It is not too late to support our outreach program to provide a telescope to every fifth grade student at the Coronado Middle School. This program is funded by our contributions through Public School Tax Credit, a dollar-for-dollar reduction in your Arizona State income tax. To get a donation form, email scovastronomy@gmail.com.

At this stage in our lives, it’s easier to re-examine the past than anticipate the future. Club member Steve Lloyd provides intriguing details in this poetic glimpse into a real or fictional past that both captures and sets loose the reader’s imagination.
My Past the dust of your attic / coated the old / cardboard box before it dissolved / in the shallows its contents / floated / or fell free your red lipstick, / my hairbrush / my gun though my past / was glad to leave / that dark place and rejoin / my present / on the shore
I could not / stoop / to regain / these leftover things
I could not / bend that far / without falling
We plan to resume meeting in person when and if it seems safe, but we will continue to Zoom. Join us.
