Chairman’s Message
Why is it important to bring hope to the world? We believe it is vital to follow Jesus’ call to spread the message of God’s love and grace. I am honored to serve with a ministry that brings mission teams to work alongside international churches. And, I’m grateful to our faithful donors who make this possible.
As we move forward, we praise God for sustaining Quiet Hour Ministries through challenges, and look to the future for what He will do next. You will see some innovation and new features launching during the coming year.
We ask for your continued prayers as we do our part to keep sharing the good news of Jesus with the world.

mission story
From worshiping under a tree to worshiping in a borrowed, cramped room to worshiping in a magnificent building with furniture is a story to tell for the Stoneridge SDA Church members. The spirits are high, evidenced by the attendance, the singing, and the participation in the church. The first elder, Steven Charumbira, testifies, “I have never felt more blessed than now. The Lord’s mercy has been shown on Stoneridge.”
Another church member, Mrs. Salem Mugwira, says, “We had reached our limits after struggling for more than three years trying to complete the building. This was indeed a timely blessing. We are no longer a laughingstock. God is no longer shamed.”
The Stoneridge church building is evangelizing on its own. It has changed how the community perceives the SDA Church. It is motivational for church attendance. A blessing indeed!

president’s Message
This year we saw the Gospel spread in incredible ways. We have been blessed to lead mission teams with dozens of team members, And we are thrilled to work with international partners in a wide variety of projects, all with the goal of bringing the good news of Jesus to people all over the world.
The reports that are most rewarding for me to hear tell the stories of the way lives change as people accept Jesus. One of my most memorable experiences in 2023 was meeting gospel workers in remote areas of Zambia who are using motorcycles provided by donations to QHM. They asked me to pass along their gratitude for the ability the motorcycles provide to expand their reach and bring even more people to Christ. I was touched by their inspiring commitment and the reality of the remote environment in which they work.
I am thankful for the donations that make it possible to support the dozens of gospel projects around the world, as well as provide opportunities for people to share their faith in personal ways, face-to-face, and heart-to-heart.

mission story
The Cambodian gospel workers are truly inspirational! One of our mission trip meeting sites was at a hotel, aiming to enter a new community. Although there were only a few adults, quite a few children showed up each night and learned about Jesus. After the trip, the gospel workers continued to meet with them and even found a place where they could keep sharing stories about Jesus.
It certainly crossed our mind on the trip that maybe we aren’t there to plant a new church of adults, but to share the gospel with the next generation.
The smiling team of gospel workers wanted to continue working together, so they agreed to spend two days a week working on the west side of town and three days a week on the east side. They have made follow-up contact with the kids who were coming each day and have found a small hut to continue teaching them in the evenings. Praise God!

The Global Gospel Impact Your Gifts
Financial statements can show trends and outcomes in a nonprofit organization, but I am always fascinated by how these numbers also tell a story of God’s ability to sustain a ministry.
It’s truly gratifying to see how God expands our resources to meet gospel needs around the globe. The charts in this report illustrate the financial picture for 2023. Time and again, the donations we receive and the funds we distribute are direct answers to prayer.
The most meaningful part of our financial reporting is witnessing how every contribution from our donors makes it possible to reach the world for Christ. I am honored to serve in a ministry that values stewardship of resources for mission.

let’s go boldly into the future
With prayers and praises for the blessings of 2023, we look forward to building and growing in the future.
The staff and board of Quiet Hour Ministries invite you to join us in praying for this ministry, our mission team members, and our international partners working to share Jesus. We also keep you, our supporters, in our prayers, as your contributions sustain this vital work. Together, with God’s guidance, we can spread the Good News to the world. Jesus said, “Let’s go somewhere else, to the small towns that are nearby. I have to spread the Good News in them also. This is why I have come.”
