A MESSAGE FROM ANGELA BATOON

DISTRICT GOVERNOR “Hi! I’m Angela Batoon, the KIWIN’S District Governor for the 2020-2021 term. I’m from Turquoise Division which is about an hour from Los Angeles. I’m going to be an incoming senior, so this term will be my last hurrah. In quarantine, I’ve been playing Animal Crossing, watching Hunter X Hunter, online thrifting, and crying over my AP test that didn’t submit, so if any of those things relate to you, feel free to message me. I’m sure we’ll become friends.” Yours in service, Angela Batoon District Governor 2020-2021

A MESSAGE FROM JULIANA MIRANDA CHAFFEY HIGH SCHOOL ‘21 LIETENANT GOVERNOR “Hey Gators, my name is Juliana Miranda and I’ll be serving as your Lieutenant Governer for the 2020-2021 term. I am excited to work with you all, create long-lasting friendships, and inspire leadership! My goal for this term is to update our schools by posting on social media platforms weekly and by contacting officers frequently. Also, I plan on increasing membership by creating a promotional committee, combining socials with fundraisers/service projects, and by promoting membership through service events after club rush and freshman orientation. Finally, I hope to charter another school in the Goldstone division so let’s hope we’ll expand our gator family! I’m the immediate past secretary of Chaffey High School KIWIN’S. Throughout the term, I increased membership, increased participation, and created a partnership with our school’s backpack program. What I love most about KIWIN’S is our friendships, events, and the passion we share to improve our community. KIWIN’S has become my home away from home, my second family, and my passion. And so, I hope you all will join me on this journey. By increasing the friendships, getting to know you all, having sister-school events, and helping out smaller clubs in our division, I know the Goldstone division will continue to improve. It is in our gator spirit! Even though we cannot meet each other in person at the moment, I am working hard on creating online challenges, meetings, and divisional events to strengthen our gator spirit despite not being able to see you all in person. We have a long way ahead, but the divisional leadership and I have high hopes, many ideas, and goals to increase our participation, creativity, and family.” Chomping through for service, Juliana Miranda
