A Royal Responsibility
How Princess Zena is transforming her community
As a real-life princess, Zena has a responsibility to serve her community.
Yet, that responsibility shifted two years ago, when Zena, just 10 years old at the time, met Araldo and Marcela. The missionary couple had been sent to plant a church in the remote village of Mitú, Colombia, where Zena lives.
Zena was among the first to join the couple’s Pathfinder Club. Due to the regal position she held in her community, almost single-handedly she helped grow the club from just 2 members (her and her best friend) to 28!
You are helping raise up disciples deep in the Amazon jungle!
Today, at 12 years old, Zena is mature beyond her years. She was recently baptized—and her duty to her people has grown.
“Being baptized means I am to be faithful to God,” said Zena. “That means I have to tell people about His love.” Keep reading for more of Zena’s story

Small acts, big picture
In God’s plan, each of us plays a vital role.
Sometimes, it might seem small or unclear, but every act of faithfulness matters.
4 EASY WAYS YOU CAN GIVE NOW! If we don’t tell them
God calls some to go (like those you can read about in this newsletter) or step out of their comfort zone. Others, He calls to stay behind, to wait, to serve quietly. Many, He calls to give or to pray…the list goes on. In whatever way He may be calling YOU, know that we’re all pieces of the same bigger picture.
As we trust in God’s guidance, let’s embrace our roles wholeheartedly. Even in the ordinary, let’s always remember we’re part of something greater.
