MAGAZINE

Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride!

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

THIS CAR WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD.

This is my 1965 Mustang CP nicknamed “65 Eleanor.” This car was raised from the dead. It was sitting in someone’s yard for many years, full of trash and bushes growing through the trunk.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

I decided to create a one of a kind Mustang and Eleanor was born. It has a worked 351W with a 750 Holley. Everything chrome including suspension and stainless steel mirror in the undercarriage. It has custom interior with a killer sound system. All the bolt covers in the engine and throughout the car are made of billet aluminum as well as the radiator cap, oil and trans dipstick, foglight covers and pretty much everything else.

The Cobra logo and Eleanor are engraved in all of them. Believe it or not there are 185 Cobras throughout the whole car including undercarriage. It’s never trailered and always an attraction in The Philly Auto Show.

Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!

I WAS RAISED ON MUSTANGS AND STAYED LOYAL THROUGHOUT THE YEARS.

9TMARE Is our 2018 Mustang Ecoboost Premium PP1 and is a daily driven show car. 9TMARE has been in numerous local shows and has won many beautiful trophies and plaques. Very proud of our Mustang!

When purchased 9TMARE looked great but since has been transformed with the addition of a few cosmetic upgrades which include a GT350 stripe kit Matte Black with Red accents, 18x5 front and 17x10 rear VMS drag pack wheels, color matched GT spoiler, rear side louvers, red painted calipers, and smoked front and rear light covers.

My Mustang passion started at a very young age as my father owned a 66 Fastback and a 67 Coupe. When I came of age, I started off with a 67, 68, 70, 2000, 2014 and now 2018 Mustang. I was raised on Mustangs and stayed loyal throughout the years.

Perhaps someday I will buy another classic Mustang but for now 9TMARE is our show winner!

MY LOVE OF MUSCLE CARS IN GENERAL CAME FROM WHEN I WAS A YOUNG BOY AND SHARING MY FATHER’S PASSION WITH HIM.

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

My enthusiasm for the Ford Mustang started when I was 18 years old, but my love of muscle cars in general came from when I was a young boy and sharing my father’s passion with him. His love of Ford and cars became my love as well. When I turned eighteen, I went to my uncle who was the Service Director for University Ford in Durham, NC and asked for his assistance in finding the perfect car. The perfect car wound up being a 1993 5.0 LX Foxbody. Unfortunately, at 30 I decided to sell my dream car due to having our third amazing child.

Now, 15 years later I am the proud owner of a beautiful 2014 Mustang GT S197 with Ford’s Track Package. She drives and rides like a dream. I compare driving her to going to a therapist and being able to find peace, freedom, and so much happiness. Owning and definitely driving a Mustang like mine is such a good thing for my mental health.

I call my new Mustang, Bella, and her Instagram handle is St3lla_B3lla2014. My wife and I are taking Bella on a completely different journey. We are taking her to car shows and Mustang cruises with the local mustang group, NC Stangs (they can be found on FB and Instagram). I have only owned her for about six months, but within that time she placed second in the King of the Ranch Kids Path 2023 car show. Also, in September we will be attending Mustang Week at Myrtle Beach, SC, and YES, she has been entered into the car show there. Fingers crossed! So many firsts for me and I am so excited to see and meet so many

people, places, and attend events.

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

Mods include a Boss 302 with Accufab intake, Airaid mass cold air intake tube, Kook’s long tube headers, 3.73 rear end gears, H-Pipe with 3” Corsa tips, tuned to 93 Octane, GT500 20“ wheels, rear wing, side rockers and front chin spoiler, and Recaro seats.

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

For me, being a car enthusiast is an understatement. I’ve always been fascinated with many types of cars, whether it be muscle cars, sports cars, super cars, or off-road vehicles. His fascination started in the late 70s and early 80s with the 1966 George Barris Batmobile and grew with the 1977 Pontiac SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT Trans Am, 1982 GMC FALL GUY K-2500 Sierra Grande Wideside, 1982 Pontiac

KNIGHT RIDER Firebird Trans Am, and the 1982 DMC BACK TO THE FUTURE DMC-12 DeLorean just to name a few. TV/Movie Cars have a special place in my heart and jump started my love for Mustangs.

I’ve had many Mustangs throughout the years including two 69s, an 82 GT, a 87 GT, a 07 GT/CS, a 05 Roush GT, and my current car, a 2017 GT just to name a few. Mustangs led me to attending the Carlisle Ford Nationals. After an amazing weekend at the 2021 Carlisle Ford Nationals, I knew that I wanted to be a part of STANG Magazine.

