Sowing seeds of faith

Asni says “Yes” to Jesus—and leads her family to Him too!

Asni was born and raised high in the rural mountains of Sulawesi, Indonesia, where she lives with her husband and seven children (the oldest is 32, the youngest is 5).

She and her family live a simple life as subsistence farmers, hand to mouth.

“We work in our small field to provide for our daily needs, and if we have extra [fruits, vegetables and chilies], we sell it to the market to fulfill our other needs,” she said.

The harvest YOU are a part of Asni was first introduced to the Adventist Church by her son, Ebin, who met an Adventist pastor while working at a gas station. After attending evangelistic meetings, Ebin later became baptized and then joined the evangelism team.

At her son’s invitation, Asni attended two evangelistic meetings and began studying the Bible.

“I was seeking the truth, and then I found it!” said Asni. She too decided to get baptized and become a Seventh-day Adventist Christian.

Despite facing opposition from her former church and some family members, she stood firm in her new faith. “Even though some are against me, I’ll stay faithful,” she said. Recently, her other children, her mom and her grandma were also baptized— everyone but her husband.

Will you pray for Asni and other new believers?

As for worship, “The road here is very difficult,” she said. “The pastor only comes every two months. But we have our family worship, just us, every Sabbath.”

Will you please join us in praying for Asni and her family? Pray for her son Ebin, who is studying to become a pastor. Pray for a place of worship and more believers in her village. Please also pray, “That one day my husband also will join us in this beautiful faith,” said Asni.

Thank you for all you do to make worldwide evangelism possible. Lost souls are saved for eternity—through your generous support!

INDONESIA

Thanks to you,

You are helping Indonesia’s spiritual

South Sulawesi, Indonesia

“A brighter day will come!”

The Luwu Tana Toraja Mission in Indonesia was organized in 2015 and oversees 3 schools, 32 churches and a membership of 3,068.

“We believe that God has sent Quiet Hour Ministries and all the donors to help evangelism ministry in this region,” said Pastor Imanuel Lisupandang, President of the Luwu Tana Toraja Mission.

“We are thankful that God has blessed us in the past year to maintain and go forward in evangelistic efforts,” he said.

Through the generous support of you and other ministry friends, last year Quiet Hour Ministries was able to send the Luwu Tana Toraja Mission enough funding to enable their ministry.

A brighter future through faith—and your support!

“The Lord will bless our humble commitment,” he said. “And of this period of darkness, a brighter day will come. The Lord Jesus will surely come!”

“Thank you very much Quiet Hour Ministries and all donors for all your contributions. May God continue to bless you all.”

helping break through spiritual stronghold!

There are very few Christians in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Because the vast majority of people have been raised since birth in other beliefs, it is challenging to have meaningful spiritual discussions. However, “nothing is impossible with God” (Matthew 19:26).

Youth equipped for ministry —through your support!

Pastor Christian, who works in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, has come up with a unique way to engage young people from his church—and also reach young people outside the church.

If you’ve ever met a teenager, you know peer influence is powerful. Pastor Christian believes the best way to reach a young person is through another young person.

Teenagers also like to eat! That’s why, each week, a group from Pastor Christian’s church, known as the Young Lion Care Group, meets at a local pizza restaurant.

Youth in Indonesia brainstorm over pizza on how to reach their peers for Christ and make a positive impact on their community.

Each week, the Young Lion Care Group, meets at a local pizza place for spiritual discussion and community service planning.

From pizza to purpose— thanks to your generosity!

The group’s meetings consist of social activities, spiritual discussions and planning for community service projects. Jonathan, a spokesperson for the group, said, “Each member is encouraged to bring a friend, which has led to a steady attendance of five nonAdventist individuals.”

Thanks to you and others to make these programs possible, this group is already making a positive impact on their community. Please pray it will continue to grow in size and impact. Thank you!

If we don’t share the gospel with them, who will?

All around the world, men, women and children—even entire families and communities—have yet to meet their Savior, Jesus Christ.

They live in spiritual darkness…hopelessness…separated from God.

Your gift today will help reach these lost souls as we…

■ Serve those in need in our broken world.

■ Share the gospel worldwide with all people.

■ Build, nurture and equip churches around the world.

Our divine calling

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations.” This command, known as The Great Commission, is for every believer. Global evangelism is not just a task but a divine calling, urging us to share the gospel with the whole world.

Consider the early disciples who, despite immense challenges, spread the message of Christ across the known world. Their dedication was fueled by the understanding that every soul matters to God.

Today, because of technology and travel, reaching the unreached has never been more feasible. Yet, it requires our commitment, prayers and resources.

Thank you for all you do to support worldwide evangelism and show God’s love and hope to those who need it. Let us continue to be bold, stepping out in faith, knowing that we carry the transformative power of Christ’s love.

Together, we are helping grow God’s Kingdom on earth.
