Adobe project magzine My name is Bailey Allred and I am an adobe certified proffesional and these are my favorite Photoshop and Illustrator projects.

This was my last Photoshop project and I thimk it was my favorite project of the class because it was very simple but fun at the same time and it made me exccited for class. This was one of my favorite projects because it was a subject that I like, superheroes are my favorite thing to read, write about and they are my favorite movies.

This was my very fist project of the class and it was a very fun project and it let me learn how to use photoshop. This project was fun because we got to type whatever we wanted.This was a very fun project because we got to make it look like we did something bad but it was really cool to see us on a wanted poster.

This was my final project of the class and it was my favorite Illustrator project because we got to decide what the design was and we got to buy the design on a T-shirt. This was one of my favorite projects because it was very unique becuase we had to picture what it looked like on a T-shirt and it came out looking really good and I really liked the freedom we had on this project.

Semester of Spillman Wanted Poster

I began this project by choosing a background where I could use two different colors that had an organized color scheme and representation. Once I found the background and colors I wanted to use, I then listed out all the information that I was going to put onto my wanted poster. After that I decided what information was the most important when being listed, and what information was the least important. This helped me determine what font size I should use for what pieces of information based on their importance. I then tried to decide what font color would be visually pleasing with the background, and then where to put all the information. After all of those components were inserted, my design was complete.

Valiant Cover First I began by drawing my scamp for the image on a separate piece of paper. Once that was complete, I then got on Photoshop and began the coloring process of the actual image that I would be using. I made the main colors of Ninja-K black and purple. Once I finished the coloring process of the character I then I began to color other parts of the image such as the ground, and adding a pink gradient to the background of the image. Once all the coloring and background colors were complete I added my other assets such as the barcode, price, title, Valiant logo, and creator names to the image. Finally the last piece of my design was to add drop shadows to my title to make it more appealing.

T-Shirt Design To begin my T-Shirt design I first decided what I wanted to put on my design then I began to draw a scamp for the design. I also added in the scamp where I wanted all my text to be placed on the image. Then went into Illustrator and used anchor points, lines, and curves the create my drawing and then filled each section with the designed colors to make it look as lifelike as possible. I then decided to add Hornet wings to the back to represent the team he plays for. Finally I rounded off my project by adding text such as stats, his name, and other related text.

I started off this project by inserting the picture of myself into the middle of the page. I then chose that I was gonna blend the picture of me with a picture of nature that I found on the internet. Once I completed the blending of the two images I decided the add effect to it being the main focal point by adding black rectangles around the image to exemplify the main image. I then added a flame frame to add effect and finally finished by using the pen tool to sign my name at the bottom right of the page.

Valiant Cover Project The Valiant Design Cover project was a way for me to flex my artistic ability by applying my mastery of the brush tool and image effects to make an appealing cover. I started out with a scamp and then traced inside the lines of the picture with the brush tool.

This is our last project. This is T-Shirt project and it was fun and exciting. We had to make up our design for the t-shirt project. So I choose the school logo but mixed it up so its not copyright. basics for for the tools in Ai and learned some techniques concerning how to utilize those tools. But trying your best is the key goal and being creative to make your own stuff. "My personal ambition remains the same - to be creative, to be modern, to stay one step ahead, to enjoy life."

This is our 3rd project that we did.Using the selection and brush tools, you will colorize the linework. We picked out the charater to color in to look really good. It took us some time to finish because we had to add the logo to the comic to look like its comic book. It was fun but took lots of time to do it. Also we had to make it look really good to be tangible.

Aiden's Adobe portfolio with this project it was very difficult because I had to make sure that the project wasn't getting the wrong color in the places that don't need it. for this project I used adobe photoshop. I had to use the lasso tool a lot. this was one of my favorite projects because its on a character I really enjoy reading about.

for this project first I had to take a picture of myself and paste it onto the document I was using for this project. next I had to find a picture to put it with the picture. I over lapped it and then I turned down the opacity. for this project I had to make a lot of objects to put it with my background. for this project I used adobe photoshop.

for this project i had to find a picture of Zues and I had to image trace him and make it look like he was holding the thunder bolt. for this project I used adobe illustrator.i had to copy and paste a lot of clouds. I also had to have four artboards.

for the wanted poster it was very different because instead of am making it we had to find information we can use. for the wanted poster we used canva. It was also a lot of fun because we got to learn what a wanted poster looks like.

