Concept To produce a "go-to" website for current fashion students and recent fashion graduates in order to help them organise and hold their own editorial photoshoots.

The website will be filled with advice and tips, interesting locations, models they can hire and other useful information so that the students can use this site as a source of information.

Every other week the website will change between different photographers, designers and stylists so that the readers will be constantly updated with fresh ideas and advice to go by.

When a new 'artist' is used on the website, a blog page will slowly fill with the advice, tips, locations and inspiration from the previous artists used so that the students can refer back to the previous information in the future.

Everything on the website is made to be accessable for students - for example the models will be cheap/free to hire and locations will be relevant to certain areas of the UK.

Websites__ The websites follow a very simple 2 column grid for the layout.

Each page of the website follows a similar layout, that is tweaked slightly for functionality purposes (for example, trying to get the header onto one line, instead of two lines!)

Images__ The images are laid out in a variety of ways. Across the about, locations and advice pages, the image has been placed on the left hand side of the page. However, the image is spread across the full page on the homepage, and several images are used for the models page - you can scroll across the page and view all the models.

Devices__ The layout across portable devices, such as phones and tablets will be a lot more simple than the layout used for computer screens. It will consist of larger, full bleed images and swipe across actions to view more information about each page.

Websites__ The websites would run the same across all computer platforms when loaded.

Tablets and phones will obviously load differently. I have proposed how they could look in the above image of the iPad. The images could fill the page, and you could swipe across for information.

Apps__ I have considered proposing an app that could link to this website.

The app would be a simplified version of the website - with updated advice, locations, models and inspiration etc. The app will follow the same design aesthetics as the websites - I would need to create a logo for the icon for tablets and phones..

Websites__ The websites need to be simplistic and functional, as the target audience are interested in finding the information they need and aren't interested in using a fancy or flashy site. I thought that using a minimal colour scheme will help emphasise the beauty in the photos portrayed.

Models Page__ I haven't coded this page yet, so have created a mock-up of how it could look on InDesign. The idea is that you will scroll horizontally across many different black and white photos of models you could hire for the shoot, and when you hover over a model, their information pops up over the top of their photo.

Jack Alexander__ Another photographer that I looked at was Jack Alexander, so I quickly changed the images in the original coding to show how the website could look when using another photographer or designer.

The plan is that the website will alternate between various photographers, fashion designers and stylists so that the readers can Roxxie Blackham

come back to the page and view a variety of different ideas and gain inspiration for all sorts of photoshoots. This would change every two weeks, with an added page to the website where you can find all the previous photos used from previous weeks.

I think the home page works really well with Jack's photo, as it is similar to the photo I chose from Victoria Cadisch's work.

Models Page__ The models page will stay the same, but new models could be added through the ongoing weeks, as there are always new models being scouted!
