- Can you tell our readers a bit about your history, please? S.V.: Volniir was formed in 2016 as a one-man project. After spending time writing and recording demos, I got some session members together to play live & collaborate recording a E.P. In 2017 we released “The Enigma’’ and we played live quite extensively. Once the cycle of “The Enigma’’ was complete, I took some time to reflect and after
a short hiatus, Volniir came back with a new line up and as a fully forged four piece. Since this rebirth we have become stronger in every way. - What bands did you listen to growing up?
my parents music collection, so lots of Queen, Whitesnake, Bee Gees, Def Leppard, Guns n’ Roses and Electric Light Orchestra. I frequently still listen to these bands to this day. I then later branched out into Grunge and Metal once I started exploring music by myself. T u b al - Qayin: As with the others; my music came from my parents, but none of it could be considered “metal”.
