EDITOR´S LET te R

DE L L A MACNICHOLAS CO-FOUNDER & EDITOR IN CHIEF

I have been pinching myself since the debut of Smitten Magazine in July. I have also been planning. Planning how to shape Issue 2 and to transition Smitten Magazine from the imagery of southern wedding splendor to weddings that span the global stage. Creating an issue filled with jaw dropping matrimonial inspiration. I find it funny that my title is Editor and Chief. Truthfully, I feel that a title of Chief Curator is more apropos. I love combing the wedding world and finding gorgeous ideas to share. I am thrilled with the newest edition of Smitten Magazine and honored to feature many of the outstanding people who help shape today's wedding industry. Each one contributing to culminate an issue that is as informative as it is stylish. Page after page brims with real weddings inspiration from around the world and stunning tips and ideas for any bride. Not to mention a weekend getaway giveaway for some lucky reader, because every gal needs a few days of relaxation. At Smitten Magazine we love weddings, quite honestly we are a bit obsessed! We are already looking forward to Issue 3. Prepare to be wowed. We have big plans and you will love every single page. Until then, we welcome you to our newest edition of Smitten.

photographed by ELIZABETH MESSINA

It wasn’t just a headpiece. It was a flawlessly fashioned spray of cream feathers and flowers, stunning atop the bride’s pale hair. And it wasn’t just a venue. It was a window-lined room draped from top-to-bottom in white gossamer. And Lauren didn’t just wear a dress — she wore two. As for the photographer? None other than Elizabeth Messina (the groom’s sister!), who captured every moment — the kiss, the walk through the woods, the stolen glances — like only a loved one can. CLAIRE E. KEYS

REASONS TO SELECT

TERRANEA RESORT

1

102-acre oceanfront resort situated along one of the most romantic California coastline settings, just south of Los Angeles. All while boasting a 270-degree view of the azure waters, creating the perfect backdrop for magical memories.

2

Home of The Spa at Terranea, an awardwinning spa experience right on the ocean with couple's rooms, perfect for creating a healthy love affair.

34

.

SEPT / OCT

.

SMITTEN

3

Finding the ideal spot for those romantic moments is not difficult at Terranea as 85 percent of the hotel’s 400 rooms and bungalows have an ocean view, most of the restaurants and bars offer stunning vistas to Catalina Island.

4

Adding heat to the romantic setting are 225 fireplaces and firepits located throughout the property’s spa, restaurants, pools and suites that create cozy nooks for snuggling with loved ones.

5

Hollywood has also had a love affair with Terranea’s location. Many feature films have been shot on the property including Aviator with Leonardo DiCaprio, Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck, Charlie’s Angels with Drew Bar-

rymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz, and most recently, the CW program, Shedding for the Wedding and The Bachelor Wedding of Molly and Jason.

6

Terranea provides the stunning location and it’s easy for everyone to get to with two major airports only 20 minutes away (Los Angeles International and Long Beach airports).

7 The property’s Villas, Casitas and Bungalows

offer spacious, well-appointed homes for those seeking extra flexibility and convenience that can come with a residence. These scenic real estate abodes also offer a unique venue for the smaller gatherings and parties that often accompany romantic celebrations.

8

With 65,000 square feet of indoor space, including the spectacular Catalina Room with its opulent Grand Staircase, and 75,000 square feet of rolling lawns, terraces, gardens, gazebos and event space, Terranea undoubtedly has an ideal location for any romantic occasion.

9

Cielo Pool is an adult only pool offers a hip, happening setting for couples and their guests perched right on the ocean.

10

Also imprinted in the minds of every couple will be the casual elegance and hypnotic California spirit that Terranea and the professional staff exude. Special thanks to Agnelo Fernandez and Jessie Pound of the Terranea Resort

photographed by PAIGE WINN

Strolling through an arboretum, parasol in hand, sky-high, posy pink pumps on foot, Elizabeth was a blushing bride plucked from a storybook — with a twist. Paper lanterns hung from the trees’ branches and daffodils showed the first signs of spring, giving the scene a dreamy, east-meets-west flair. And Elizabeth’s love of whimsy didn’t stop there. Though most would never don a tiara while walking through the woods, this bride couldn’t have it any other way. CLAIRE E. KEYS

