Extremely rare vintage matte-finish 9.25 x 6.5 photo of the Central-West Jazz Orchestra in April 1929, boldly signed and inscribed at center in fountain pen, “To Joey: My best—Bix Biederbecke.” Affixed to a 10.5 x 7.5 mount and in fine condition. Incredibly rare Ray Charles signed photograph from the collection of a BBC Radio 2 exec 4157. Ray Charles Signed Photograph. Exceedingly rare vintage glossy 8 x 10 close-up photo of Charles in his trademark sunglasses, signed in blue ballpoint, “Ray Charles.” In very good to fine condition, with poor ink adhesion, light rippling, loss to the upper right border, multiple small tack holes to the borders (and two to the upper left corner of the image). Accompanied by a letter of provenance stating that it originated from the collection of Derek Mills, an executive of BBC Radio 2.