Hello and welcome to my Adobe Visual Design Project Showcase! My name is Titus Cobbler and all of these projects were created during my Adobe Visual Design class the final semester of my senior year of high school. As you look through all of my designs, you might notice how I tend to gravitate towards simple, minimalistic designs, which over time I have learned to be my personal preference for designs. Something else you might notice is how my work progressively gets better (at least in my opinion) as the semester progresses, which is evidence of my increasing knowledge during my class. While my designs might not be perfect, or even the best ones in my class, they are mine and they show my progression throughout this class.

The first project we worked on during this class was a wanted poster, which was created using Adobe Express. We created our wanted posters through Adobe Express as a way to introduce us to the Adobe programs and some of the functions we could utilize on them. It definitely frustrated me trying to do my best on this project using Express, since you do not have as much freedom as the other programs. When designing this poster, I thought about making it look like an old western wanted poster, which guided me to the background I used for it and the shapes I used. For the first project of the semester, I think I did alright, but I could have done better on some areas, and I consider this design to be my weakest one of the semester.

We started our first official project after we finished learning Photoshop, which involved us utilizing blend modes on an image of ourselves and a landscape. When designing this project, I wanted to incorporate my preference for natural and neutral colors, which I think I did well. I also had to consider incorporating a shape, which I used to frame my outline. Overall. I did not dislike this project, but it was definitely my least favorite of the big three we designed. Our third project involved us colorizing an outline of a Valiant Comics character with Photoshop and designing a cover with that colorized character. When designing this project, I had in mind my assigned Valiant character being set in front of a circle that utilized the red consistently used throughout, while still remaining as a simple and minimalistic design. Now that I understand the software and design more, I see my imperfections, but I still really enjoyed this project. It ended up being my best and favorite one. Last but not least we have my t-shirt design created with Illustrator. This project involved us utilizing the pen tool to create the main elements of the design and using an outside image to frame the design. When designing this project, I really wanted to incorporate my liking of mountains and a natural themed color scheme, which is show clearly throughout the design. As with everything I designed, I had to consider using every element in the design meaningfully and in an appealing way. While this was not my favorite project, I still enjoyed it.

The Projects of Skylar Cox Wanted Poster Project

The first real project I did. The wanted poster itself was easy to think of, especially with the light shining down on me. I used a black and yellow scheme with different shades. The text and the ideas were something to add on to my friends project, and to make it a whole story.

Valiant Cover Scamp The scamp always changes in your final design, for this cover it changed a lot, mostly the logo and the places where I put everything. The font I was sure on, the only thing I changed in the title was the hyphen or dash.

The coloring was simple, to the point where I knew what colors I wanted and needed. I used purple because of the inspiration from the actual comic covers. The shading was the harder part and the logo design. I kind of hurried with the logo.

Blend Mode Project

For this project I had to use a picture of me and blend it into with an image of my choice, I used a neon city picture because I always liked how they look. I used a hot pink sort of color I really liked for the background and added a circle to help with emphasis.

T-Shirt Design Scamp

The decisions I made for this project changed a lot, I didn't originally want the cape to go all the way around, but it did help with the finished product. The font was really an afterthought that I didn't really know what to do with.

The final design for the t-shirt project was really complicated for me, I didn't know how I wanted to finish the cape, it still doesn't fit the crescent shape I wanted, but I still used it. I changed the font to a more simple design with the moon as a full idea to use for most objects in this project.

About me

My name is Skylar Cox, I'm a Highschool student at Oak Grove Highschool. These are my designs I have made with Photoshop and Illustrator, I enjoy them and hope you do too.

For the Wanted Poster project (right), I wanted to go with a traditional, western-looking wanted poster, while putting my own spin on it. While keeping the layout simple, I decided to go with an analogous color scheme with purples and pinks instead of the classic browns and beiges in most posters. On top of that, I added lots of stars to give the design more unity. I couldn't decide what crime to go with for a while, and once I decided on "spontaneous puncher", I continued the Karate Kid theme throughout the rest of the poster, because why not? Also, I made the reward the exact total of a toasted footlong with turkey, bacon, provolone, and lettuce on flatbread at Subway, because once again, why not?

