HOTTY
Adam Superville 20, TACARIGUA Three things you like about yourself and why? Honestly I never thought about it but if I have to answer I would say... I like my shoulders because they are broad and they give me a strong, masculine look. Many people who know me say I am easy to talk to. I can be standoffish at times. The third thing I like about myself is my ability to put myself out there and try new things; like I did not know anything about dragon-boating. I tried it and I am now on the National Dragon Boat Team. Your OMG moment? That would definitely have to be putting on make-up for this photo shoot. I never thought I would be doing this, so OMG! Reached my
boiling point!! I’m tired of fighting. Just let me be myself and you could be you. Please don’t call me or text me anymore unless it has something to do with our son…I used to think that holding on to us was for the best, especially for him. I was wrong!! It only made me bitter… Ah, don’t worry, he will be just fine. As for you, good luck.
My bathing suit
top fell off
at the beach My bathing suit top fell off at the beach and my breasts were in full view of at least six guys. I felt so embarrassed I left the beach with my girlfriend who thought it was funny and said I made those guys’ day with my breast show.
I feel like I’m too nice to people... I feel like I’m really just too nice to people, and I’m beginning to think this might hurt me in the long run. I’ll be afraid to lightheartedly mess with people, tease them and joke around because I’m actually insecure and feel that they’ll dislike me deep down inside. Either that or I’m just not confident enough to do those kinds of things. Maybe this is why I’m consistently messed with and never taken seriously when I stand up for myself. It feels like I have no depth from an outside perspective and that I’m only taken seriously when I genuinely make a joke. I think that if I don’t start asserting myself, people will keep seeing me as a doormat that’s always getting walked on. I’m also paranoid that my “friends” are faking their feelings because they get some kind of sadistic pleasure from talking to me and actually pity me. This has taken a huge toll on my self-esteem and I feel lost as to what to do...
I’m a closet Brony I’m a 19-year-old male and I legitimately enjoy watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. None of my friends know this, as I know it’ll be something that they would never let me live down, but what can I say? It’s surprisingly charming.
I wanna be a kid again I absolutely hate being me. At 16 I’m already working. Got heartbroken, and I just hate this. I never see my dad and my mom nags (they’re divorced). I want to go back to the days when I could sit and play Pokemon. Or actually see my family together again.
I’m a total
bitch I use people all the time. When they aren’t useful to me, I ditch them in totally terrible ways. I’ll suddenly stop talking to my friends when they really don’t deserve it. I try to use people just for lustful reasons then not care when I break their heart. I’m screwed up.

Planning a perfect date Here are some simple, fairly inexpensive date ideas for those of you who wish to add a little romance to your relationship
Step 1
Host a candlelit dinner in your own backyard, patio or terrace. Use the stars as your backdrop and the candles to create intimacy. If there is a river nearby, see if there is a company that does champagne river or boat tours. As your guide relates the local habitat, you and your honey can snuggle under a blanket and share a toast to your relationship.
Step 2
Picnic in your local park or at your local beach. Enjoy feeding each other finger foods and fresh fruit.
Step 3
Call your local culinary school and see if you can hire one of the chefs in training to cook for the two of you. Their prices may be more reasonable than a dinner out, plus you don’t have to worry about how much you drink and the mess is cleaned up for you.
Step 4
Try some backyard tourism. Do you live near a museum or park, beach, river or landmark? Have you been there lately? Has your date? Plan a day trip, pack a picnic lunch, and make a Saturday of it.
Step 5
Check your local newspaper for special events in your area. Is there a festival nearby? Does the local art/science/history museum/zoo/theatre/shopping mall/ restaurant/bar have a limited-time event that seems interesting and fun? It is exciting to try new things, but don’t go too far outside of either of your comfort zones.
Step 6
Pursue a hobby or sport together, or try a new one. Do you know what your date does for fun? Is there a climbing gym in your area? A miniature golf course? Do you both like to ride bicycles? Could you teach your date to dance, or could you both take lessons together?
Dealing With
Disappointment in a Relationship Step 1
Make sure that you have listed priorities of what you expect in your relationship. If the main core is not jeopardised and your disappointment does not touch the core of what you are looking really for. Move on and let go of your disappointment.
Step 2
Know that you might be a part in that disappointment. You need to analyse what lead to that
Step 5
When you communicate disappointment, do not attack. Rather, explain the situation, the why, how and what made you disappointed. Attacking or blaming your partner makes you lose the logic of explanations and your partner/friend will feel wrongly accused.
Step 6
If you need time, take it. Space is very important in a relationship.
disappointment.
Step 3
Communicating, being honest with each other and not taking things personally are essentials to help a relationship flourish and work.
Step 4
Know that disappointment can lead to anger and you should avoid that. Because anger can cause lots of harm to you, your partner and your kids if you have any. A better way is to talk it out with your partner, discussing what led to the whole situation and what’s the best way to deal with it.
Step 7
Tell yourself that it is not the end of the world if it does not work out with that friend or that partner and there must be something meant to be for you out there. Believe this.
Step 8
If someone physically hurt you, you need to be firm about this so that this never happens again. Normal people probably feel really bad if they physically hurt somebody and would never do that again. However, if that is repeated, don’t continue in the relationship. No second chances.

