Search Lately: Issue 7 POV: The importance of Meta tags with the introduction of the 12 sitelink system was highlighted back in Issue 5 of Search Lately, as it has a growing influence within organic results. The impact that meta description now has within Google+ is as big a warning as possible to ensure they are as up to date and pro active as possible. Dodgy meta tags and meta descriptions could give searchers and Google+ users the wrong impression if they are not up to scratch.
