ISSUE 171 – 13th February 2015 Facebook Tracks Searches outside App Last week, Facebook updated their Privacy Policy to outline changes that mean they will now be tracking activity outside the App itself. This policy changes means that Facebook will be able to gather data of where you have been across the internet, including search engine searches. There is however an opt-out functionality for some parts of the new privacy policy, allowing you to customise how this will impact your personal data.

Bing Ads Auction Insights Rolled Out Globally Bing Ads have now released Auction Insights across all Bings Ads markets, having launched this product initially in USA last Novemeber. Auction Insights will show an advertiser how they are performing compared to other advertisers competing in the same auction as them. The report will be accessible from a keyword, adgroup and campaign level across the selected time range
