“Spirituality and self-realization are the pillars of my art practice.”

Britt Berg is a self-taught intuitive Swedish painter and an author. She runs a Healthcare center in her home town Falkenberg/ Sweden, where she conducts regular courses in intuitive painting, meditation, toning and also holds lectures on heightened sensitivity. Her book, ‘Yet I Speak’, has her paintings alongside poems, and other stories from her life. “My paintings often show different worlds and different life forms,’ she explains. Her life’s mission is to get people to ‘open up’ because the soul is extensive and limitless.

Her art is inspired by inner realization. Freedom of expression and knowledge are the tools she uses to paint her inner soul emboldened on an empty canvas. She doesn’t make preliminary sketches but allows her creativity to spill on the canvas.

Britt works primarily with acrylics. Blue dominates in her artworks; and sometimes grey cool tones, hence her paintings are serene and mentally calming. The brush strokes either absent or delicate, add to this tranquillity.

Britt is an effervescent, self-motivated, and highly sensitive artist who believes in life’s infinite nature; its endless wealth and its unparalleled opportunities. She aspires to kinder spirituality in others’ lives through her art practice. “When I paint, the entire world vanishes; problems cease to exist; and all there’s left is an unadulterated soul,” confesses the artist.

Burghita Oberholzer

“God is my inspiration. No matter where I am in the garden or field, I am always amazed to see a new freshly painted canvas every day created by God our Heavenly Father.”

Burghita Oberholzer was born in Germiston, a small city in the East Rand region of Gauteng, South Africa. She later moved to a small rural town, Swartruggens in South Africa. Being primarily a farming town, a lot relied on nature and its benevolence. Burghita grew seeing nature at its purest. It is not tall buildings or concrete cities that grace her canvases, but delicate and colourful flowers! Most of Her works are a tribute and portrayal of nature. These paintings display a freshness of direct observation and her love for nature.

And gradually, as Burghita grew in this town, she became very religious and a deep believer in Jesus. She has named these series of paintings,’God’s Creations.’ “He is my inspiration”, she says. “I choose this theme because no matter where I am in the garden or field, I am always amazed to see a new freshly painted canvas every day created by God our Heavenly Father.”

Every canvas she paints is dedicated to God. She feels every paintings she makes was painted by God’s Hand while she remains just a brush in his hand. Her existence as an artist she ascribes to God and feels blessed every day to have been given this talent that she now uses in His service.

Denmark

Cæcilie Kaas Jørgensen

“I wish to express what the essence of nature is for me. Intuition is my strongest tool.”

Danish artist, Cæcilie Kaas Jørgensen grew up in the beech forest of Stevns in Denmark. She was completely in love with these amazing and wonderful artworks of nature, created by evolution and time. “One little stone could tell a story of color, life and form. One little plant could whisper tales of ancient life,” says Cæcilie, her eyes sparkling in wonderment.

Cæcilie is a true artist in a complete sense, she is a widely exhibited ceramist/sculptor, photographer and an illustrator. She graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation.

Cæcilie marvels at the limitlessness of our imagination. In the realm of fantasy, there are no restrictions or boundaries. This is the essence of her art. “Creation is a pure adventure,” she says. “Intuition is my strongest tool.” She approaches each of her artwork with a fresh mind, and essence of nature her inspiration and main muse.

As her artwork progresses, it grows organically. Much like nature, from the inside out. “In the process, I meet an endless road of possibilities. Originality and diversity of nature is the genesis of my work. Strange organic shapes, odd structures and mystical creatures arise from a deep fascination with the wonders of the natural world.”