Sometimes, color is everything. Stealing from the palette of their Smoky Mountain backdrop, Rebecca and Yates dreamed up their day in shades of soft green, cool blue and dusty rose. And it was everywhere — in the simple bouquets, the blue mason glass, the ribboned chairs, even the old croquet set. But it only got better as the night went on. After the sun dipped behind the farm and guests kept on dancing, the sky turned an especially lustrous shade of midnight blue. CLAIRE E. KEYS

UNDONE, IF NOT BOYISH, ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. “I OFTEN WEAR MY FATHER’S WATCH AND MY BOYFRIEND’S OVERSIZED WHITE SHIRTS. I LOVE THE JUXTAPOSITION OF THE MASCULINE WITH THE FEMININE. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MENSWEAR.” IT’S AN AESTHETIC STEEPED IN PERFECTION — PERFECT FABRIC, PERFECT CUT AND CONTOUR — WHICH TRANSLATES TO BRIDAL QUITE BEAUTIFULLY. BOWEN’S CREATIONS ARE CLASSIC AND CONFIDENT, “MORE GLAMOROUS AND GEARED

TOWARD A FASHION-CONSCIOUS BRIDE,” SHE SAYS. “I’M

ALWAYS GOING FOR MODERN AND UNIQUE. WE DESIGN WITH A SIMPLE PHILOSOPHY: YOUR WEDDING IS A RED CARPET MOMENT.”

But it’s more than just a good shirt that inspires these wedding day confections. “Art is integral to all that I do, from color palettes to textures to silhouettes. Just being in touch with music and art influence my approach to the process. Design is more than making pretty sketches. Fabric and vision often drive new ideas.” In fact, when she’s designing, there’s usually a specific woman in mind — “she’s intriguing, chic, knows fashion and understands how to make an entrance.”

64

Speaking of chic someones who know how to make a wedding day splash, our conversation naturally turns to this year’s (and SMITTEN

century’s) bridal darling, Princess Catherine Middleton. “She captured the imaginations of everyone. I love the fact that she changed into a second dress for the reception. You will definitely see lots more of that trend.” Along with mid-celebration wardrobe changes, Anne predicts many more nods to the Royal Wedding on fall’s runways — sleeves (“back in full force”), sheer illusion backs and continuing reinventions of the lace dress. Curious if Anne is taking any sartorial cues from the Brits, she gracefully deflects the question. “I take pride in being a trendsetter and would hate to give away all of my secrets. Be prepared to be amazed!” But when it comes to advice for real brides shopping for the dress, Anne is a trove of sage words. “Be true to yourself but always stay open-minded. Eat before shopping. And she’s right — “you have already won the real prize and he will be going home with you at the end of the night.” And if you’re really lucky, you’ll score a lifetime supply of oversized white shirts.

Cotton candy! Plinko! A kissing booth! Step right up and leave your adult at the door — this is a big top wedding unlike any other. After marrying at the Salt Lake City Temple, Janelle and Josh invited guests back to their transformed home — a whimsical carnival occasion fully realized. Most fun of all? THE FOUR SEASONS M A U I ,

The sea. The sand. Those clouds. Jacqueline and Corby’s easy, undone ceremony romanced the Hawaiian shoreline like only a Maui wedding can. Because the setting was so striking, decorative touches were kept spare — traditional leis for the wedding party and pink hibiscus petals for guests to toss. With a flower in her hair and he in a simple grey suit, the bride and groom said “I do” before family, friends and, yes, that view. CLAIRE E. KEYS

HOW SOME WEDDINGS SEEM TO HAVE THAT EXTRA LITTLE SOMETHING THAT SETS THEM APART FROM THE OTHERS?

NOT ANYTHING OBVIOUS OR OVERDONE, BUT THAT MAKE YOU LEAVE WITH THE FEELING THAT YOU’VE BEEN A WITNESS TO SOMETHING TRULY UNIQUE? FINALLY, THE SECRET IS REVEALED. TWO WORDS: WEDDING STYLIST. A RELATIVELY NEW BUT GROWING TREND IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY, BRINGING IN A STYLIST TO ASSIST WITH DRESSING THE WEDDING PARTY AND GUIDING THE OVERALL STYLE OF THE WEDDING HAS TAKEN MORE THAN ONE EVENT TO NEW AND AMAZING HEIGHTS. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE EVER IMPORTANT EVENT PLANNER, THE WEDDING STYLIST COLLABORATES AND IS A FACILITATOR OF THE STYLE VISION THAT THE BRIDE AND GROOM HAVE FOR THEIR SPECIAL DAY.

