Get ready to “Embrace Possibility” during the 2025 Cookie Season! This thrilling theme is about adventure and discovery, inviting Girl Scouts to dive into a world of endless opportunities. Together, you’ll make new friends, explore exciting challenges, and have a blast selling cookies!
I have some exciting news to share! For the 2025 Cookie Season, we are introducing new and fun cookie incentives, including:
Disney Cruise & Kennedy Space Center Opportunity Drawing
This year, each girl will receive a token for every 500 boxes of cookies she sells and be eligible for an incredible Council-led adventure that will include the Kennedy Space Center and a Disney Cruise! Ten girls and their adult chaperone will be randomly chosen to participate in this extraordinary travel adventure.
Troop Membership Cookie Incentive — Participation in the Girl Scout Cookie Program empowers troops to fully fund their Girl Scout membership dues. Troops can earn a 2026 membership renewal voucher for their participating girls and two leaders by reaching a Troop Combined sale of 5,500 packages during the 2025 Cookie Program.
Cookie Dough — Council will now accept Cookie Dough for Girl Scout Membership Dues! Individual girls can earn enough Cookie Dough through the standard girl reward plan to apply to their membership renewal if they choose. A girl who sells just 300 packages can earn up to $50 in Cookie Dough based on her reward choices.
You’re about to embark on a journey that will give you valuable experiences and skills which will benefit you for years to come! As you dive into this sale, I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you have a fantastic, enriching time.
Embrace every possibility, relish the challenges, and take the time to celebrate your successes along the way! This adventure is all about growth, learning, and having fun. Keep reading to discover all the incentives your Council has in store for you.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Girl Scouting provides opportunities and resources to prepare girls to seek and meet the challenges of an ever-changing society. While we participate in the Girl Scout program we welcome, embrace, appreciate and live our values with others.
We invite every member of Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio to pledge their commitment to the following principles and practice them at all times. We also welcome feedback from my peers as we learn about the various backgrounds in our community.
I will:
WELCOME
• Seek out girls and adults from different backgrounds* and welcome them into my troop/group/activity/pathway.
• Honor both similarities and differences by including girls and adults in Girl Scouting
• Strive to get to know, beyond a surface level, girls and adults from an assortment of backgrounds, interests, talents and skills.
EMBRACE
• Encourage and participate in dialogue that embraces diverse ideas and opinions while continuing to make Girl Scouting a place to prepare for and meet the challenges of an ever-changing society.
• Seek out and include, and reference opinions and information from as many sources and perspectives as possible when planning and making decisions that affect our troop/group/activity/pathway.
• Make sure that Girl Scouting is welcoming to every girl by planning and implementing programs and activities that reflect and celebrate our varied experiences.
APPRECIATE
• Take advantage of opportunities to step outside of our own cultures to experience, learn about and appreciate the world around us.
• By stepping outside of my own culture, identify and practice behaviors that are respectful of all people.
LIVE OUR VALUES
• Think about how I use my personal resources (time, money, talents) and seek to share my resources insituations and places where the values of including and respecting others are welcomed.
• Ensure that our communications (newsletters, announcements and other written materials, such as emails, texts, and electronic and social media) reflect the diversity of our troop, group, activity, and pathway are respectful of all people.

Fun Fact
Did you know?
I Care to Share Spread Joy
with Girl Scout Cookies
What is the I Care to Share Program?
The I Care to Share Program is all about spreading kindness! When customers donate to the I Care to Share Program, Troops have the chance to donate them to support local food banks, first responders, military heroes, and other community partners, who serve our communities with dedication.
During the Cookie Program, girls and their troops collect donations toward Girl Scout Cookies to be donated on a troop, regional or Council level. These donations bring sweet treats to community members and areas and beyond throughout the Riverside and San Bernardino County Areas and beyond.
Why It Matters:
Honor Our Local Heroes
The I Care to Share program has been running for over 15 years. In that time GSSGC has donated over 1,225,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies and 75,000 units of Fall Product to local families, first responders, essential workers throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, not to mention our military personnel around the world! Together, we’re making a huge impact!
A box of cookies is a small but powerful way to say “thank you” to our dedicated first responders and military personnel who put others before themselves every day.
Spread Joy in Our Communities
Donations help food banks and shelters provide sweet treats to families who need it most.
Spread Kindness
A simple act of kindness can make someone’s day. When we donate, we’re sharing love and positivity with others.

