Not even sky-rocketing fuel costs or the occasional roaming elephants can keep ministry from happening in Kenya.

“Many people have been impacted by our visits and are still calling us back for continued Bible studies and discussions,” said Pastor Robert Tinega, Evangelism Coordinator, Central Rift Valley Conference, Kenya.

“With much persistence and God’s guidance and courage, we had a successful evangelistic outreach

Jesus said, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20).

As believers, we’re commanded to meet together regularly and to encourage one another (Hebrews 10:24–25), since we are better together than we are alone (Romans 12:4–5).

Yet, right now, all around the world, there are some brothers and sisters in Christ who cannot gather together for worship…

■ They have no church building.

■ Their church is in disrepair or unfinished.

■ Open-air meetings are not an option when it’s cold and rainy or the scorching sun is overhead.

Chapels are needed throughout the world to provide safe, accessible places to share the gospel! Will you help…

Your gifts of chapels are fostering communities of faith

“Greetings, friends of QHM,” writes Pastor Perez. (He’s serving in a closed country we can’t mention by name.)

“So far this year, six new churches have been organized, and we are currently organizing four more!”

But a growing church is just one aspect of Paster Perez’s ministry.

Through your generous support, Pastor Perez (pictured in photo below, on right) recently purchased a house, which will soon be converted into a chapel.

“With the donations [QHM donors] gave us, we bought and distributed food to families in the surrounding communities,” he said. “All the families are very grateful for the timely help they received.”

“In addition, 243 souls were recently baptized as a result of evangelistic campaigns,” he said.

The foundations of faith you make possible

Yet perhaps most exciting, your generous support also enabled Pastor Perez and his team to purchase a house, which will soon be converted into a chapel to provide an official place of worship. “God has blessed us abundantly,” said Pastor Perez.

Thank you for your faithfulness and generosity— and for allowing God to work through you to transform communities like Pastor Perez’s.

CHAPELS bring inspiration to the isolated

At Quiet Hour Ministries, we recognize the significance of addressing spiritual needs alongside material ones. After all, that’s what Jesus did!

Building chapels in remote communities is a transformative endeavor that goes way beyond construction. The chapels you make possible not only serve as places of worship, but they also become hubs for education, empowerment and hope.

Yes, chapels provide a physical space for people to learn about Jesus, fostering spiritual growth and moral guidance. But they also promote social connection and unity, contributing to the holistic well-being of communities around the world.

Thank you for your faithful partnership!

Blessings,

When completed, Pastor Perez’s chapel will be more than a meeting place for worship. It will also serve as a launch pad for evangelistic efforts, providing a foundation for long-term ministry impact.

“Three chapels have been built in support of new believers here in this region of Kenya,” said Pastor Robert.

More than 70 children are attending Bible studies each night and learning about God’s great love for them.

“We have one gospel worker who has been doing much groundwork and is nurturing new believers,” he said. “So far, 51 Bibles have been given to those who were baptized, 300 pieces of literature were
