I’m Obsessed

With Tattoos Just like the title says, I’m extremely into tattoos and other body modifications. Most of my idle thoughts are focused on them. I always am thinking about what I would want where and how cool it would be and I’m constantly looking at artists near me and their portfolios. I’m obsessed with Oli Sykes and Mitch Lucker and other musical figures with a plethora of tattoos. The only problem is, I’m too scared to get any. I always think they won’t be as cool as I imagine, or that I’ll regret them and look like an idiot or that I’ll never be able to get a job and even though I’ve felt this way since I was a little kid I wonder if it’s just a phase. I also worry that they’re too expensive or I don’t have the right body type and they’re permanent and my family will hate them. It may seem trivial but it’s been eating at me. I want to get tattoos and look how I want to look, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to.

Addicted to

I like the helping people

burn

I sometimes rub hot sauce on my lips because I like the burn. I just feel like it makes my lips bigger or sexier.... I like the burn. On my tongue also, as I lick it off.... The burn feels like a thousand degrees.... YESSSS

I cry because my boyfriend watches porn I check his browser history and I see the stuff he looks at. It’s not women who look like me. I’m a chubby gal and all of the porn he watches is skinny beautiful women who look nothing like me. It makes me feel like he is just settling for me because he doesn’t think he can get anyone he finds more attractive than me. I asked him about it and he says I’m beautiful and he loves me, so I put an adult site blocker on the computer which caused a massive argument. If I’m enough for him then he shouldn’t be looking at all those skinny blonde porn stars!

I’m addicted to giving advice, supporting others, and solving their problems because it means I don’t have to face my own problems. I’ve become dependent on other people for validation – whenever I question my own self-worth, I remember all the things my friends have told me about how much I’ve helped them and how I’m such a wonderful, caring person for always being there for them. I remember the friend who was suicidal a year ago (she’s getting treatment and is better now) and how she told me that she may not be alive right now if it weren’t for me, and then I feel better about myself.

I want to fight more for whatever we had Yeah, it was weird and awkward. But I still liked you. Such confusing emotions I have right now. It’s just the thought that I lost a friend, because I failed to show I was still interested and I was even willing to open up more…but I guess it’s too little, too late now?! My pride is more important. You probably don’t think I care, but ever since you’ve told me it just won’t work out, I’ve been thinking about you...

How to Stop an Argument in 30 Seconds If you just don’t want to get into it right now, the best course of action is to make peace or move out of the way. STEP 1 - Shift the subject

Change the subject before things go too far, and express your desire to drop it.

STEP 2 - Maintain silence

Tip – When you argue, recognise that even if you’re right, there is a gap between reality and your perception.

Remove yourself. Find a neutral corner and take the time to collect your thoughts.

Getting Your Partner

In The Mood If you’re feeling frisky, pick up some tips and tricks to get your partner in the mood for love. Step 1: Smell

Step 2: Taste

Stimulate his tastebuds and with some of his favourite food. Oysters may be the obvious choice, but food containing chilli or chocolate are also aphrodisiacs as, and here’s the science bit, they release feel-good chemicals called endorphins. If you’re not getting the right chemical reaction, try engaging his more primitive instincts by tempting him with visually suggestive food, such as papaya, asparagus, or hot dogs. If you’re not managing to create the right mood at the dinner table, suggest taking some chocolate, or perhaps honey, to the bedroom.... but beware the laundry bill.

Step 3: Sight

Nothing says “I love you” like making an effort with your appearance. A new outfit is usually enough to arouse more than his curiosity. Dress up, Dress down, Dress unusually. Take advantage of flattering, seductive lighting by

dimming the lights…. Or, if you don’t have a dimmer switch, just leave a lamp on. Try watching a film together... Even if it isn’t about romance, watching an action or scary movie has the potential to bring you closer together.

Step 4: Hearing

If music be the food of love, play it louder. Make his ears tingle with romantic music and the sound of your soft, sweet prose. Play him ‘your song’. Tell him what he wants to hear. Be attentive and interested in hearing about his day. Seduce him with compliments, and when you’ve said enough, know when it’s time to let your actions do the talking.

Step 5: Touch

STEP 4 - Take a time-out

Agree to resume the conversation when cooler heads can prevail. Promise the other person you will take their point of view into account when you return to the discussion.

If the other person continues to argue, maintain silence, listening but not engaging, so the argument is over before it starts. Don’t add fuel to the fire.

Get those nostrils flaring with smells such as jasmine and sandalwood, and waft them around yourself and your sanctuary. Don’t be obsessively hygienic as the odour of antiseptic wipes and cleaning fluid is unlikely to create the right mood. Showering twice a day, for instance, will wash away some of your pheromones, those natural odours that attract a man to a woman like a dog to a bone.

STEP 3 - Keep it private

Keep things private. Don’t bring in allies who support your viewpoint.