Wacky Weather
Our Girl Scouts rise to the challenge when the weather has its plans! That’s why we’re excited to celebrate with the Wacky Weather Contest! Each time this fun contest is activated, post a photo in the Wacky Weather Post, and ten lucky troops will be randomly awarded $100 in I Care to Share donations. Rain, shine, or snow—let’s cheer on the Girl Scouts who keep going strong!
Girl Scout Pride
To run a legal cookie booth, you must wear at least a Girl Scout t-shirt and vest/sash/ smock. But wearing the official uniform shows your pride and represents all Girl Scouts. Each level has a required piece (like a tunic, sash, or vest) to showcase your pins and awards, and you can mix and match from the Official Uniform Apparel collection or the classic pairing of a white t-shirt with khakis or a skirt to complete your look. When you wear your uniform proudly, it gets noticed!
GSSGC cookie teams and staff are giving out this patch to celebrate girls in official uniforms at cookie booths. On the last day of the cookie program, five winning troops—one from each region—will each get $1,000 in I Care to Share donations!
Scooter Barb
Have you spotted Scooter Barb? She’s a longtime Girl Scout alum and a former Camp Azalea Trails camper, and she’s now on the lookout for cookie booths! If she finds you and you’re proudly wearing your sash, vest, smock—or even better, your full uniform—while sharing your troop or personal goals and reciting the Girl Scout Promise, she’ll award you a particular patch! Keep an eye out for Scooter Barb!
Empowering Entrepreneurs
When you wear your Girl Scout uniform at cookie booths, you encourage the girls to do the same! This year, if we spot you in any GSUSA Official Uniform Apparel or navy attire with an official scarf, tie, or vest, you’ll earn a particular patch and a chance to win exciting prizes. Let’s show our Girl Scout pride together!
Walkabout
Show off your achievements by sharing photos of you reaching your personal goals! Five lucky winners—one from each region—will be awarded $250 in I Care to Share donations credited to them! It’s time to celebrate your hard work and dedication. Good luck! The contest runs only during the Contest Period: 1/26 - 2/4/25.

GSSGC Camps
Why Girl Scout Camp?
Girl Scouts is the largest all girl organization and everything we do is designed to create an environment where girls can learn and grow together and become leaders in their daily lives. We strive to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. When girls go to camp, either on their own or with an adult partner, they explore leadership in a new way. At camp girls build life skills, responsibility and healthy habits while developing a deep appreciation for nature. Girl Scout camp provides a caring environment led by trained adults who help girls explore, grow and have fun.
Camp Skyland Ranch
Camp Skyland Ranch is located in the San Jacinto Mountains on the Banning side and is owned and operated by Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council. Skyland Ranch is situated at an elevation of 5000 feet overlooking the Morongo Valley. The sprawling camp setting in this chaparral environment allows many open spaces for campers to find themselves and connect with nature. For over 70 years, thousands of girls have experienced the magic that is Camp Skyland Ranch.
Camp is open to all girls in Kindergarten to 12th grade. Highlights of the camp programs include archery, arts and crafts, nature, horseback riding, camp skills, fencing, games, drama, outdoor recreation, campfires, fun, and more! Just pick the program that is right for you and your camper.
Camp Azalea Trails
Camp Azalea Trails, nestled in scenic San Jacinto Mountains near Idyllwild, CA, offers an unforgettable outdoor experience for Girl Scouts. Owned by the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council, Camp A.T. sits at over 6,400 feet, surrounded by canyons, a peaceful stream, and towering pine trees. Since 1940, thousands of girls have discovered its magic, forming friendships, enjoying adventures, and celebrating beloved camp traditions.
Camp Azalea Trails invites your Girl Scout’s troop to make lasting memories in a safe, supportive environment. Troops can bring their own meals or enjoy delicious options from our kitchen team. With pre-selected activities and dedicated staff, your troop can focus on fun, nature, and confidence-building!
Camp Wi-Wo-Ca
Camp Wi-Wo-Ca is located between Yucaipa and Cherry Valley on an oak-covered parcel in the upper reaches of Wildwood Canyon. The property is easily accessed through the Hidden Meadows community off Wildwood Canyon Road. This almost in-town camp is ideal for day use, training seminars and first-time camping experiences.
American Camp Association (ACA) Accreditation
Camp Skyland Ranch & Camp Azalea Trails are both ACA-accredited. Even if you don’t choose us, choose an ACAAccredited Camp because ACA Accreditation means that your child’s camp cares enough to undergo a thorough (~ 300 standards) review of its operation to ensure compliance with industry and youth development standards. Visit http://www.campparents.org/funsafety to learn more about this and other helpful information.

