Jesus had spent three years with His disciples. He loved them. He wanted them to be with Him in the good times and in the difficult times. He knew that a difficult time was coming. He led His disciples to a garden to pray. They could gain strength from His heavenly Father to face this difficult time. What did His disciples do? Did they pray too?

It was evening. Jesus’ disciples followed Him to a garden.

Jesus told His disciples, “Sit here. I will go over there to pray.”

Jesus took Peter, James and John with Him. Jesus told His closest friends, “My heart is very sad. Wait here and stay awake with Me.”
耶稣带着彼得、雅各和约翰。耶稣对他最亲密的朋友们说：

Jesus walked a short distance away from them. He fell to the ground. He began to pray.

“My Father, please take away this cup of suffering from Me. Yet, I want to do Your will, not mine.”
Jesus went back to His closest friends. They were all sleeping.

“Could you not stay awake with Me for one hour?” Jesus asked.
“Stay awake and pray. Don’t give into temptation.”
Two more times, Jesus found them sleeping.
“你们不能同我警醒片刻吗?”耶稣问到。“要警醒祷告。免得入了迷惑。”
耶稣这样又去祷告两次，发现他们每一次还是都睡着了。
The disciples saw lights coming toward them. Judas, one of the disciples, was leading a crowd! The crowd had swords and clubs.
门徒们看见有亮光朝他们而来。门徒中的一个，就是犹大，
Judas came to Jesus and kissed Him. Then the guards knew the person to arrest. Judas had betrayed Jesus!
犹大来到耶稣跟前并且与他亲嘴。卫兵就知道耶稣就是要抓捕的人。
Jesus willingly went with the guards. All of the disciples ran away.
耶稣自己跟着卫兵走了。所有的门徒都逃走了。
