Public Meeting The first public meeting held was an introduction to the project for the public to learn about the intent of the plan. The meeting began with an overview of the project’s process, identifying the boundaries of the study area, what the plan hopes to accomplish and what has been accomplished thus far. To make the meeting a productive input session, the large group of attendees were broken up into smaller groups of 8 to 12 for group discussion and brainstorming. Each group was tasked with addressing three major topics and then reporting back with their ideas. During the half hour of discussion, the consultant team and County staff migrated between groups to facilitate discussion and answer questions. The three questions posed were: • What are the key issues? • What are the key assets along the corridor? • In 25 years, what is your vision for the corridor?
