After the Jewish people left their lives of slavery in Egypt, they celebrated the Passover Feast each year. They remembered the blood of a spotless lamb which their fathers had put on the doorposts of their homes. When the destroyer saw the blood, he passed by and did not kill their firstborn sons.

At the Passover Feast, Jesus took some bread. He thanked God for it. 在逾越节，耶稣拿起一块饼。他祷告感谢了神。
Jesus broke the bread and gave it to His disciples. He said, “Eat this, for it is My body.”

Jesus gave the cup to His disciples. They all drank from the cup.