Alexandra Munzel, owner of Alexandra Styles has been kind enough to share her experience and expertise with me about wedding styling. Blessed with exquisite taste as well as good old common sense, Alex began styling as a hobby, helping out friends and family for special events and with wardrobe evaluations. Her career took a turn towards marketing and public relations but she always felt that those fields weren’t an exact fit. She even spent some time as a boutique owner before realizing that styling was really her calling and going out on her own. “My goal is to help everyone put their best foot forward. If you don’t feel good about how you look, then you don’t feel good about yourself. Everyone wants to show the best version of their self, and that’s what I do – I help people grow their confidence through their style.” The wedding day and the events leading up to it are arguably the most important style moments of your life. WHEN PEOPLE LOOK BACK ON THEIR WEDDINGS, “ ALL THEY HAVE ARE THEIR MEMORIES OF THE EVENT, AND THE PHOTOGRAPHY. IF ALL THE DETAILS ARE THERE AND THE BRIDAL PARTY IS INTEGRATED INTO THE DIRECTION OF THE WHOLE EVENT, BOTH THE MEMORIES AND THE PHOTOGRAPHY WILL HAVE CAPTURED THAT COMPLETE LOOK FOREVER.

The wedding styling process with Alexandra begins with a consultation with the bride, to discuss her and her betrothed’s vision both for the wedding and for the engagement photo session. She then begins sourcing clothing, accessories,

shoes etc., to be able to present a complete look to the bride for the wedding party. Alexandra and the bride discuss the proposed options and make any changes as necessary until the look is perfected. Once the selections have been made, the unwanted items are returned, and she gathers the chosen pieces for the entire wedding party. When the ensembles have been completed, each member of the wedding party receives a package with all the accoutrements. All measurements, shoe sizes and body shapes have been taken into consideration, so the only changes that might need to be made would be simple tailoring. The key ingredient of this recipe is that inside the package for the wedding party there is a photograph of the entire collection shown on a model, so each person has a visual of the finished look. Alexandra’s work does not end there though. Wedding day, she is there to ensure that no one’s accessories are crooked and that the overall style of the wedding party meets the expectation of the bride and groom. Her goal is to leave the happy couple with the feeling that when they look back on their special day, they’d do it all over again, just like it was. I was curious how Alexandra navigates the ultra competitive wedding industry but she made sure to be clear that she is not taking any work or creative control away wedding and event planners that she collaborates with; her goal is simply

to enhance the overall style of the wedding. Working with the event planners and to cohesively be part of the team. She firmly believes that there are ways to express the style you want without spending a fortune, because style inspiration comes from all kinds of places, both predictable and unexpected. And, as she pointed out to me, WE ARE IN AN AGE WHERE EVERYONE IS SO “ BUSY, SO CONNECTED, SO ON THE GO. TIME IS MONEY. THE HOURS THAT SOMEONE MIGHT SPEND LOOKING FOR A CERTAIN KIND OF ACCESSORY MAY HAVE BEEN BETTER SPENT WORKING ON SOMETHING ELSE. YOUR TIME IS EXTREMELY VALUABLE, ESPECIALLY WHILE PLANNING A WEDDING!

When I asked Alex about her favorite part of her job, she didn’t hesitate. “It’s the ‘eureka’ moment. The instant you can see the light bulb come on when everyone involves knows what I do, what I bring to the table and that they’ve realized that their vision for the wedding style just came to life.” Eureka, indeed. photographed by KRISTIN VINING

When it comes to the art of mix and match — that dreamy marriage of the old and the new — Nicole and Robert’s wedding may as well be Exhibit A. Held at the Mint Museum, a spare, architectural space home to American, European and contemporary art collections, the reception was dressed in a playful blend of elements — think cool succulents aside deep purple plumes; textural plants potted in antiqued glass. Even the bride’s earrings were an ode to past and present: pearls from her groom, embellished with drops borrowed from her new mother-in-law. CLAIRE E. KEYS

