IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME Jesus declared that, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” Throughout His mission, he not only fed people spiritually, He broke bread with people of all walks of life. In doing so, they experienced His
love and received the blessing of inclusion, connection and hope. Jesus taught us that there is a link between physical and spiritual hunger. When He broke bread with His disciples before His crucifixion, He asked us to, “do this in remembrance of me.” Right now, in countries around the world, gospel workers combine the idea of breaking bread together with offering the opportunity to partake of The Bread of Life. This truth has been especially critical in this pandemic era. In Mongolia, gospel workers created a soup kitchen to serve their community and build relationships where Jesus is shared. In Columbia, gospel workers promote Bible study through radio spots focused on healthy living and highlighting them by selling whole wheat bread in the local market. In Jamaica, gospel workers give gifts of rice to neighbors when they invite them to study the Bible.

By following the pattern Jesus set, and with help from the faithful gifts of people like you, tens of thousands of hearts were drawn to our Savior and baptized into the family of God. What a glorious day it will be when we break bread together with our Savior, face-to-face!

CHRIST’S METHOD ALONE In March of 2019, team member James, his wife Daryl and their son Jachin joined a mission team in Iloilo, Philippines. There is incredible joy in following Christ’s method of reaching people. On their trip to Iloilo, the team traveled to a village within the city. They went to provide food for the very poor in that neighborhood. They were surprised to find there were already hundreds of people waiting for them when they arrived. Pastor Bill Tucker gave a powerful testimony of God’s love and protection and shared how much Jesus loves each of them.
Team members gathered behind the long tables to help distribute rice, bread and fresh fruit. What a meaningful way to start sharing Jesus! James and Daryl stood with another team member at the end of the line and met people with hugs, smiles, and encouraging words. They also provided people with information on health and the gospel. They invited them to come to learn more about Jesus! They prayed with them. “My heart rejoiced at the privilege to see so many people blessed in this kind of actual ministry,” James says.
CHRIST’S METHOD ALONE WILL GIVE TRUE SUCCESS IN REACHING PEOPLE. Our dear friend and colleague, Jim Neergaard, went to his rest due to COVID-19 in January. Your prayers gave him courage during his final days. Jim was on fire for Jesus. His selfless commitment to sharing the gospel was a blessing to everyone he met. Through his work with QHM, hundreds of thousands around the world met their Savior. We miss Jim. We are comforted knowing Jesus is coming again soon. His family has requested that gifts in his memory be used to share Jesus around the world. qhministries.org/neergaard-memorial

FEEDING THE FIVE THOUSAND Those one or two will share the good news of Jesus with a few more friends and those friends will share Him with a few of their neighbors and before you know it, thousands will have the opportunity to meet Jesus! Today is the perfect day to offer your humble gifts to Jesus. He will multiply them beyond your imagination! Can searching hearts count on you?
Jesus told us that He is the bread of life. In the story of His miraculous feeding of the five thousand, He illustrated the power of sharing the gospel. A humble gift may share Him directly with one or two more, but it has the power to reach many. How?