For the Blend Mode project (below), I decided to continue the trend of the purple/pink projects. In order to do this project, I took a picture of myself and brought it into Photoshop. Then, I found a picture of lightning and placed it on top of my picture, then put on a blend mode and lowered the opacity. After adding a few filters and some other finishing touches, the lightning started to remind me of David Bowie. In order to show his influence, I added his iconic Aladdin Sane lightning bolt, and changed the colors to match my project.

My name is Delana Gibson. As you can probably tell by the picture of me on the right, I've always been a little spunky, with a deep passion for all things artistic. Whether it's Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night or just something that catches my eye at a given time, I've learned to find beauty in everything, and try to incorperate this beauty anywhere I can, whenever possible.

Along with this, I have a very vintage taste - from my music choices to my fashion sense - and I usually let this influence the things that I create.

Designing is all about trusting the process. With every design, I start with a scamp, which is a rough sketch of my plans for the design, labelling the colors and fonts I plan on using. Unlike the Valiant Cover, I had to create my own linework for the T-shirt Design Project (left middle). To do this, I opened up Adobe Illustrator and used the pen tool to trace my scamp. Once I had my linework down, I colored it in using the pen and brush tools. Then, I added text and additional vector assets (sparkles) to spice the design up.

With the Valiant Cover (left bottom), the linework was given to me, and I went into Photoshop and began the colorization process, mostly just using the brush tool. I designed my own version of the Valiant and Punk Mambo logos in Photoshop, then added them to the design and finished up. Valiant Cover Final

Magazine Magazine Mushrooming Mushrooming During this stage of the project, I was tasked with drawing a "rough draft" of my idea. Which was pretty simple but complex, the idea was there, but the drawing aspect of it was the hard part. I struggled to draw the body of the character.

I started the tracing/coloring process; I used many different tools/colors in Photoshop to complete this task. Like an eyedropper tool. This tool allowed me to sample colors from the original design so I could use almost the same colors. The other tool I used was the brush tool, which helped me through most of the project.

We were tasked with creating a "Wanted" poster about ourselves. As seen on the right, I used many different font sizes, colors, and icons to make my final design. I also included a "Mug Shot" or just a picture of myself to represent the mug shot. Overall this project was pretty simple. It didn't take much time to complete; the most challenging part was setting the background and finding/creating the elements.

During this phase of the T-Shirt design, I added many different elements and icons throughout the procedure. I used a picture of thrones around the spears. I used the pen tool to create the spears and used the pen tool to create the Spartan Helmet. I used custom fonts to make the text. I used custom fonts because the text was not 100% English.

This was the "Blend mode Project" For this project; we were tasked with taking a personal photo of ourselves and merging or blending it with another image. We used many different tools to help us with this task. The key was to have a background image come through the selfie. We used healing brush tools, spot brush tools, and many more. And for my design, I added icons I felt went along with the Jungle tree background.

Wanted Poster I made a wanted poster of myself in class, which you can see above. In my poster, I used san serif for my text and included visual hierarchy by repeating the robbers images across the poster. By using multiple colors of brown and varying shades of orange, I created a monochromatic color scheme. I emphasized that I was wanted in the poster by using bold text and photos to show the viewer what the poster's major purpose was.

This is the design for my valiant comics cover. I supplied a sketch of how I wanted the final product to look. I colored Ninja-k's image,and designed a custom logo, and incorporated design elements and principles. I colored the image in Adobe photoshop. Ninja- K is a superhero that appears in comic books that are published by Valiant Comics. | 23

In Adobe Photoshop, I created a small blend mode project. I experimented with several blend modes and forms outside of my design. I experimented with a variety of colors and styles on the design. After deciding which blend modes to use, I applied them to a photograph of myself that I took in class.

My name is Mary Peyton Hodge. I'm fifteen years old. At Oak Grove High School, I am currently a freshman. I play travel softball for the Birmingham Thunderbolts and have had the opportunity to travel and play softball in Florida, California, Colorado, and other interesting locations. T-Shirt Design Project This is my original t-shirt design. I designed a logo to match my travel softball team's logo, which I selfdrew in Adobe Illustrator. Purple, yellow, white, and black were the colors I utilized I made the scamp so that I could plan out what I wanted to put on my tshirt. After making the scamp, I traced it in Adobe Illustrator, then added extra assets and color.