HOW
How to Express TO’S
Your Feelings
Lots of people suffer from an inability to express their true feelings, which can affect relationships and self-confidence. Here are simple ways to overcome this problem. STEP 1 - Organize your thoughts
Take time to organize your thoughts before telling them to someone else. You need to understand what you’re feeling before you express it.
Tip - Write down your thoughts in a notebook; it will help you sort out what is important. STEP 2 - Don’t wait until you’re fed up
Talk out your feelings before you become too fed up with the issue. Excess anger will make it difficult to explain yourself.
STEP 3 - Be specific
Be specific. Refer to specific issues or events that have bothered you, and when and where they took place. A general statement won’t be productive.
How to handle forgetting
someone’s name
You meet someone whose face is familiar, but you can’t remember their name. Not to worry, help is at hand. STEP 1- Tell the individual you remember their name
Tell them you remember their name, but are stumped at the moment -- just drawing a blank.
Tip - You might also say something like, “I keep wanting to call you Tom, but that doesn’t seem right.” STEP 2 - Exchange business cards
Tell them you’d like to exchange business cards, and then get their name from the card.
STEP 3 - Praise the individual
Praise them for being able to remember your name, while explaining that you lack such a gift.
STEP 4 - Ask for their last name
Ask for the person’s last name on the pretense that you forgot it. They will probably give you their first and last names.
STEP 5 - Introduce them to someone else
Introduce them to someone whose name you do remember. They will probably say their name as part of the introduction.
Tip - If you’re with someone else, say, “This is my friend, Mary....” and then trail off. They will have no choice but to introduce themselves. STEP 6 - Ask the person’s name
Ask the person their name if all else fails. Just be up front and say, “I’m sorry, I don’t recall your name.” Pay attention this time, so you don’t forget again!
STEP 4 - Describe the feeling
Describe what you felt when the event occurred.
Tip -Don’t simply say that you’re “angry” or “upset,” but use as much detail as you can. This will help the other person better understand the issue. STEP 5 - Avoid blaming the other person
Avoid blaming the other person. You don’t want them to become defensive. Talk about your reaction rather than about their mistake.

Hilarious comedy ‘Lotto Madness’ at Central Bank Auditorium from May 29th to June 2nd
There is Lotto fever in the air! $20 million in Trinidad! $600 million in the States! We all go a little crazy dreaming about the great windfall landing squarely in our laps. But what happens if you heard that your spouse won the $20 million Lotto and did not tell you?! Would you believe the rumour? Would you ask him or her? Or would you hire your own private investigator to find out? Well, that is exactly what happens as RR/RS Productions launches its latest play, “Lotto Madness”, at the Central Bank Auditorium on the long weekend spanning Thursday 30th May to Sunday 2nd June. “Lotto Madness” is written by Richard Ragoobarsingh, the award-winning writer of “Mary Could Dance” and “One Night Stand”. In fact, “Mary Could Dance” is the most decorated play in the history of Trinidad and Tobago’s theatre. “Lotto Madness” is a riotous comedy for the long weekend that will have audiences guessing as to who actually won the $20 million Lotto as we follow a trail of deception, sex, lies and money to hilarious conclusion.
“Lotto Madness” takes a very pointed look at how human beings manoeuvre to achieve their agendas, whether they be businessmen, politicians or an overly ambitious husband. A study of the corrupting power of greed from high places to the relationship between husband and wife, “Lotto Madness” takes an insightful comedic look at what happens as trust breaks down because of money, greed and sex. What people will do for money, from bribery to deception to sexual favours. A meddling sister, a neurotic wife, a maccocious maid, a sexually charged husband and a strange private detective on the trail of incriminating emails, all get involved in a melee that has unexpected results in hilarious proportions. “Lotto Madness” will feature a stellar cast that includes Debra Boucaud Mason as the bacchanal maid, Richard Ragoobarsingh, Carolyn Taylor, Leslie Ann Lavine and Glenn Davis. ”Lotto Madness” is written and directed by Richard Ragoobarsingh and Debra Boucaud Mason and promises to be another hit play of 2013 from the RR/RS production team. This one is not to be missed over the long weekend as it runs exclusively for four nights only. For information call 338-6024 or 744-7581. Central Bank Box Office 623-0845

