POPS, WAS AN AMAZING MAN.

Thank you

Thank you

Over the past fifteen years I have grown to love and respect him as a father. I remember with great fondness the two week he spent in Boston February of 2017. I can see him playing with my dog Ace, right now. When he left Ace was so agitated that he began chewing up the furniture. It was an honour to have you as my house guest. He always said to me “Don’t forget Jesus Christ, and give Him all the glory”. I was honoured to be baptized by him on Goodman”s Bay in the spring of 2019. When he slipped and his slipper went floating off in the ocean, I dived under and retrieved it, those standing nearest to him were too afraid to dive. (smile).

On the 9th of November 2019, tears filled my eyes as I watched him walk Josephine up the aisle and placed her hand in mine. I am honoured to be his son in law. I am so honoured to be part of such a great family. Pops you were such a joy to be around. I loved watching you interact with your grandchildren.

I will always remember what Ma said to me, she said “I told my girls, I will feed you, you take care of your Daddy”.

Rest in peace Pops. I will see you when I get to heaven.
