AMBER Alerts are a simple way to notify members of the public about child abduction and these will now appear on the Bing search page for related queries. This will include any images, dates or vital contact information for members of the public to easily access.

Ice Buckets & World Cups among Google 2014 Top Searches Amongst the top searches on Google in 2014 include Robin Williams, World Cup, Ice Bucket Challenge and Ebola as expected. Last week though, Google released its now annual Zeitgeist video to summarise the year in search and the top trends across the world.

New Google Metric to Track In-store Traffic Last week, Google (US) released a new metric called ‘store visit measurement’, to give advertisers a better understanding of how customers are interacting with their brand. This metric will help advertisers understand how the physical and digital worlds connect for them and which products are driving consumers to visit their stores. While still in in its infancy this feature is set to be rolled out to the US market in coming weeks.
