This trip to Phrae both warding off bad luck and touring
Many believe the story of horoscope, and always like to be foretold from their birth month or date of birth by many fortune tellers seen commonly. I am also the one of those who believes in this. A few days ago, I had an opportunity to be foretold on my fortune at a temple in Bangkok. The fortune teller said that lately at this time my fortune was not good and I need to ward off my bad luck by making a merit and it must be at 3 temples of Wat Phra That as well, and then I would see my good luck immediately ... Oh my God!!! Unexpectedly ... I had a chance to talk by phone with Ms. Phattaraanong Na Chiang Mai, the Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Phrae Office, that at Phrae, there are many temples of Wat Phra That, all of which are the holy ones, and there also are many artworks to appreciate such as Wat Phra That Cho Hae, Wat Phra That Chom Chae, Pha That Luang Chai Chang Kham, Wat Phra That Non, etc. Oh ... letus say they meet my demand exactly... For this trip to Phrae, I chose to travel by a service of Sombat Tour for round trip, and stayed at a small service apartment called vNana Charoenmuangw located on Charoen Muang Road, the road of traditional commercial area of Phrae. I stayed here 1 night. Travelling in Phrae, I chose to borrow a bike from Mueang Phrae Municipality, which allows visitors to borrow a bike for free. We would like to thank them for this time. The municipality allowed me to use their bicycle throughout the2 days 1 night, which I had contacted them in advance. This time I set out at 20.30 hr. at Vibhavadi - Rangsit Center.

Upon arrival to the room, I laid down my backpack, washed my face and grabbed a camera to go out ... I rode on a pink motorcycle, Fino, to chill out on the streets of downtown, and parked intermittently to take photos leisurely. But I had a problem about light since it was dawn. So, I push the ISO up to high, but it still did not satisfy me. Hehe This is a great opportunity for me to be born as a Thai people and speak Thai fluently, so I could ask for directions easily. Phrae people all are kind-hearted hI tm really gratefulh The first place I went to worship and made merit to ward off bad luck is Wat Phra That Cho Hae, the well-known and famous temple. It is located on Chohae road, far about 9 km from the downtown. And it is considered to be good luck for me really when the period of my trip was exactly corresponding to Phra That Cho Hae Festival, held during 9-15 March 2014 (9th evening of the waxing moon to 15th evening of the waxing moon of the 4th lunar month). So, I enjoyed photographing though that day ... LOL. The special interesting thing at here is Phra That of vYear of the Tigerw built in twelve-indented corners, padded with light-yellow color gold, 33 meters, with squared base, 11 meters wide, in Chiang Saen style. Inside, it contains sacred hair relic of Buddha at the left elbow. There is also Phra Chao Than Jai, a Buddha image built and completed in one day, so it is called by the villagers vPhra Chao Than Jai (Instant Lord)w. In additions, there are also sacred things to be worshiped by Phrae people, such as Luang Phor Cho Hae, Phra Chao Than Jai, Phra Nak Prok, Phra Chao Phra Non, Phra Sam Phi Nong, etc. This is the first one I came to make a merit together with touring ... What a happy day. ª´ ®n ¸Ê ¤¸ ·É ¸É n µ Ä Á } ¡· Á «¬ º ° ¡¦³ µ » ¦³ ¶ e ´ ¬´ ¦ v e µ¨w ¦  Á®¨¸¥É ¤¥n°¤»¤Å¤o · ° » ªo ¥ ° ° ª ¼ 33 Á¤ ¦ µ ¸ÁÉ ®¨¸¥É ¤ ªoµ oµ ¨³ 11 Á¤ ¦ «·¨ ³Â Á ¸¥  £µ¥Ä ¦¦ »¡¦³Á « µ » ¡¸É ¦³«° oµ¥ ¨³¥´ ¤¸¡¦³Á oµ ´ Ä Á } ¡¦³¡» ¦¼ ¸É ¦oµ ¹ Ê Â¨³Á¦È £µ¥Ä ª´ Á ¸¥ª ¹ ¤¸ °ºÉ Á¦¸¥ µ¤ ¦³µ µª oµ ªnµ v¡¦³Á oµ ´ Ä w ° µ ¸¥Ê ´ ¤¸ ·É «´ ·Í · · Í Á¸É } ¸ÁÉ µ¦¡ ´ µ¦³ ° µªÂ¡¦n Á n ®¨ª ¡n° n°Â± ¡¦³Á oµ ´ Ä ¡¦³ µ ¦ ¡¦³Á oµ¡¦³ ° ¡¦³µ¤¡¸É o° Á } o º°Á } ª´ ¦ ¸É ¤Å o¤µ ¶ » ¨³Å oÁ ¸¥É ªÅ Ä ´ª... ¤¸ ªµ¤» ¦· Ç ¦´ ... ° °