Wendy Hofmann • Central West
Wendy is always offering to help our region in any way that she can. She has been at bridgings, recognitions, Halloween events, and many others. She always offers her time and gives a lot of herself.
Wendy is continuously making it her mission to help her girls reach their goals by providing them with the knowledge needed to make them happen. Her troop is big on traveling and cookies aren’t always enough to make those dreams happen. Instead of that stopping them, Wendy has taught her troop the art of problem solving to achieve their goals. Mrs. Hofmann is an amazing leader! She always made it a point to include me in troop meetings after I moved to Hawaii.

She always goes out of her way to be inclusive, caring deeply about every girl’s opinions and preferences.
Wendy is the reason our girls have truly had a wonderful experience in Girl Scouting. Her guidance and support throughout the years have helped our girls to grow emotionally and become strong young women. She always goes out of her way to be inclusive and cares deeply about every girl’s individual opinions and preferences.
Lisa Cromwell • High Desert
Lisa Cromwell has always been supportive of fellow leaders and troops. Her commitment to Girl Scouts is shown in her willingness to step in to help out with events, leader meetings, and with other girls. Lisa’s humor and ability to be flexible makes others look to her for advice on leading their troops or for help in other areas.

Lisa has continuously assisted with the High Desert Trunk or Treat for several years by helping secure candy for troops to hand out. Lisa regularly attends service unit meetings, providing valuable advice to other leaders. Lisa has expertly represented the High Desert as a delegate and provided guidance to our newest members. When around other girls, her smile and laughter are infectious, instantly becoming a favorite amongst our Girl Scouts.
She is the go-to leader, from fun to business, she encompasses all the the things that make you want to be a leader. Lisa loves being a Girl Scout leader. She truly wants the Girl Scouts in her troop to succeed. She wants them to do their absolute best all the while enjoying their time as a Girl Scout. She is dedicated to Girls Scouts and volunteers a lot of her free time to GSSGC.
Southwest • Beverly Hansler
Bev goes above and beyond for girls by helping them learn to rely on each other and work together as a team instead of looking to the leaders to do things for them. Bev is a walking example of the Girl Scout Promise and Law for her girls in her troop, sister troop, and the girls attending events she helped with in our region. Bev’s heart of gold is exemplary and is a great example not only for our girls but for our fellow leaders as well.
Lisa has done amazing work to make the world a better place through her Girl Scout troop. Her troop is very active in attending events and doing fun activities such as surf camp. Lisa is always available as her troop’s transportation and helps her troop be leaders all around the Council.
Beverly Hansler • Southwest
Bev goes above and beyond for girls by helping them learn to rely on each other and work together as a team, instead of looking to the leaders to do things for them.
Bev really stepped up this past year to help her troop with their Bronze Award project. She encouraged them to change gears and not give up when their original idea didn’t work out. She helped them research their new plan and put it into action. Bev taught them how to reach out to different organizations and how to work together to accomplish something great. She helped them learn that not everyone will always agree when working on a project, but they can work together to reach a compromise.
Bev did a great job encouraging the girls to use their imaginations and creativity to help them problem solve and come up with ideas. Bev is a walking example of the Girl Scout Promise and Law for her girls in her troop, sister troop, and the girls that attend events she helped out with in our region. Bev’s heart of gold is a great example not only for our girls, but our fellow leaders as well.
Council Leader of the Year
This award is the highest Council adult recognition presented to one leader who has given outstanding service to girls over the period of 5 consecutive years.
Christeen Walker • Central
Christeen continuously goes above and beyond in the experiences she creates for our troop as well as the service unit as a whole. In our troop, we have weekly meetings for every Girl Scout level, all planned and orchestrated by Christeen. She balances badgework with creative tasks and trips led by the girls’ interests, and balances it all so the girls are working at their own level but still interconnected as a troop. For our entire service unit, Christeen hosts regular Journey in a Day events for every level, again putting in countless hours planning and prepping for the events, which always include a great blend of indoor and outdoor activities, self-directed learning as well as guided discussions, journals for the girls to record and reflect on their new knowledge, crafts, games, and fun little trinkets to keep as souvenirs of their experience.
Christeen Walker is very organized, supportive, and thorough. She really leads by example and all her girls lead by example and truly take care of and care for one another. Christeen has been our Cadette leader and decided to go above and beyond this year and take on a Rainbow troop, welcoming all levels with no limit to give all girls an opportunity to be a Girl Scout. She is an inspiration to the troops in her area. Christeen is among the most organized, dependable, and knowledgeable leaders in our Council of Girl Scout policy, program, and philosophy. Christeen has proven to be one of the most enthusiastic, innovative, and accomplished troop leaders I have ever met. Her expertise in not only leading a multi-level troop but also a service unit has been a huge asset that led to many activities being planned not only for the girls in our region, but for the leaders.
Christeen has always been a wealth of knowledge in all things Girl Scouts even before she transferred to GSSGC. Since joining our Council, Christeen has become the leader of the Redlands Service Unit. She is always on top of information put out by Council and anything she doesn’t know, she finds out and gets back to you in a timely manner. She holds meetings every week for her troop and stayed active even through COVID. She encouraged her service unit each month with a different service project idea and gave each troop leader a patch for each project they completed. Christeen continues to be an inspiration and I look forward to seeing many more great things come as a result of her influence.
Christeen believes that every girl deserves to experience Girl Scouting. As Christeen’s troop continues to grow, Christeen believes that if there is a girl wanting to join and she cannot find a troop, then her troop is open to them. Her involvement with her girls and adults surpasses any expectation!