Now you’re getting somewhere… play your trump card and get those nerve endings tingling through the power of touch. Relax your partner by massaging him with your fingers, and then try using different parts of your body. Use light, feathery touches hard, aggressive touches or even spontaneous, surprising touches. Be creative and find the less obvious erogenous zones such as the inside of the arm, the back of the neck, even around the ear. Instigate a game such as a pillow fight ... and after all your efforts, lie back and let him indulge your senses.

STEP 5 - Leave the room

STEP 6 - Show humility

If you really want to end the argument before it starts, say you’re sorry whether you think you’re right or not and promise to being aware of the other person’s feelings. Defuse the argument and get on with your life.

HOW

TO’S

3 Ways to break free

from anger

How to Be the Centre of

Attention STEP 1 Wear something eye-catching

Wear one eye-catching detail. A funny or unusual T-shirt slogan, a dash of sequins, brightly coloured shoes, or a bold, offbeat accessory will make people notice you immediately.

STEP 2 Be confident

Carry yourself with confidence. Having good posture and outgoing body language will make you seem at ease with yourself and attract attention from others.

STEP 3 Lead, don’t follow

Act like a leader. Do your own thing and don’t follow others. You’ll automatically set yourself apart.

STEP 4 Display skills and knowledge

No matter how badly we all want to be happy, much of the time we feel a whirlpool-like force pulling us back into negative and destructive emotional patterns. No matter how desperately we want to break free and stop spinning in circles, we just can’t. The force is magnetic and much too strong. The power of the subconscious mind is formidable and will do everything it can to keep us in its grasp.

Show off your skills at parties or become an expert on various subjects. You’ll be able to talk at length and have people hanging on your every word. Tip – Work on public speaking if your current skills are lacking.

Releasing and letting go of those deep-seated beliefs that do not serve our highest good, allowing us to inch far enough away so we are able to move in a different direction, is the only path out of this endless cycle. Little by little, getting farther and farther out of the reach of that magnetic pull, so that it loses more and more of its strength, is the only way to free ourselves from this invisible prison. Following these three suggestions will help you swim out of that dangerous whirlpool of anger, resentment, disgust, and feelings of insufficiency (not enough money, not enough affection, not thin enough, not smart enough, not enough whatever in your life:

STEP 5 Focus on others

1) Reprogramme Your Subconscious Mind

Focus on the person you’re talking to and maintain eye contact. If you look like you are absorbed in an interesting conversation, others will want to know what you’re talking about. Having a loud, commanding voice is a plus.

STEP 6 Have fun

Have fun wherever you are. People will be naturally drawn to you.

Everyone has memories of past hurts and old wounds. These are attachments that hold you back and block your highest good. They have programmed into you a learned response, learned behavior from your upbringing or environment. That is not who you are. Holding on to past disappointments and hurts is robbing you of your power in the present and is also creating your future. In order to release these old energies and make room for new energies to come in, the subconscious mind has to be reprogrammed. This can be done by listening to subliminal suggestions and guided meditations in musical recordings, such as those from Brain Sync and Hemi-Sync. This positive reinforcement will eventually replace the negative tape in your head that plays itself again and again, keeping you living in the past and not moving forward. In addition, saying to yourself, “I am happy; I am healthy; I am free” and many others you can think of are affirmations that will eventually

change the negative labels you have placed on yourself. Start labeling yourself in a good way. It won’t change your thoughts overnight, but stick with it, and you WILL see yourself in a new, more positive light. Once you begin believing differently about yourself and your life, the world around you will shift in your favour. Do the work. Face the fact that change, freedom, and happiness come from within.

2) Be “Born Yesterday”

If you’re sick of the way it is in your life and don’t like the way you feel, rewrite “The Book of YOU” starting today! Create a new beginning with new possibilities. Each and every day is the first day of the rest of your life. Make each day count. You are not your past. Reinvent yourself. When the sun comes up in the morning, it is a new chance, a fresh start. Do something powerful with it!

3) Forgive

Forgiving another person, a situation, and especially yourself may be the hardest, most important and profound thing you ever do. It will also bring the greatest rewards. Internalising anger and resentment toward yourself or someone else is a heavy burden that can consume your life. You may be happy in every aspect except for that one person who has hurt you deeply. It’s that one thing you can’t seem to get over. You desperately want to forget it, but that undertow keeps pulling you back into the whirlpool. It’s something you can’t seem to escape no matter how hard you try. The bottom line is that you have to come to the point where you have suffered enough. Your children have suffered enough. Your spouse has suffered enough. When you are no longer vibrating “that”, you will see a remarkable shift in you and those around you. It will almost be immediate. Make a command decision that “enough is enough”. It’s exhausting to internalise anger, and it’s damaging to the cells of the body. That which you embrace has no power over you. You are empowered by forgiving and letting go. Be respectful of the choices other people have made in life. They may have been different from yours, but all experiences serve a higher purpose. End the cycle of anger in your life. It’s time to live in peace and joy and feel relief. A huge burden will be taken off your shoulders. It’s the ultimate act of self-love. It’s time.