Letus continue at vWat Phra That Chom Chaengw located at Ban Krai, Cho Hae Sub-district, not far from the previous place much. It is a golden pagoda, 29 meters high, and 10 meters wide at base. Inside, it contains sacred hair relic of Buddh. It is surrounded by concrete walls and has arches at all four directions. The pagoda is similar to Phra That Cho Hae, as a Bagan pagoda built in twelveindented corners, in Chiang Saen style, padded gold wholly. At the front of the north, it is enshrined with a large Buddha image in blessing posture, standing indoors on lotus base. Next on the top, it is a beautiful rear temple in Lanna style. At the front of the pagoda, it is a service point of flowers, joss sticks, and candle. Really comfortable this merit making makes ... So full with virtue. Finally, we visited at vWat Phra That Luang Chai Chang Khamw located in Kham Lue road. There is a pagoda in Chiang Saen style, where the Buddha relics brought from Hongsawadee city is enshrined. And there is also Wihan Luang Phol Nakhon, an ancient temple built along with Phrae city, where a significant Buddha image, Phra Chao Saen Luang, built by a ruler in B.E.2057 (1514), and Phrae Museum, a place gathering many ancient Buddha images the age of nearly 500 years and artifacts of Phrae city. This time I did not regret ... to make merit in this temple. vWhere there is a will, there is a wayw Today, as I made merit at all temples of Wat Phra That fully, I was really delighted immediately LOL. In the evening, as we had enough time, we visited A.S. Hari Singh ... it is a commercial building in Sino - Portuguese style, located in a project vRestoration of Phare City to be Livable and Jollyw of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna ... It is a traditional masonry buildings with bearing wall structure. At the front of the lower floor, it is for trading purpose. There is an open space at the center of the building for washing, well and it connects to the house kitchen. Upstairs, it is a wooden floor, partitioned for staying ... At the front of the building, it is decorated with arch structure ... At here there are so many views to take photos to satisfy us. So, we took photos leisurely because it is not far from my accommodation h ´ µÁ®È ¦· Ç ¦´ 555+ ¥µ¤Á¥È Ç ¡°¤¸Áª¨µ ¹ ª³Å ¸¦É µo Á°. Á°. ±µ¦¸ · ®r ... San Kamphaeng Hot Spring is located in San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai, away from the city about 34 kilometers. It is a famous hot spring well known for long period, together with tourism of Chiang Mia as well. The front entrance is a spacious parking area. There are kiosks serving several drinks and foods, especially various kinds of eggs. Along the entrance to the hot springs, there are also many row houses selling souvenirs and best products of San Kamphaeng, including Lanna fabric, Bo Sang umbrellas, household decors, herbs, processed foods, pottery, wood carvings, and a lot of others, that we can see and choose to buy as souvenirs back home. Each is a quality product from the folk wisdom which is commendable. Next to the building of souvenirs, it is a garden of flowers arranged beautifully, varying according to seasons. Throughout the walkway to the hot springs is filled with woods. There is a mineral stream meandering from the hot spring at the top. Both sides of the hot stream, around 2 meters wide, with water temperature ranging from hot to warm, are