This article is about PMS. No, not women’s premenstrual cycle but Penelope M. Spencer, one of the best known actors in the Caribbean. She’s the sensational actress you saw in productions such as “Mary Could Dance”, “TALK YUH TALK”, “5 Hotspots”, “Wild Wild Westmoorings”, and “Raw”, just to list a few. Not to damage anyone’s ego but Spencer’s resume up to this point is most other actors’ bucket list. From 1980 to 2000 she was an actor, writer and director at Necessary Arts and from 2009 to 2012 she was a director at HAHAHA Productions.
OMG Magazine | Thursday 23 May, 2013 • PAGE 23
Interview by Stephen Doobal | Written by Amelia C Ramjarrie
Spencer didn’t just reach for the stars – she became one. She says being an actor isn’t just glitz and glamour. Instead, she tells actors that in this profession you must always have commitment, dedication and hard work in your pockets. She claims these are some of the many qualities she looks for in prospective actors because procrastination angers her. She believes that people should work hard as this facilitates growth and maturity. This is mainly why she has targeted many primary schools to teach creative writing, drama and storytelling. Some of the primary schools that are fortunate to experience the fine teaching of Penelope are Newtown Girls RC, St. Andrew’s and the International School. She believes if you want to raise the standards of theatre and drama you must start by shaping the minds of the young. This is one woman who has walked the walk. At the tender age of 12 Penny took part in her first play while attending San Fernando East Secondary. Her teacher found that she spoke a lot in class and thought she could use her verbal skills in drama. It was one of the best moves a player could make in the game of life. A phenomenal and talented actor arose out of the experience. She has accomplished many things, but “Penny” is particularly appreciative of the opportunity that 3Canal has given her to write for them. As for Penelope’s OMG moment, it was the first time she received a standing ovation at a performance where she played a lead role. “It made me feel special.” She says even when someone says “Penny. I love you” it’s an OMG moment.

Krizia Layne 24, ARIMA, HOCKEY
Interview by Stephen Doobal Written by Amelia C Ramjarrie
“You push me hard, I push you back harder.” That line by US actress Elizabeth Gilles truly epitomises Krizia’s approach to her hockey game. Not literally of course… just figuratively. She always strives to be better and is never satisfied with being merely good; therefore on the hockey field she pushes herself to the max and to be outstanding. At age 12 she began playing at her school – St Augustine Girls’ High School. Krizia says that she always liked practical and physical activities like sports because she liked the element of danger. She excelled at hockey and went to Puerto Rico with the national women’s hockey team in 2006. They won gold. Krizia went on to pursue her college degree in Health Science in New York on a partial hockey scholarship. She described this as an amazing experience since it exposed her to other dimensions of hockey. As for her future aspirations, Krizia wants to dominate in the field of hockey – after all she hates to lose. She may pursue a career in the medical field or in physical therapy. When OMG Magazine asked Krizia about her OMG moment she gave an account of her first game in the Under-21 league. “It was my first game at the ‘big’ league. I hit someone and at the time I wasn’t familiar with the rules. I used to look at football and knew that if someone got injured and you have the ball it is good sportsmanship to put the ball out of play. Apparently that tradition doesn’t apply to hockey.” So Krizia, trying to do the right thing, put the ball on the sideline. “The umpires, people in the stands, my teammates and the other team’s members were laughing. You don’t do that in hockey, you don’t stop playing if someone is injured. So I stood there looking like a damn fool in front of everyone.”