The image uses an optical center arround my face and has important text emphasized using typography. Typography is the art of aranging letters and text in a way that enhances a design composition.

Valiant is a comic book company my visiual design instructor liked. The assignment was to redesign a comic book cover from Valiant. We were allowed to pick superheros and I chose Doctor Mirage, a paranormal investigator who investigates ghosts and has strange ghost powers. I included an ankh symbol in my logo because the ankh represents life after death and immortality.

The advantage of using a vector based software is raster softwares would pixelate on larger sizes. Vector artwork is a collection of lines, shapes, and anchor points. The design process of this was finalized by the addition of lighting bolts; in order to frame the characters.

SpillVille Creations This is my wanted poster. I was instructed to create a fake wanted design using myself. I then took a picture of myself then I gave a detailed description of my characteristics. I also used premade stars to show the old timed look and used a faded brown paper to represent how papers looked back then. I made sure that I made the most important subjects in this design much bigger in the design to create the contrast so the consumer knows that this is a major part on the paper. This is my Blend mode mini project. I was instructed to blend a nature background with a picture of myself. In this project I used photoshop. I made to different layers and then blended them together and made the background of nature blend with my portrait. I enjoyed doing this project because it informs me on many other designs I could make with the blend mode settings. I also used a legacy shape to put in the background such as the women that can be seen running deep in the woods. I also created a green flame to represent fire on the tree.

This is my scamp for my valiant cover design project. I laid out how I wanted the finished product to look like. Then I created the font I wanted for the title and the name of the character.

This is my finished design of my Valiant cover design project. I used the brush tool to fill in all the colors on the page. I also used some shadow effects on other parts of the design to show that the character had shadows surrounding the area he was in.

This design was the hardest out of all of the designs I had to do. This took a lot of time to fill in the color and get the shape of the lion perefect to where it comes out with some contrast.

This took a long time to make because of the coloring I had to put into it and the background was different from the entire project. I had to implement new things into the project. The text fits the theme of the cover.

Demented Goblin Given Access To Adobe Products These Are The Results Blend Mode Project A pulsar was blended with a picture of the creature. Next, a lens flair was generated over the shoulder along with a monkey named Jorge on its shoulder. Then a tree was generated along the arm and hand. finally, a plack stating "Change da world my final message. goodbye". This all culminates into an image that is bizarre and inspiring.

Comic Cover Project A comic cover from the series "Punk Mambo". it incorporates vibrant neon colors that pop out at the viewer. The skull in the background used a gradient for its colors. finally, the text used is punk and anti-conformist. Over all it looks colorful and embodies the comic well.

T-Shirt Design

The design is derived from the anime Jojo's Bizzare Adventure specifically part 4 Diamond is unbreakable. The characters were made entirely by hand in illustrator the top character Killer queen and the bottom Hayato. The text is used to try and remind the viewer of 90's japan which is where and when part 4 takes place. Finally the flames around KQ where made in photoshop. The design is meant to be imposing as if a thearatining aura is engulfing the rest of the design.

Banana... The actual line art was done by someone else the coloring is the main thing yhat was done. The actual art is fanart for a streamer called sput who roleplays as a juggalo on GTA 5 RP and the codeword to drop a grenade on cops was banana.

WANTED FOR HIS CRIMES This wanted poster ironically was made by the criminal right before he committed the heinous acts at arby's on that faitful day. It was used with a contrast of red on white with some black mixed in. the poster follows the flow of title to picture to the attributes and crimes. he will pay for this disruption of the peace.

My Favorite Projects In Spill Ville Valiant cover

I designed this project using photoshop this was a very fun project. I got to use all the tools i learned about through the semester and put them to use. The main tool i used was the brush tool this tool allowed me to apply the color to the project another important tool i used was the blend tool to hlep mkae it look more natural.

T-shirt design

For this project I used illustrator this project was fun because we got to use our skills to design something we like. It took me awhile to get this project looking the way I wanted it from getting the colors to be right and the size and height of the letters. I also had to use the pen tool in this project to trace the sunglasses this was a difficult task but i figured it out the last and final details i put on this project was the shadows and the effects on all the letters

Valiant Indy project This is my Valiant Indy project that I did in adobe photoshop in February/ march of 2022. If I am being honest this was one of my least favorite projects to do. My first reason is because there were a lot of characters that I needed to color in with little time to do it in. The second reason this was my least favorite project was because I didn't really feel like I knew what the character was or who he was as if I was coloring blind. In total this project took me about 7 hours to complete.

