in Indonesia…

Tini, Ludiana and Putri met at school in Bittuang, Indonesia, where they were roommates. They became fast friends through their shared faith at a charismatic church, which has been their religion since childhood.

One day when Tini was visiting a friend in another village, she met Pastor Arus, a Quiet Hour Ministries gospel worker, who came to the friend’s house to give a Bible study.

Even though Tini lived 18 miles away, Pastor Arus offered to study the Bible with her in her home, and she gladly accepted. He was able to travel this distance every week because of a donated motorcycle from Quiet Hour Ministries, which greatly extended his travel abilities.

You are opening eyes to God’s truth!

For three months, Tini, Ludiana and Putri met with Pastor Arus and studied the Bible enthusiastically. The three women were amazed at the Bible study because they had never heard such teaching.

When the call was made for them to accept the truth and surrender themselves to God through baptism, Tini and Ludiana stepped into the pool with full confidence and happiness. Putri, however, is still struggling to make a decision for fear of her parents.

Pray for these three young women. May God strengthen and use them to be His witnesses for their families and everyone they interact with.