In a quiet patch of grass beneath an awning of trees, Rachelle and Tommy exchanged vows at her parents’ home in scenic Morro Bay. Nods to the sprawling California countryside were everywhere: succulents dotted branch-strung lanterns; baskets and distressed frames evoked western ease; a tablescape of fresh avocadoes and field grass replaced traditional florals. Plus, the fruits doubled as favors — a parting gift that let guests carry the flavors of paradise home. CLAIRE E. KEYS

ALWAYs a

BRIDESMAID... No problem! In the precarious time between the proposal and the “I do,” a girl’s life is rife with decision-making. From color schemes, to cake flavor to time of day, the choices that are necessary to be made seem to come in with a flood of congratulations and “what can I do to help.” Really at the end of the day, all she wants is to kick up her heels, down some champagne and let someone bring the choices to her… and easy choices at that. When Bridget Brown, founder of the smart bridal boutique Bella Bridesmaid, came onto the scene with her bridalplanning-must-stop-shop, girls were in love with the cordially accommodating gown salon. Waves of colors and fabrics wash over you when you enter the doors of any of their 40 national locations. As the sugary-sweet Bella Bridesmaid girls serve you with candor, generosity and a glass of champagne, you, as the bride, will undoubtedly be thinking, “Here is a decision to make that is as easy as picking my groom.”

W H AT WA S T H E I N S P I R AT I O N T H AT S PA R K E D Y O U T O S TA RT BELLA BRIDESMAID? Quite simply I saw the need (for a store like this) and wanted to fill the void. I started researching bridesmaid dress stores across the US and came up blank. I knew there was a niche market with bridesmaids, and it just didn't make sense to me that you'd attempt to choose dresses for your best friends in the same hour appointment that you choose your own wedding dress, which in and of itself is a stressful and confusing, albeit exciting, decision. In my mind, the bridesmaids dresses deserved a separate appointment in it's own right. DID YOU OPEN BELLA BRIDESMAID WITH THE INTENTION TO START A COLLECTION OF STORES ACROSS THE COUNTRY? I get asked this question a lot, and the answer is, sort of. I knew early on that once I figured out the tricks of the trade that I could teach others how to do it. Did I think that in less than 5 years we'd have 40 stores? No way! I'm still amazed by the growth and wake up every day grateful and humbled by what we have created.

DO YOU FORESEE BELLA BRIDESMAID LAUNCHING IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETS? Absolutely! We've begun to research the UK and Canada, and hopefully more to follow. I have daydreams about a future Bella Bridesmaid Paris! AS THE MASTERMIND BEHIND BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS, YOU MUST EAT SLEEP AND BREATHE BRIDESMAIDS. WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR "DOWN TIME"? Down time? What's that? Well, my husband and I love to travel and take every opportunity we can to do so. A huge perk of small business ownership is a flexible schedule (meaning, you can continue to reply to emails at all hours from anywhere). I know I should say I read the classics, take up a new hobby, or garden, but the truth is, I watch way too much reality TV, read way too many bridal and fashion magazines, and spend way too much time online perusing my favorite e-mags and blogs (Rue, Matchbox, Lonny, Apartment 34, Sacramento Street, Snippet and Ink). I love Pilates for de-stressing and de-compressing and walking my pup, Presley, with my husband on the waterfront here in Sausalito where we live and work. WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THE WAY OF TRENDS FOR FALL 2011? We're still seeing lots of long flowy chiffon gowns and jewel tones. Ombre has been huge — each maid wearing a shade of one color. Details still reign supreme, whether that's a pleated neckline, ruffled collar, or ruched waistband. We're also seeing a return to the ladylike dress, for instance nateau necklines with full party skirts and nipped in waists. Mad Men inspired perhaps?

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHANGE IN THE BRIDAL INDUSTRY NOW AND WHEN YOU STARTED BELLA BRIDESMAID? There are so many amazing options out there now for chic bridesmaids. When I started the business 11 years ago, there were a handful of designers in the bridesmaid sector that were trailblazers such as Thread, who still continue to inspire us with their modern and fashionable collections year after year. We now have designers such as Project Runway's Carol Hannah venturing into the maids arena and introducing fabulously chic alternatives to the typical bridesmaid dress. So, there are a ton of options. Of course, wedding blogs and Twitter are also the biggest change for the bridal world from 10 years ago. It’s now an every day task to stay on top of all of the amazing real weddings of brides who bought dresses from Bella Bridesmaid, and feature those on our Facebook and Twitter feeds to inspire and excite future brides.

