Stancija Kovačići

Während des Sommers können Gäste auf der im Duft von Lavendel und Rosmarin gebadeten Terrasse, gleich neben dem Kräutergarten, sich wie zu Hause fühlen und es sich im Winter in der gemütlichen Atmosphäre des schön mit Stein und Holz dekorierten Restaurants vor dem Kamin gemütlich machen.

Der Küchenchef Vinko Frlan bereitet seine Speisen immer aus den besten Rohstoffen der Saison zu. Hier serviert er seinen Gästen Produkte, die in der jeweiligen Saison gedeihen und bereitet diese auf kreative und einfache Art zu. Dieses Restaurant bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an Nudelgerichten, auch die mit den berühmten istrischen Trüffeln, dann hausgemachte Ravioli mit mediterranen Kräutern aus eigenem Garten oder Saisonrisotto mit wildem Spargel oder Steinpilzen. Zum Genuss gehört auch das istrische Vieh, Fische aus der Adria, verschiedene Steaks, Bruschetta und erfrischende rohe Fischgerichte. Dies ist ein Ort, wo Gäste immer mit frischen und köstlichen Suppen aus den zur jeweiligen Zeit wachsenden Früchten und Gemüse empfangen werden oder mit auch mit hausgemachter Minestrone. Brot ist hier ebenfalls hausgemacht mit einem Schuss mediterraner Kräuter, gebacken im Restaurant und kommt noch heiß auf dem Tisch.

Frittata mit wildem Spargel, Garnelen und Bärlauch

Braten Sie auf heißem Olivenöl gehackte Frühlingszwiebeln, gerollte Garnelen und Spargelspitzen an. Nach einer Minute fügen Sie Bärlauch hinzu und flambieren alles mit einem Teelöffel Branntwein.

Anschließend geben Sie Eier dazu, würzen mit Salz und rühren vorsichtig um, bis die Mischung schmilzt, aber die Eier müssen cremig bleiben. Richten Sie das Gericht mit gerösteten Schinkenscheiben, Kirschtomaten und Alfalfa Sprossen an.

ZUTATEN • 1 Teelöffel Schnaps • 2 Esslöffel Olivenöl • 3 Eier • 20g Frühlingszwiebeln • Optional: ein Paar Scheiben • 50 g gereinigte Garnelen Schinken, Kirschtomaten und • 30 g wilder Spargel Alfalfa Sprossen • 10 g Bärlauch • Salz

Frittata with wild asparagus, prawns and wild garlic On heated olive oil lightly fry chopped spring onions, cleaned prawns and asparagus tops. After a minute, add the wild garlic, and flambé with a teaspoon of brandy. Then, add beaten eggs, season with salt and gently stir until the mixture melts, but the eggs remain creamy.

Serve decorated with toasted slices of prosciutto, cherry tomatoes and alfalfa sprouts.

Der Wanderweg / The hiking trail

Lovran – Vojak

D

er Weg beginnt im Zentrum von Lovran vor dem Tourismusverband Lovran. Weiter geht es in westlicher Richtung durch die Siedlung Brajdice und über die Treppe, die zur Straße Lovran - Liganj führt. Es geht über die Straße und weiter nach rechts, vorbei an der alten Kirche von Sv. Rok, nach etwa 150 Metern führt der Weg nach Südwesten und am Wegweiser kehrt der Wanderweg zurück nach Westen. Es geht durch die Siedlungen Dindići und Ivulići und die Gegend von Banik bis Kaluže. Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich der Waldweg Marović – Tunnel Učka, der durch den Wald bis Oplovac führt. Hier biegt der Weg am Kreuz nach links ab, geht nach Bojkova, klettert auf die Region Kučina und Stran unterhalb Dečanje und weiter über Laza unter dem Berg Grnjac (850 m) in Richtung Dol, steigt dann leicht an und biegt nach rechts ab zum Berg Poprinjak (900 m). Hier führt der Weg in den Buchenwald und steigt steil wie eine Serpentine zum Pass Vrata an, zwischen Jačmik auf der rechten und Plašćenice auf der linken Seite, vorbei an den Ebenen Veli und Mali Dol. Auf der linken Seite sind die von der Forststraße ausgehenden Jagreviere, die bis zum Pass Sedlo auf 1250 m führen. Am Wegweiser biegt der Weg scharf nach rechts ab und schlängelt durch karstiges Land, rauf auf den Berg Vojak (1396 m) mit Aussichtsturm (1401 m) und Souvenirshop.

Sehenswürdigkeiten auf dieser Route: • Gedenktafel des Königs Friedrich am Anfang der Strecke.

• Kirche Sv. Rok vor der Abzweigung zu den Dörfern Dindić und Ivulići.

