Bing Ads Updated Reports to Allow Advertisers to Pull More Data This week Bind Ads made a few updates to reports in the hope of providing a better reporting experience to users with more reliable & actionable insights. Advertisers can now pull reports with new KPI data points like conversion, CPA, and location extension to draw better learnings and help make smarter optimization decisions.

Search Insights with Search Query Data One of the challenges marketers face is to obtain brand related intelligence quickly and easily. Google’s Think Insights Research Study focuses on analysing Search Query Data in order learn specific things about the brand, competitors and the marketplace as a whole. “The bubble chart below gives a snapshot of the competitive search landscape for some top U.S. retailers for 2013. The size of each bubble reflects the relative volume of searches, and the proximity of bubbles reflects the likelihood that brands are co-searched, or searched within the same session. Yahoo on Contextual Search Following on from last week’s news about Yahoo looking into search outside of the alliance again, Marissa Mayer has been speaking about cracking mobile contextual search. Their whole local search results proposition has been enhanced by a partnership with Yelp. This may help integrate more reviews and local recommendations into their search offering. It is not clear whether this is a step towards invigorating Yahoo search results or more towards a personal concierge service like Google Now. In either case, Yahoo are trying to pre-empt and beat Google at the next big thing in Search.