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

I started attending STANG Magazine’s weekly meetings and slowly started convincing them to let him have a crack at the design in Q4 of 2021. I’m happy to be able to say that I’ve been instrumental in helping STANG Magazine put smiles on fan’s faces ever since

I COULD NOT WIPE THE SMILE OFF MY FACE.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

Mustangs have always been part of my family’s life. When I was young, I remember my dad talking about them and saying that he always wanted one. I grew up wanting a Mustang as well. I remember always wanting a Silver Mustang. I thought that they were so beautiful and tough. Dad got his first Mustang, which was a 1966 convertible in Springtime Yellow with bucket seats. A rare combination. This cemented my love for the Mustang. We drove around in this car all the time and took it to car shows, meeting fun and interesting people along the way. My dad then got his 2017 yellow Mustang GT. This made me want one even more. My brother got his before mine. An orange 2018 GT. This was when I decided that I had waited long enough. I traded in the car that I was driving and purchased my Mustang.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. love driving my car anywhere I can. It was my daily drive for three years. Now it’s more of a weekend car because I don’t want to put too many km’s on it. I love my car. I will never get rid of it!

I was so excited when I got the call that she was ready to be picked up. I went right from work. The family came with me, so happy for another Mustang to be added to the collection. I could not wipe the smile off my face. A week after I got my car, the striping had been done. I love the pink and black. It makes it look a bit girly but still tough. The H-Pipe was added not long after. I wanted to be noticed when I drove around. I wanted it to be loud enough for people to turn around, but not too loud that it was annoying. I

This baby is an 2016 Avalanche Gray with Deep impact Blue stripes GT350 with the technology package. I purchased the car brand new from Rich Ford in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I drive a semi for a living and I was on my way to California when a picture of this exact car popped up on my Facebook feed. Back then these cars were very hard to come by and not many of them were out yet so I had to stop in to take a peek. Once I laid my eyes on it, I knew I had to have it. I ended up loading it onto my semi trailer and I hauled it all the way back home to Minnesota. I have always been a Mustang fan since I was just a little kid thanks to my Dad. He was a big time drag racer and Ford fan who still owns his 1969 428 SCJ R code that he purchased when he was 18 years old so needless to say, I was hooked. I bought my first one at the age of 17 which was a 1995 GT. I did a lot of mods to it over the years and finally ended up doing a full Terminator swap. I’ve bought and sold multiple Foxbodies over the years and would like to pick up another one soon as well as quite a few others... It’s an addiction.

EVERY TIME I GET BEHIND THE WHEEL I FORGET HOW OLD I AM...

I’ve been into muscle cars since I was in single digits. There was a shop down the street from my house that worked on MOPARs and I got to see all of the old MOPARs at that shop. It was great. You would think I would have owned one when I started driving. I’ve owned many vehicles in my life but my two favorites are ‘68 GTO which I no longer own but wish I still did and my ‘03 Mach 1.

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

Seven years ago my son Chris purchased his first car, a 1997 Red Mustang. That is when my obsession with Mustangs started. We went to a Mustang Performance shop in San Antonio, Texas to pick up some wheels and a transmission for the ‘97 stang and on the Dyno was a Terminator. I looked at my son and said I could roll in that. It was gorgeous. So my quest begins. After looking at many Mustangs I found this 2003 Mach 1 and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wasn’t leaving without it. It had my color combo, Dark Shadow Gray with Black. I instantly had the vision in my head of what it would look like after I took care of the issues it came with and where I wanted it to be. When the previous owner asked what I was going to do with the car, I said I was going to bring it up to the next level and take it to car shows. And that is exactly what I did.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. Every time I get behind the wheel I forget how old I am and it takes me back to my youth when life was simple, fun, and driving a muscle car was what we did back in the 70s and 80s. I fell in love with the body style when it first came out and now that my kids are all grown and out of the house, I actually own one and I’m still enjoying it. My son now has a Mach 1. Machs run in the family I guess you could say.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

My thanks to Emily and Lightworx Studios for showing her true professionalism by showing vehicles in a new light. Peace out fellow Mustang enthusiasts.

