Mulugeta started attending outdoor evangelistic meetings near his village. The sermons spoke to his heart, and the kindness of the people he met gave him a sense of belonging he had been missing.
Experiencing Jesus’ love for the first time, Mulugeta decided to commit his life to Christ.
On March 30, 2024, Mulugeta was baptized at Hawassa Lake, surrounded by a crowd of believers.

BIBLE STUDY
One of the key achievements your partnership made possible was the establishment of 4,823 small Bible study groups. These groups not only facilitated deep scriptural study, but also fostered community.
BIBLE DISTRIBUTION
Your support provided for the widespread distribution of 50,000 tracts and sermon books (translated into Amharic and Afan-Oromo languages), as well as the purchase and distribution of 2,000 Bibles for new converts.
BAPTISM
The evangelistic efforts you made possible culminated in the baptism of 6,224 souls during the two-week program, with a huge ceremony at Hawassa Lake where 724 individuals were baptized together.
A renewed faith— thanks to you!
Marta, a young woman from Central Ethiopia, had long felt disconnected from her faith. The challenges of daily life had taken a toll on her spiritual journey.
Yet, the recent efforts by Quiet Hour Ministries gospel workers offered her a chance for renewal.
Faith awakened through your generosity
Thanks to your support, Marta was able to join a local Bible study group, where she found renewed faith.
When Marta was invited to join a local Bible study group, she said, “Yes!” and quickly became an active participant. The group’s discussions and the sense of community helped her reconnect with her faith.
The outdoor evangelistic meetings sounded exciting to Marta, so she attended those too.
Marta said “Yes!” for the second time—this time to following Jesus! On March 24, 2024, she was baptized alongside many others in her community.