• Panoramablick: Ruhestätte auf der Kučina und Sedlo und eine einzigartige Aussicht von der Spitze des Berges Vojak von der westlichen Küste Istriens bis zu den Dolomiten, den Julischen Alpen, den KamnikAlpen und Velebit. An einem klaren Tag erstreckt sich der Blick bis zu 300 km in Richtung des Massivs von Zentralitalien.

he trail begins in the center of Lovran at the Tourist Board of Lovran. It continues in a westerly direction through the Brajdice settlement and the staircase which leads to the road Lovran – Liganj.

Crossing the road and continuing to the right by the old church of St. Rok, after about 150 meters to the southwest, at the signpost the trail turns back to the west. It passes through the settlements Dindići and Ivulići along by the area from Banik to Kaluže.

On the right, there is the forest road Marović - Učka Tunnel through the woods to Oplovac. Here, by the cross, the path turns left, goes to Bojkova, climbing the area of Kučina and Stran under Dečanje, passing over Laza under Grnjac (850 m) to Dol, slightly rising and turning to the right all the way to Poprinjak (900 m). Here the trail enters the beech forest and climbs steeply as a serpentine to the Vrata pass between Jačmik to the right and Plašćenice to the left, passing the Veli and Mali Dol plains, to the left of the hunting grounds, exiting from the forest road and arriving to the Sedlo pass at 1250 m. By the signpost, the trail turns sharply to the right and meandering through a barren land, comes on top of the Vojak (1396 m), where there is a lookout tower (1401 m) and souvenir shop.

Attractions on this trail: • Memorial plaque of king Friedrich at the beginning of the track.

• The church of Sv. Rok before the turn for villages Dindić and Ivulići.

• Panoramic vistas: resting place on the Kučina and Sedlo and a unique vista from the top of Vojak from western coast of Istria to the Dolomites, the Julian Alps, the Kamnik Alps and Velebit. On a clear day, the view extends up to 300 km in the direction of the massif of central Italy.

KIDS’ Corner Kinder haben das Recht zu spielen!

I

n jedem gut organisierten Urlaub, wo auch Kinder mitfahren, muss Spaß sein! Opatija bietet das ganze Jahr über viel Freizeitspaß für Kinder wie Spielzimmer, verschiedene Workshops und Veranstaltungen für unterschiedliche Altersgruppen.

Um unseren jüngsten Gästen die Möglichkeit zu bieten, den besten Platz zum Spielen zu finden, haben die Vereinsmitglieder „Društvo naša djeca“ aus Opatija eine Spielplatzkarte entworfen und im Stadtzentrum ausgestellt, um sie für jedermann leicht zugänglich zu machen.

Heute gibt es in Opatija 31 Kinderspielplätze für verschiedene Altersgruppen, von denen für die jüngsten bis zu den Spielplätzen für die etwas älteren Kinder. Alle Spielplätze befinden sich in der Nähe von Siedlungen, Parks oder Stränden.

In dieser Ausgabe präsentieren wir einen Spielplatz am Strand Ičiči, gedacht für Kinder im Alter von 5-10 Jahren mit vielen Geräten wie Rutschen, Schaukeln, ein Karussell, verschiedene Dschungel-Fitnessgeräten und vielem mehr. Da der Spielplatz auf einem Betonplateau angelegt ist, haben Kinder viel Platz für Fahrrad-, Skateboard- oder Rollerfahren zur Verfügung...

Kinderfreundlicher Strand in Ičići

D

er Strand ist sandig mit betonierten Liegeflächen und liegt direkt im Stadtzentrum von Ičići. Für Kinder und Jugendliche ist dieser Strand besonders geeignet, da es jede Menge Platz zum Spielen gibt und der weitläufige Spielplatz eine Kletterwand, Rutschen und Schaukeln sowie zwei Volleyballplätze bietet.

very well-organized holiday, in which children are involved, must contain fun! Opatija, throughout the whole year, offers plenty of choices for children‘s entertainment such as the playrooms, various workshops and events designed for different age groups.

In order to make it easy for the youngest tourists to find the best place to play, members of the „Društvo naša djeca” (“Our Children Society”) from Opatija have designed and made „The map of playgrounds“ and posted it in the city center in order to be easily accessible for everyone.

Today, in the city of Opatija there are 31 children‘s playgrounds for various ages, from the youngest to the slightly older and skillful. All playgrounds are located near settlements, parks or beaches. In this issue of the magazine we present a playground on the „Ičiči“ beach which is intended for children aged 5-10 years. It includes a variety of devices for enjoying their playtime (slides, swings, carousel, various jungle gym ...). Since the court is located on a concrete plateau, children at their disposal have a large space for a ride with bike, scooter, skates ...

Family beach in Ičići

T

he beach in Ičići is partly sandy and partly concrete, located in the center of this little town. A special feature of the beach is the fact that it is fully adapted for children and has plenty of room to play with a spacious playground with not only the climbing wall for climbing, slides, swings, but also two pitches for volleyball.