I belong to two Mustang clubs here in Texas - MOCA (Mustang Owners Club of Austin) and Wild Side Stangs. The car holds three 1st place, four 2nd place, one top 25 and one top 40 trophies. I can’t have a cookie cutter Mach 1, this car had to be different than the other Machs, regardless of what the purists say. “The Mach” is garage kept and sees around 1-2K miles of Texas roads per year. I have a bunch of bolt on parts to add horsepower to the car which sits at 400HP on stock internals and a really good tune that brings out the best of

This is my 2011 Mustang GT Coyote nicknamed The Mistress. She was purchased 2.5 years ago as a stock GT. I’ve always had a passion for Mustangs as this is my fifth one. I’ve built The Mistress myself in my garage along with the help of a few family members from time to time. There isn’t a corner on this car that hasn’t been touched. She has a lot of carbon fiber from the exterior to the interior and a lot of stainless in the engine bay. She used to be a daily but now due to work she is a weekend car. When I take her for a ride I can’t go anywhere without my daughter jumping in. As soon as she hears The Mistress start she’s in the passenger seat. Hoping my love for Mustangs continues to grow on her and she continues the builds as she gets older and possibly even the next owner of The Mistress. She currently has 66,600 miles and is a great car.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. My Mustang addiction started in 2014 when I first bought a 2013 Mustang V6 with the beautiful “Pony Package.” The entry level car. Although I love it and still own the car, I decided in 2017 that I need a V8 as well. I eventually found this car and named it instantly “Trekkie“, because I thought it drives much rougher than the 2013 and reminded me of a tractor. Although this comparison might be a bit insolent, I absolutely love this car. It used to be my daily driver until 2021. But then I wanted to retire it for this job. A 2000 Mustang GT is my current daily driver. Besides these three Mustangs you would also find a 1990 Mustang GT Foxbody and a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 in my garage. My Mustang passion has grown over the last years. I absolutely love the cars and the community.

Trekkie came to Switzerland in 2009. I’m the third owner of this car. The previous owner and the guy that imported Trekkie had to work extra shifts to make his dream come true. That’s another reason why I want to keep it in best condition as I can. I bought it stock and added the few modifications. I love how it looks now.

It is equipped with Bullitt mufflers, Vossen CV1 rims, and a CDC chin spoiler.

We purchased the car with the intention of making it a track car. With the help of Matt from Steeda, we purchased the Steeda dual ride ultimate handling lowering springs, bumpsteer kit, adjustable front and rear sway bars, the Steeda “Stop the Hop” street ultimate kit, and Ford Performance PP2 wheels. Since the car was not an HP car we also added the Ford Performance rear spoiler with the gurney flap, Steeda camber plates, and the front lower splitter. We also changed out the coolant overflow tank and added an oil separator. In the interior, we swapped out the factory steering wheel and shifter for a carbon fiber Accelatec wheel and a Ford Performance carbon fiber shift nob. I have to thank Mike Precourt for all his hard work on the Mach 1.

With only 360 miles we took the Mach 1 to the 2023 Ford Nationals at Carlisle and we participated in the Street Shootout. The car handled great and we managed to make it to the second round. It was my first autocross in a number of years. We took the car in July to the SCCA Track Night in America at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This time

we swapped tires to the Cup 2s. The car handled and performed well. We were one of the fastest cars in our group.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

We are looking forward to attending more track events. I have to thank my wife Angel Reinbold and Mike Precourt for all their help.

THERE’S NOTHING LIKE GOING THROUGH THE GEARS WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN IN A LOUD MUSTANG!

This car sat for quite a while, forgotten by the previous owner due to brake system issues. Luckily he had it covered under a carport protected from the elements.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. A friend told me about the car and that the odometer read only 71,000 miles. It was in rough condition from sitting, but after wiping away a few areas, it was clear that all it needed was a good cleaning.

We replaced the brakes with a set of Cobra brakes from the same generation and added a set of slotted rotors. After a good tune up, we basically just updated the stock look with lowering springs and a set of wheels and tires. The car had a few areas repainted but the rest of the cars original paint came back with a few passes of a clay bar and wax.

This car isn’t the fastest but there’s nothing like going through the gears with the windows down in a loud Mustang!

It is equipped with a Borla Atak catback, SR Performance lowering springs, Cobra brakes and slotted rotors, Mach 1

chin splitter, billet under drive pulleys, and staggered SVE NVX wheels on Yokohama Advan S.

Uno, my one car to do it all. New school technology with an old school concept “run what you brung”. Nothing is exotic and everything has a purpose. This is my daily driven, road tripping, autocrosser and doing so without any changes being made to the car in between.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. As an avid autocrosser and not wanting a dedicated racer anymore, I was intrigued by the Ecoboost. The weight distribution, power and torque curve, and sharing parts with the GTs as well as aftermarket support really made it an easy choice. Taking time with parts selection and a bunch of trial and error to stay true to my goals, I’ve slowly developed the car into a class winner that just keeps getting better.

It is equipped with a Ford Performance tune, Steeda sway bars, BMR front springs, Steeda jacking rails, Airaid intake, Bridgestone RE71RS, and weight reduction.
