INDONESIA — When Adam moved from Central Sulawesi to Karossa in West Sulawesi (about 400 miles away), he wasn’t looking for God—he was looking for a fresh start.
Invited by relatives to work on a palm oil plantation, Adam hoped to settle into a new routine and build friendships. But because of your generosity, God did something amazing in his life.

“I became friends with Permadi and Leo,” Adam shares. “At first, I just wanted to make friends
because I was new to the area.”
But Leo, a gospel worker sent through Quiet Hour Ministries, didn’t just offer friendship. He shared God’s love and truth in a way Adam had never experienced before.
Through Bible studies and conversations, Adam learned to live a healthier life, give up harmful habits and honor the Sabbath. Then, a dream changed everything.

“I dreamed of Jesus,” Adam recalls. “He said, ‘If you want to change your life, you must enter the church, distance yourself from things God doesn’t want and always pray to Me.’”
That dream became reality when Adam committed his life to Christ in baptism. Adam was deeply moved during his baptism.
“I cried because I remembered the things I had done that were contrary to God’s commands,” Adam
says, “but thank God, He guided me to renew my life.”