Veena Malik’s Zindagi 50-50 is being released this weekend and is opening the door to a horde of raunchy productions waiting in line to hit the big screen in the days to come. What better occasion than this to take a look at the sleaze fare of 2013? Veena Malik is all set to do something she’s never done before. The Pakistani import is playing a sex-worker in Zindagi 50-50. And given Veena’s affinity for bold scenes, we are expecting the babe to do something highly “innovative” and
absolutely uninhibited. After giving us a generous dose of skinshow whenever she has appeared on the screen (or on the cover of some naughty glossy, for that matter), the sizzling babe will now be seen in a fullblown seedy avatar in Zindagi 50-50. But it’s not just Veena who will be making her controversial presence felt this
year; the entire desperate-for-attention brigade – from Sunny Leone to Poonam Pandey and from Sherlyn Chopra to Veena herself – will be seen playing some…err…revealing characters in their forthcoming releases. It looks like sleaze is on the march this year!

D-Day trailer: Arjun
Rampal, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan get violent! The Nikhil Advani film is an action-packed spy thriller When the first look of Nikhil Advani D-Day was launched, we were only excited about Rishi Kapoor’s look as the dreaded underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the film. The rest of the cast seemed to pale in comparison. However, the freshly launched trailer made us take notice that Rishi is only a piece in the exceedingly violent puzzle. The rest of the cast including Irrfan Khan, Arjun Rampal and Huma Qureshi too seem to be on top of their game. Irrfan Khan plays an Indian spy living in Pakistan for nine years, who is activated after an increasingly violent terrorist attack in India. His job is to capture the dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim who is believed to have a part to play in the attacks. His fellow Indian spies Arjun Rampal and Huma Qureshi are shipped off to Pakistan to begin the dangerous mission that has a lot more than their lives on line. Although the trailer drags on for three minutes with one violent incident after another, we’re sure that those among you who like their gore served to them fresh and hot, would really appreciate this action-packed flick. Watch the trailer and tell us if you like the look of this spy thriller. http://youtu.be/zPU6ZsNLBQc

Death threats against Chris Brown
Chris Brown
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating death threats made against Chris Brown ... TMZ has learned.
Our sources say Geragos took the threats very seriously and immediately reported them to the LAPD, giving them all the information he had on the calls.
According to sources, multiple threats were called in to the office of Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos. We’re told the caller threatened Chris’ life ... but it’s unclear what, if any, specific threats were made.
We’re told Geragos filled out a report and the LAPD are currently investigating.
Eesha Khare
18-Year-Old Invents Supercapacitor that
Charges Cellphone
Batteries in 30 Seconds How fitting is it that a high school student may have found the answer to longer lasting and faster charging mobile devices? The promising invention was made by Eesha Khare, an 18-year-old student from Saratoga, California. It’s a supercapacitor that, according to Intel, “fits inside cell phone batteries, allowing them to fully charge within 20-30 seconds.” Supercapacitors have significantly higher durability and rate of charging (and discharging) compared to rechargeable batteries, but the downside to them is that they have a low energy density. That’s why they’re mainly used in devices that need short bursts of power. But in the video below, which was uploaded by Santa Barbara Arts TV on YouTube, you’ll hear Khare mention that her supercapacitors have “a special nanostructure, which allows for a lot [sic] greater energy per unit volume.”

Woman smacks cop so she can go to jail and quit smoking Sacramento’s Etta Lopez apparently waited outside the Sacramento County Jail for a cop to emerge and then slapped him, so that she could be thrown into jail. She wanted to go to jail because she believed it would help her give up smoking. According to deputies, Lopez knew she’d immediately be arrested, and slapped a cop to kick her habit. Lopez allegedly admitted
she sat in front of the county jail for hours intent on assaulting an officer to get arrested and be put in jail, where she would be forced to stop smoking cigarettes. “There’s easier ways to stop smoking besides hitting a cop,” Roger Spearman, a neighbour, said. The neighbour Lopez says she does smoke a lot, and they used to smoke together. “I have not heard of something like that before,” Kimberly Bankston-Lee with the antismoking group Breathe California said. “If it led somebody to doing something like that to quit, that lets us know in the community that we have a real problem.”

