As part of the construction of Queensland Gas Corporation’s 530km pipeline from the Western Downs to Curtis Island, Sedgman Yeats provided survey teams to assist in the construction of the pipelines’ associated facilities.
This challenging site in an environmentally sensitive area with servicing issues was perfect for Sedgman Yeats to demonstrate our knowledge and experience.
Our surveyors carried out design calculations, earthworks and structure set out, as-constructed and compliance surveys for QGC’s Gas Pipeline Valve and Scraper Stations, Gas Pipeline Booster Compressor Stations and the Gas Pipeline Custody Transfer, Metering and Regulator Station.
The professional survey service provided assisted the client to identify the exact size, shape and contouring of the land, as well as locate the sensitive areas that required environmental compliance. We provided the client with boundary re-instatement, a topographic survey for the production of a detailed DTM for lot design and control stations for construction set out works.