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU YOURSELF BEEN A BRIDESMAID? Three times. Once right out of college and unfortunately for my friend Jennifer, the bride, it was the early 90's. Peach taffeta and big hair was all the rage. The second time I was a bridesmaid was for my friend Amy’s wedding when I was in law school. I wore a lovely deep burgundy full-length dress but I'm pretty sure we wore white gloves, which I fully supported at the time by the way. Lastly, I was in my sister Meghan's wedding 4 years ago. Of course the dresses were fabulous because yours truly chose them. WHAT IS ONE WORD OF ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE TO ALL OF THE FUTURE AND CURRENT BRIDESMAIDS OUT THERE? When you agree to stand up in your friend's wedding, you have really kind of given up the right to speak openly and freely regarding her decision on the bridesmaids’ dresses! Sorry ladies, but on this one I agree with the bride: whatever she wants you to wear, wear it proudly and confidently with a smile on your face. In the famous words of Tim Gunn..."Make it work!” WHAT WOULD YOU TELL ALL THE BRIDES? Choose a color you love for the dresses. You probably won't change your mind on a color you’ve always loved, and most likely it’s a color you look good wearing, so you’ll look fabulous in photos surrounded by it! It’s best to give your friends some parameters instead of saying “choose anything you like in navy.”

We find that the maids just want to make you happy, and it’s difficult to read your mind, so they much prefer being told, choose from these 3 styles in a particular color and fabric. It is a much less painful of a process, and they get a choice in what they are wearing so they can't complain! WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST STORY YOU'VE EVER HAD HAPPEN TO YOU WHEN WORKING WITH A BRIDE AND HER BRIDESMAIDS? In my first year of business in San Francisco, we had a wedding party that had booked an appointment on a Saturday and asked if they could have the space to themselves and bring champagne to celebrate. They were all in town for the bride’s engagement party later that night. I guess they assigned the task of champagne to one of the bridesmaids who perhaps was not the most responsible of the group, because she showed up 15 minutes late to the appointment wearing last night’s clothes and carrying a 6 pack of Bud Light (in cans) instead of a bottle of Veuve Cliquot. The other bridesmaids were clearly furious, but no one wanted to ruin the day, so they politely and awkwardly sipped their Bud Light as they tried on full-length black satin gowns. The tension was palpable!

OH MY GOSH! THAT IS HYSTERICAL! WHAT DO YOU SEE FOR THE FUTURE OF BELLA BRIDESMAID?

YOU´VE GOT TO STAY AHEAD OF THE GAME AND CONSTANTLY THINK, “WHAT CAN I DO BETTER?”

PHOTOGRAPHY Nick Brown Photography

We’d love to have a well-known fashion designer venture into a bridesmaids collection and carry the line exclusively in our stores. Milly, Trina Turk, DVF.... call me! WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO OWN YOUR OWN BUSINESS IN SUCH A BOOMING INDUSTRY WHERE THERE IS LOADS OF COMPETITION? You’ve got to stay ahead of the game and constantly think, "what can I do better?” It’s good to be aware of your competitors but not consumed by it. I’m a big believer in karma. What you put out there is going to come back to you, so make sure it’s positive and inspiring. This is such an incredibly creative industry with amazingly talented people and it’s smart to engage and befriend other industry people that you look up to. There’s always someone to learn from! HER ZOG WINERY

photographed by FER JUARISTI

The bride wore boots. Her husband’s sable brown, farm-worn Clarks to be exact. And the groom wore jeans — “just some Levi’s and a waistcoat bought and altered by Sam’s mother,” Mary recalls. Tucked away in an enchanting, too-green-to-be-true vineyard in New Zealand, the bride designed a day as personal as it was beautiful. Confections and florals were created by her mom; the menus and programs scribed by the groom. And her own jewels? A “DIY necklace” and her great-grandmother’s vintage bracelet, which, for the record, absolutely went with the boots. CLAIRE E. KEYS

