Adventure you’re dying to take next year? Either surfing in Costa Rica or driving to Alaska. First three things you do when you wake up? Walk the dogs, feed the dogs, go for a run. A family tradition that carries on each year? Thanksgiving on the beach on Mustang Island, Texas. The weather is usually perfect, the beach is beautiful and the bonfires are fun! Vice you’ll never give up? Cigars. Charity you are most passionate and how has it inspired your own life? Say and think what you will about Lance Armstrong, his greatest legacy is the half billion dollars that the LIVESTRONG Foundation has raised for people dealing with cancer. Over 80% of the money raised goes to programs that directly support cancer survivors and their loved ones. The LIVESTRONG Foundation has directly helped both my wife and me, so we give back through fundraising however and whenever we can. It is inspiring to be around lots of other people that have dealt with, or are dealing with cancer and witness their strength and determination. Share with us details about your home? Our home is comfortable and quiet, we are sort of in the country. We are at the edge of Erie, just a few steps to trails that wind through acres of corn, wheat and hay. We listen to coyotes most nights and see them often while walking in the morning. There are hawks, falcons, and owls to be seen every day. Inside, the house is just the right size for Ann and I and the occasional visit from our daughter Jordan from Seattle. The back patio has a striped umbrella over a great table and lots of little strings of lights for those wonderful summer evenings. We grill and eat outside all year long - sometimes we have to fire up the chiminea to take the chill off. Your go-to dinner spot in Denver? What must we order? Well, it changes often it seems. Currently, it’s Stoic & Genuine in Union Station. Must order, let’s see, raw oysters, the fried oyster sandwich, steamed clams and scallops. Might need to have lunch and dinner to get through all of that.
