SEWING FAITH: How your gift weaves

As you step into the cool, dimly lit building, the heat of the scorching sun and the sound of the busy street fade away.
Inside, the steady hum of sewing machines fills the air, and colorful threads and fabric scraps cover the floor.
Amid the sewing machines, you hear a voice reading the Bible. Samuel is working diligently with a bright blue device on an orange lanyard around his neck. This device, called a God Pod, plays the book of Genesis in his native language as he works.

Samuel isn’t the only one listening. His coworkers, many of whom are Muslim, also hear the Bible’s message. In a region where 80% of the population is Muslim, its people like you that help spread the Word of God.

Samuel’s God Pod also includes a phone number that connects listeners directly to the North Ghana Mission’s Evangelism Director. This means that if anyone has questions they can get answers right away. Samuel’s God Pod opens doors of opportunity as he shares with his Muslim coworkers.

A new chapter begins: A heartfelt farewell
A significant milestone is approaching for me—at the end of this year, I will be retiring!
When I first joined Quiet Hour Ministries in 2001, I had no idea just how deeply this ministry would impact my life. It has been an incredible journey, filled with countless blessings and moments of seeing God’s hand at work.
As God leads me into this next chapter, I am filled with confidence in the future of Quiet Hour Ministries. With a new leader at the helm (stay tuned for more details), a strong board of directors, a devoted team and our amazing international partners, I know the mission will continue to flourish.
I also want to take a moment to personally thank you for your faithful support over the years. Your generosity has kept this ministry thriving, and for that, I am truly grateful. As I say goodbye, my final request is that you continue to stand with us in prayer and support.
Like you, I’ll be looking forward to receiving all the QHM mission updates each month and celebrating all the ways God is moving around the world.