JARNIOUX, FRANCE

photographed by K Y L E H E P P LY O N

It’s home to centuries-old cathedrals, world-class museums and rolling French hills, so when it came time to plan a day of old world romance, Virginie and Pierre instantly decided on Lyon, a charming city in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. With something blue on her feet, the bride exchanged promises with her groom in a field ringed by historic villas and farms. But before their reception could begin nearby, the couple insisted on their own celebration — dancing their way through the center of town. CLAIRE E. KEYS

CHOOSING FALL

FLOWERS

As the seasons change, we see a shift in the types of flowers used in weddings. The shift mimics what naturally occurs outdoors. We see one last dance of vibrant hues before the leaves fall off the trees and plants prepare to go dormant for winter. Not surprisingly, all of that is echoed in wedding florals. Early Fall brings some richer yellow and pinky-orange tones (think Indian Summer), later typically more reds, burgundy, and orange.

DAHLIAS AND ZINNIAS These two fall favorites come in a rainbow of colors- dahlias are fall's answer to spring's peony– giving that lovely multi-petaled look in a ruffly end-of-summer texture.

HERBS & DRIED MATERIALS Rosemary, Basil that's been left to flower, and dried Lavender- all are fabulously textured and will add a scent to your wedding. Branches, berries and dried ingredients are popular in late fall arrangements- cotton pods and bittersweet are gorgeous and unique wedding materials.

CALLA LILIES Therse are another hearty favorite that make an appearance this time of year and they are available in a variety of rich fall tones. Embrace the seasonality of flowers. Not only will your dollar stretch further, you will end up with better-looking products (ones that haven't had to travel the globe six times before making it into your bouquet!). An added bonus? It will be much easier for your husband to get you anniversary flowers that are reminiscent of your big day!

±inn© &∑ea^ LOWNDES GROVE SOUTH CAROLINA

photographed by RED SHUTTER details by R Y A N L E V I

Talk about sweet southern ease — from the plantation’s canary yellow stairwell to the soda shop drinking straws that rest in every cocktail, Ginny and Sean’s South Carolina wedding was darling down to the last detail. After the ceremony, guests were beckoned to the lawn where they could sit and stay a while. Daybeds brimmed with pillows in soft shades and traditional, oversized coffee tables were perfect for resting highballs — and maybe even tired feet. CLAIRE E. KEYS

IDEAS

DIY PAINT CHIP CHANDELIER

By

RHIANNON BANDA

of Hey Gorgeous Events Photographed by Jenna Mckenzie 242

Step 1 To start, you will need 40-60 paint swatches. For this project, I selected a variety of blush, pink and red hues to achieve an ombre chandelier. Using a scalloped paper punch, punch the swatches into little medallions. Keep the medallions divided by colours in little saucers or cups like below.

Step 2 Next, you will need a lamp shade as the chandelier base. This lamp shade was purchased from Lowes for about $5. When picking out a lamp shade I tried to pick out one where the bottom diameter was much smaller than the top. This will allow your layers of paint swatch medallions overlap slightly and create a beautiful final product. Next, I removed the fabric of the lamp shade by using an Exacto knife and super sharp metal scissors I carefully cut apart the fabric lamp shade, peeling away the pieces until the metal parts were as exposed as possible.

Step 3 Lay out your paint medallions, coloured side down, in the desired order. Tape down a long piece of coloured thread along the middle of the backs of each medallion. Then using a piece of tape, cut down the center width wise, tape together the edges where one medallion meets the next. Without this final piece of tape, the medallions will rotate on their piece of thread, thus showing the bar codes, text and colour names usually located on the backs of the paint swatches. Repeat this step until all of your chandelier strands are strung and taped together.

Step 4 Flip your lamp shade upside down and fasten it somewhere where it can hang freely. Start stringing on your strands along the perimeter of the bottom of the chandelier until the entire metal base is covered. Then start stringing strands along the widest ‘top’ of your chandelier so that the lowest part of your strand hits the mid point of the bottom layer. Continue this all the way around until the entire chandelier is covered. Add a ribbon to the metal pieces (where the light bulb would pop in) and voila! You’re ready to hang this beauty!
