MATERIALS • 2 (2, 3, 3) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 191yd/175m) of Sandnes Garn Sisu (wool/nylon) in 8031 Chinos Green (A) • 2 (2, 3, 3) balls 7562 Green (B) • One pair each sizes 2 and 3 (2.75 and 3.25mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge • Stitch holders • Removable stitch markers • Cable needle (cn) • Ten ½"/13mm buttons

GAUGE 28 sts and 36 rows to 4"/10cm over St st using larger needles. Take time to check gauge.

STITCH GLOSSARY 6-st LC Sl next 3 sts to cn and hold to front, k3, k3 from cn.

CABLE PANEL (over 10 sts) Rows 1 and 3 (RS) P2, k6, p2. Row 2 and all WS rows K2, p6, k2.

ONESIE BACK

Left leg With smaller needles and A, cast on 37 (41, 43, 45) sts. Work 4 rows in k1, p1 rib and inc 2 sts evenly across last row—39 (43, 45, 47) sts. Change to larger needles. Beg with a RS row, work in St st (k on RS, p on WS) and inc 1 st at beg of 5th row and then every 4th row 4 (4, 5, 5) times—44 (48, 51, 53) sts. Work even until piece measures 2¾ (3¼, 3¾, 4)"/7 (8, 9.5, 10)cm, end with a WS row. Cut yarn and place sts on holder.

Right leg With smaller needles and A, cast on 37 (41, 43, 45) sts. Work 4 rows in k1, p1 rib and inc 2 sts evenly across last row— 39 (43, 45, 47) sts. Change to larger needles.