Lindsay Lohan sued ‘Her Druggie Reputation Cost Us $5 m’ Lindsay Lohan has just been sued for $5 million she doesn’t have ... all because of her highly-publicised drug problems, TMZ has learned. D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries – a clothing manufacturer – just filed the countersuit against Lindsay in response to Lindsay’s lawsuit against the company. In her lawsuit, Lindsay says she struck a business deal with D.N.A.M. in 2009 allowing them to manufacture clothes, for her “6126” clothing line – but D.N.A.M. stiffed her on a massive licensing fee. Lindsay wants $1.1 million in damages. But D.N.A.M. is now coming back at Lindsay for nearly five
times that amount, insisting SHE’S the reason their business deal fell apart. According to D.N.A.M., the company did its darndest to sell their 6126 clothes to high-end third party retailers – but by spring 2010, no one would touch the brand ... because Lindsay was back in rehab ... and her legal problems were playing out in the media “like a Greek tragedy.” D.N.A.M. claims Lindsay’s “drug-addled image” destroyed 6126’s reputation, and rendered the clothing line completely unsellable. D.N.A.M. says it invested millions in 6126 for nothing – and now it’s suing for breach of contract and fraud, demanding at least $5 million in damages. And the irony ... Lindsay’s currently back in rehab yet again.

Jay-Z Iced Beyonce From Failing Grade Pregnancy Rumours
‘It’s Not True’
First it was Beyonce who blast gossip blogs for fuelling rumours that she is pregnant. Now Jay-Z has come forward to downplay those pregnancy rumours. Hot 97 Morning show programme director Ebro reported that he emailed Jay-Z to congratulate him and Jay-Z reply saying the news is false. “It’s not true, the news is worse than blogs,” Jay-Z said. E! News broke the story last week claiming that multiple sources confirmed that Beyonce is pregnant. We will all know if the reports are true or false in a few months.
Aftab Aslam may have failed his Georgia Gwinnett College English class (twice), but he definitely earned an A in “Faking Your Own Kidnapping, Worrying the Hell Out of Your Parents, and Wasting Police Resources: 101”. In order to take the sting out of his failing grade, police say that the 19-year-old college student first purchased a mobile phone from Target on April 24. Three days later, he texted his parents saying that their son had been kidnapped and would be killed if police were contacted. Naturally, his parents informed police anyway, and the FBI was brought in for an “intensive investigation”. But authorities were unable to locate the kidnapped-kidnapper, who allegedly lived in a tent in an open field for eight days. When the weather became cold and wet, Aslam abandoned the field (but not the pretence) and returned home telling his parents he had been drugged and held captive. “It appears he thought the relief of his being returned would stop his parents being angry when he eventually told them about his grades” the Daily Mail reports. Aslam now faces three felony counts for making false statements, three felony counts for tampering with evidence, and three felony counts for making terroristic threats.
JUSTIN BIEBER:
Talk about my parties and I’ll sue you for $5m Here’s the good news ... Justin Bieber wants to invite you to one of his house parties. The bad news ... if you talk about it, he’s gonna sue your ass for $5 million.
JUSTIN BIEBER
TMZ has obtained a copy of a document EVERYONE must sign before entering Casa De Bieb in Calabasas, CA. The doc – a Liability Waiver and Release – warns that anyone who blabs about any of the goings on inside the mansion will get nailed, and that includes the “physical health, or the philosophical, spiritual or other views or characteristics” of Bieber or the guests.
The document makes it clear ... anyone who violates the terms of the waiver will automatically be on the hook for $5 million in damages. But wait ... there’s more. If you dare tweet about the party – $5 million. If you blog – $5 million. If you Instagram – $5 million. And God knows what goes on inside, but the form warns there might be activities which are “potentially hazardous and you should not participate unless you are medically able and properly trained.”And there’s more ... The risks include “minor injuries to catastrophic injuries, including death”. Truth be told ... other big celebs also make people sign these waivers, but it’s pretty hilarious.

Incredible 3D Latte Art by Kazuki Yamamoto You don’t even have to love coffee in order to appreciate these super creative latte foam artworks by Japanese artist Kazuki Yamamoto. And we’re not talking about the little smiley faces or flat palm tree patterns: this 26-year-old latte artist, based in Osaka, creates actual 3D foam sculptures in the coffee mugs of the Cafe10g visitors. This thinking outside the box – or, rather – outside the cup – even gave Kazuki the idea to make the coffee foam climb out of one cup and reach for another. That way you might be served with a cup of coffee
where a cat is trying to get into another one next to it, where tiny fish are swimming. Besides these meticulous 3D sculptures, Kazuki also does some amazing flat latte art. His subjects vary from manga and video game characters to portraits of such people as Albert Einstein or John Lennon. Kazuki says his dream is to open up his own cafe in Tokyo one day. For more 3D latte art, be sure to follow him on twitter.
