CAMP SAN JOSE STRONG JR.

At Camp San Jose Strong Jr., your child will participate in an unforgettable summer camp! We combine camp traditions with a wide variety of enrichment and educational activities. Children will have the opportunity to create cool art projects, play games and, sing funny songs while ensuring CDC safety measures. Camp has a low staff to child ratio of 2:12 and includes skill building, new friendships, and much more! Campers need to bring water, lunch and sunscreen each day. Each Camp San Jose Strong Jr. session runs for one (1) week. Safety is our main priority and we will continue to follow all Santa Clara County and state of California guidelines. Staff will conduct health screenings and wellness checks with each camper daily. All camp staff and participants will be required to wear face coverings. Monday - Friday 9:00 - 12:00 p.m. Ages 3-5

Go on a fun adventure with us this summer at Almaden Lake Park! Campers will enjoy an outdoor recreation experience filled with science & nature exploration! Camp San Jose Strong: Outdoor Adventures at Emma Prusch Farm Park

Come on down for some good ole outdoor fun on Emma's Farm! Emma Prusch Farm summer camp offers kids a unique opportunity to experience life on the farm. Each day campers will grow and harvest vegetables, play games, create arts & crafts, and best of all will get to help take care of Emma's resident animals! Camp participants must bring their own cold lunch, snacks, drinks, water bottles, and wear comfortable shoes, face mask, and sunscreen everyday. Camp will be located at Emma Prusch Farm Park, and children will be assigned to a smaller group at specific sites within the park.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Health Procedures Groups will be limited to 12 children and 2 staff. Staff will be assigned to a specific group and will not interact with other groups. Groups will not interact with each other throughout the day. We will be asking parents to answer health assessment questions each day confirming their child does not exhibit symptoms of illness before allowing children into the program. A medical isolation space will be established for any child or staff that is feeling ill Parents are required to arrange pickup within one hour of being contacted if their child is not feeling well. Each child will be assigned a seat for the duration of the program and individual art supplies/program materials. Face coverings will be required for all children and staff during program hours

Cleaning Procedures We have increased our cleaning schedule to include cleaning all high touch surfaces throughout the day. Shared equipment will be minimized and will be cleaned between each use. Equipment will be assigned to each specific group and will be sanitized after each use Bathrooms will be wiped down multiple times throughout the day. Hand sanitizer and hand soap will be readily accessible at all times. Children and staff will sanitize their hands when entering the classroom from outside activities, in-between activities, and during drop off/pickup. Gloves will be worn by staff during cleaning, meal times, and anytime deemed necessary for safety.

Program policies are subject to change as new County and State guidelines are updated.