T-shirt Project This is my T-shirt project that I did in adobe illustrator in April of 2022. This project was by far my favorite project that we did in Adobe visual design. I felt that with this project I had a lot of freedom to do what I wanted to do. This project helped me work on my pen tool skills and my paintbrush skills The first thing that I did when I started this project was do a sketch of the car that i found off of google including all of the small details. The thing that i had to do next was color the car as a simple kind of look that was not too realistic. The last thing that I did to finish off the design was add the text and to make the Japanese text appear up top I had to use google translate and translate it. This project took me a total of around 12 or 13 hours.

Wanted poster project This is my wanted poster project I did in January of 2022. This was a fun project and one of the first ones I did. I did this project in Canva where I am also making this magazine page. When i started this project i wanted to make it rule of thirds. Rule of thirds in where the paper looks like it is cut in to three. This project was one of my simpler projects in my opinion because all you had to do was put your picture and a basic thing about you like height, eye color and other things. This project in total took me about 2 hours.

Class Reflection I think Mr.Spillmans Adobe Visual Design is a good learning experience and good skill to have in life. This is something that you could not only use for fun but is also something you could do as a career. I think everyone should take this class because at first I thought I wouldn't like this class but now i found out this class is a fun class.

MY TRIALS IN ADOBE This is my Wanted Poster Project for my wanted poster design we were told that we could make up what our crimes, what we were wearing and stuff like that and so i did just that. so first of all i need a good idea on how i wanted my poster to be it took me a few tries but then i got my general idea of how i wanted it. I needed a picture of myself that would probably land me in a mental asylum which i may have succeeded in doing. The i just made some funny stuff up i went for orange and black i though that it would look nice and fitting for my poster. In this project we had to clip our faces on to a landscape and make it colorful my landscape was a valley so first off we had to blend the background and faces together and then we had to make it colorful and appealing then we add clouds to make it more appealing and lowered the contrast and other blend modes to make it even more appealing.

This is the Valiant title logo that i made for my Valiant Project i used the punk font and used drop shadow and glow to add to the text to make it glow like that and put that gradient background to kinda make it voodoo-ish. and to blend with my final design.

I have made the valiant logo in my own way and i put this in the corner of the final design. i used the ellipse tool to create the circle with no fill and a black stroke and then used the rectangle tool and started to warp it in to position and then i had to put it together

The first step in this project was to think how I wanted the image of myself to appear on whichever background that I chose. MY ADOBE PROJECTS Valiant Cover Page This is the cover page we did on a comic book character of our choice. I picked ninja-K and tried to do a whole different design then the comic book creators. I did a custom sky and stars and tried to change the colors up a little bit.

Gaslighting isn’t real

This design was funny in my head, but, the program I used was Adobe Illustrator, I got the idea off of a funny tiktok ad, and the “techniquies” I “used” was just mainly my brain, I utilized the pen tool a LOT, along with the vectorize image. I unfortunately didn’t get it printed so there’s no repping my design, but it’s a still a w cause I made it

The design process took me like 3 days solely because I just had absolutely no idea about what to do so I just got picture of a gas canister and then it losely related to “gaslighting” and it’s a gas canister, so it holds gas, and + gaslighting isn’t real, you’re just crazy Basically what I’m trying to say is that gaslighting isn’t real, you’re just insane, and well, the logo says so.

Honestly, my favorite project, the color won’t transfer over but somehow the color for the wanted project will transfer over, doesn’t make sense, but, it was fun to color, researcht his dude, and all and all just a good project to just, do, I used a lot of different coloring techniques like mainly small brush and big brush, to be honest, Rai is probably one of the coolest Valiant characters. A little bit about me cause I wanted to get this done project done before summer break, I play a LOT of battlefield 1, I’m max rank, and I’m a medic/calvary main, I also happen to play a lot of Sniper Elite 4 and I am very excited for the release of Sniper Elite 5, the game looks amazing, My music tastes are basically everything, Jacksonville Drill is my main genre, however I listen to almost every single genre a lot of sub-genres.