Camp Skyland Ranch
Camp Skyland Ranch offers outdoor experiences designed to cultivate girls’ leadership potential. Through discovering their values and the world around them, connecting in a multicultural environment, and taking meaningful action, girls are empowered to make a difference in their communities. We are dedicated to enhancing the facilities and resources at our 191-acre camp, striving for self-sustainability.
As a premier Girl Scout Camp, Skyland Ranch not only provides fun and challenging activities but also serves as a vital community resource. Over the past academic year, we engaged over 3,500 students from local schools, offering them the opportunity to experience the U.S. Bank Learning Lab which provides programming centered around environmental education. We are thankful for the hard work of the California Conservation Corps, which has improved the safety of Skyland Ranch through extensive tree maintenance.
We are excited to share that, thanks to Congressman Pete Aguilar’s office, our team is advancing with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to begin accessing the funding awarded to us. This support will facilitate vital expansions and updates to Skyland Ranch.
This past spring, we successfully organized a work party focused on the clean-up and refurbishment of Camp Azalea Trails. While we prepare Azalea Trails for future use, the beautiful Camp Wi-Wo-Ca remains available for our troops to explore the outdoors. Many individuals, corporations, and foundations have generously supported our camps over the years, and we invite you to join them in ensuring these invaluable resources are preserved for generations to come. Your support is crucial.

Juliette Gordon Low Society
The Juliette Gordon Low Society is a giving society to honor those who have committed to make planned gifts to Girl Scouts. A planned gift is a future gift through your financial and estate plans; for example, a bequest.
Why join the Juliette Gordon Low Society?
Your planned gift is also your legacy of goodwill that benefits future generations of girls to come. It ensures that Girl Scouts continues to prepare every girl to become a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)TM

The Daisy Society
Before Girl Scouts sail around the world or design their own fashion line, they need to believe they can do it.
Invest in our local Girl Scouts and make those dreams a reality. Then watch as they discover new interests and chase their dreams—with the pride of knowing you helped make it possible.
Your gift will be used to ensure local Girl Scouts gain the skills and confidence needed to accept challenges, overcome obstacles, and become leaders. Plus, every dollar you give stays right here in our community!
Thank you for all you do for the girls in our communities.
