“Sarasota/Manatee has long been a coveted spot for international buyers. Its beautiful weather, beaches, and coastline appeal to everyone. The laid-back lifestyle is also attractive for those who enjoy having leisurely dinners at outdoor cafes and watching sunsets. Numerous museums, music venues, ballet, opera, theater, art shows, and the circus stimulate the culturally inclined. Two aquariums, birding sanctuaries, and state parks are abundant for those seeking nature. A state-of-the-art rowing facility, cycling and running trails, and yoga on the beach entice ones who like exercising outdoors. Universities and sporting academies keep both the young and old educated with their varied programming. We are fortunate to have all this in a small city that makes everyone feel at home.” - Carla Rayman Kidd, 2019 Global Business Council Chairman 3
