Speakers RUTH METZLER-ARNOLD
President of the Supervisory Board, Switzerland Global Enterprise Formerly a member of the Swiss Federal Council, in which she was a department head (1999 – 2003), she is now a jurist and financial auditor. She is a partner in the consulting firm KLAUS-METZLER-ECKMANN-SPILLMANN (KMES) – strategy, leadership, communication, public relations – a member of the Board of Directors at AXA Winterthur Versicherungen, as well as a member of the board of directors at the Bühler Group, the hospital consortium Appenzell Ausserrhoden and a member of the university council at the University of St. Gallen HSG. Ruth Metzler-Arnold has previously served as a federal councilor (finance director) representing the canton Appenzell Innerrhoden. During her career in the private sector, her positions included five years for Novartis in Paris and Basel (head of investor relations) and eight years for PricewaterhouseCoopers (auditing and consulting)

CEO, Switzerland Global Enterprise Daniel Küng has been the CEO of Switzerland Global Enterprise since 2004, at the Center of Excellence for Internationalization, based in Zurich with regional offices in Lausanne and Lugano. After completing his studies in economics at HSG St. Gallen, Daniel Küng began his career at Mercedes-Benz do Brasil in São Paulo in 1980. In 1982, he was a founding partner of the service company Agrosuisse Lda. Five years later, he moved to Portugal and was among the founders of the Response Group in Lisbon, which specializes in helping foreign companies to establish themselves in Portugal.

President of the Executive Board, Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG As of April 2017, Alexandre Zeller will be a designated member of the Credit Suisse Group AG Executive Board. Before taking on his current position, Alexandre Zeller was the President of the Supervisory Board at the SIX Group AG in Zurich from May 2013 to September 2016. From 2008 to 2012, he worked at HSBC Private Banking EMEA (Suisse) in Geneva, where he held various positions, including CEO, Country Manager Switzerland and Regional CEO Global Private Banking EMEA. From 2002 to 2008, Alexandre Zeller was CEO of Banque Cantonale Vaudoise in Lausanne. From 1987 to 2002, he worked at Credit Suisse in Zurich and in 1999 became a member of the executive committee at Credit Suisse, where he was named CEO Private Banking Switzerland in 2002. Alexandre Zeller began his career at Nestlé in Vevey, where he worked in international operational auditing from 1984 to 1987.
CRISTINA RIESEN
Entrepreneur, start-up mentor and lecturer Cristina Riesen, speaker alumni of TEDxZurich, is a technology enthusiast and active promoter of the global start-up ecosystem. Riesen has an EMScom degree, is a design thinking specialist and has ten years of experience in international communications and global entrepreneurship. Previously a general manager at Evernote EMEA, she was named one of the top 30 digital trailblazers in Switzerland by the “Handelszeitung.”
DR. CHRISTOPH LOOS
CEO, Hilti Corporation Christoph Loos has been a member of the Executive Board since 2007 and has been Chairman since 2014. From 2007 to 2011 he was responsible for finances, personnel, IT and corporate development; since 2011 he has handled emerging markets and energy & industry. He has been with the company since 2001, and began working in corporate development before moving on to build the strategic marketing infrastructure. Starting in 2004, he headed a sales region in Germany, and in 2005 he became a general manager of Hilti Germany.
MONA VETSCH
Anchor, Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) Originally from Thurgau, Mona Vetsch has won her audiencesʼ hearts with her wit, wisdom and charm. Since 2015, the beloved presenter and mother of two has realized multiple “DOK” series for SRF, including the successful series “Auf und Davon Spezial.” Before that time, she spent three years leading discussions on the renowned talk show “CLUB.” Mona Vetsch anchors the morning show on SRF 3. As anchor and editor of this show, she has become one of the most prominent voices of Swiss radio. She also lends a unique character to the radio talk show “Focus.”

THE DECISION
On March 22, 2017, the jury will decide which projects will be in the running for 2017ʼs awards. The finalists will be presented on Switzerland Global Enterpriseʼs website at s-ge.com/exportaward.
THE AWARD CEREMONY
The trophies will be presented on May 18, 2017 by Ruth Metzler-Arnold, President of the Supervisory Board at S-GE, during the Forum for Swiss Foreign Trade. As the main prize, the winner will receive a certificate for services by S-GE in the value of 5,000 Swiss francs.
