Q&A

CE: The Bundt Shoppe is… and when did it come to fruition... PR: The Bundt Shoppe is Colorado’s original boutique bakery specializing in gourmet Bundt Cakes. Established in 2007, our first store was nestled within the community of Castle Pines. We were often told the idea of selling “just bundt cakes” was crazy and would never succeed. However, as taste buds were tantalized, word spread through this small suburb and beyond. The Locals quickly adopted us as “their Bundt Cake Store.” We now have a second location in Greenwood Village.

CE: What inspired you to create this company and why now… PR: There’s something to be said about nostalgia…that blast to the past. Feelings of nostalgia can help you identify and hold on to the roots of your life. It helps you know where you came from and guides you into the future. First made popular in the 1950’s and 60’s, the Bundt Cake has become a symbol of Americana. My own childhood is filled with memories of Bundt cakes at almost every family gathering and church potluck dinners. With The Bundt Shoppe, we’ve found a way to pull this simple icon from the past, modernize it for today, all the while inspiring the future.
