When Victoria arrived in Siem Reap, Cambodia, she was stunned by the depth of the needs surrounding her.
As a member of a recent mission team, she found her heart opened to a reality she hadn’t imagined— a world where faith and survival often clash. Yet, thanks to donors like you, there’s a growing hope amid these struggles.
Your support encourages believers
One of the biggest challenges in Cambodia is keeping the Sabbath.
Victoria learned that children often face a heartbreaking choice: attend school on Saturdays or keep the Sabbath and risk falling behind. For parents and working youth, the decision is even more difficult.
“Because they are so poor, they can hardly make ends meet if they don’t work on Saturdays,” she said. “They often have to choose between working to eat the next day or keeping the Sabbath.”
But thanks to your support, efforts are underway to strengthen the support for those who seek to observe the Sabbath without jeopardizing their future.
Health ministry you make possible
Victoria was deeply moved by the health crises she witnessed.
“They’re malnourished and don’t have enough money for food,” she explained. “Their housing conditions are a problem too. The close quarters allow tuberculosis and other diseases to run rampant.”

“I’m really in awe of the Adventist believers here,” Victoria said at the end of her trip. “Their commitment to serving God in poverty is truly inspiring.”

Sacaba, Bolivia
In the heart of Sacaba, Bolivia, revival is spreading.
“Before Quiet Hour Ministries came, our evangelistic efforts in this region were met with little success,” said District Pastor Mendoza.
“But everything changed when the QHM gospel workers got to work and brought fresh energy and new methods.”

“QHM’s gospel workers’ approach has been successful because it is something new for this area of Sacaba,” Pastor Rolando added. The excitement spread through the community as they saw new life in the church.
Pastor Mendoza (in the background) has a passion to reach the people of Bolivia and prays for them daily.
In May, the team jumped into their mission. Their goal was to baptize 30 people, but they celebrated an amazing 90 who chose to follow Christ. “Praise God! We were overwhelmed with joy!” Pastor Mendoza exclaimed, grateful for the impact of your support.

Now as Pastor Mendoza and his team enter the next phase, the vision is even bigger.
Each gospel worker will reach out to 15 new people every week for the next eight weeks, aiming to baptize another 30 and fill the pews of a new church they plan to build.

A message from our new CEO
Happy New Year dear Quiet Hour family! It is with excitement and joy that I write to you as the newest member of Quiet Hour Ministries.
My name is Edward Marton. My wife, Mariya and I have just celebrated 25 years of marriage. Currently we have a son, studying at Southern University, a daughter who is a junior in high school, and a little dog who spends most of his time napping.
God has called each one of us to share Jesus with a world in need. And the Lord has equipped us by the power of the Holy Spirit to make a difference for the His Kingdom.
I look forward to getting to know each one of you as we share Jesus together. My prayer is that we continue to be the voice, hands, and feet of Jesus Christ, that He may be glorified through our lives, leading many to follow Him.