Harrylal kissoon and cricket for the blind? Interview Stephen Doobal | Story Amelia C. Ramjarrie

Harrylal Kissoon is not a doctor, lawyer or engineer; he is a leader and a coach. He coaches a blind and visually impaired cricket team. Such a team consists of 11 players – four of them completely blind, with the other seven having varying degrees of visual impairment. All are tested before being selected. Once persons are chosen there are no limitations. They can perform in any position they think they can excel in. And there is no age discrimination. Kissoon says it has been frustrating at times, not coaching the players, but obtaining exposure for the club. More exposure would enable them to help those teammates who are not as fortunate as others, in terms of shelter, finance and nutrition. At present the club only has 45 members but with more exposure he believes membership would increase and many of them would get the chance to play the game and showcase their abilities. Kissoon holds practice for members every Saturday and he says how very appreciative he is how of all those who come to help in the process. His family has been supportive throughout, although it means he is away from their home every Saturday.

Harrylal Kissoon - coach for the blind and visually impaired cricket team

The Trinidad and Tobago Blind Cricket team are the defending T20 Caribbean champions and they are looking forward to a successful title defence in the 2013 tournament which takes place in Jamaica later this month. Their sponsor, bmobile, has renewed its partnership with the team.

Secretary of the association, Rajendra Ramnarine, said bmobile’s contribution will go a long way to ensure they get in the necessary practice to retain their title. “The current team consists of 35 persons, including the coach and staff, and they practice at the Edinburgh Gardens ground in Chaguanas on Saturdays. “Players come from all over the country. Some as far as Sangre Grande, Mayaro, Laventille and Point Fortin, so the association, with bmobile’s support, is making it easier for pla-yers to consistently attend training.” The idea that hard work doesn’t go unrewarded is truly evident in Harrylal’s life and we may even make bold to say one such reward provided him with one of his OMG moments. That’s when he received a national award, the Hummingbird Medal (Silver). In addition to receiving the award he was able to meet and discuss several persons he holds in high esteem including Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar. He tells the PM that the same compassion that inspired her to honour him with that medal could be used to implement measures to aid the blind and visually impaired so they can feel more a part of society.

Interview Stephen Doobal | Story Amelia C. Ramjarrie

Mr Renzo is a very versatile artiste. That’s clear when one listens to his music, an infectious, melodious and altogether unique mix that’s full of Latin and Trinidadian influences. Lawrence David Gonzalez Adams (most people affectionately call him Mr. Renzo) was born in Venezuela on October 3rd, 1983. When he was about two he moved to Trinidad with his family. By the time he was eight, when most children only had toys or games on their mind, Renzo dared to different by participating in school choir competitions. This continued when he attended secondary school. The year 2004 was a watershed time for him. It was the first time he was recognised for his work in the music industry. Renzo was discovered by a French producer, Christian Carbasa, and had a hit song in France with Fireball’s “What I Want”. He also went on to make his first successful record, “Muevete”, a blend of soca and Latin music, which gave him the exposure he needed to tour in places such as Grenada, St Maarten, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Miami, New York and Chicago. In 2011 he was noted for his collaboration with superstar Swappi on the successful

single “Extraordinary”, produced by 1st Klase. In 2013 he released his first album, “Out of this World”. At the age of thirty and with years of hard work under his belt, Renzo’s advice to the many upcoming artistes is, “Listen to the right people and have positive people around you”. His strategy is not to have fixed goals for the future, but to do the work and leave the future to unfold for itself because, as he says, some of the best plans can fail. He feels one must be open to all the opportunities life has to offer. Right now, he is living his dream and is most happy about choosing to do what he loves. He enjoys going to the clubs and listening to what is trending and also experiencing the indescribable joy of seeing the crowd enjoying his music. He dislikes people who cannot come out and say where they stand. They cannot simply say “no” to you and would just make you feel they are okay with a situation. He says, “I know saying ‘no’ is difficult at times but it will save both parties a lot of time, heart and headaches”. He is very much into social media and is always online. He is now experimenting with Vine, a new app that allows you to send short videos. He says it is very addictive. Renzo’s musical blend is a breath of fresh air. He has bridged the gap of Latin music and soca successfully as is evident in the song, “Bend Yuh Back”. It was definitely the right formula, as many have embraced it as one of their favourite tunes. His goal is taking his music not only local but international. He says his music is getting a lot of love in

Panama and he is bringing soca as a staple to the Latin market. If he succeeds, Mr Renzo would be the first to really bridge the gap between soca and the Latin market and we wish him all the best as he creates this new niche for soca to the world. He is working with KernRose Films who is directing the new music video for “Bend Yuh Back” featuring dancehall artiste Aidonia from Jamaica. Facebook being the demon it is, many people now have a chance to be nasty and bring down someone’s hard work with just a click of their mouse and some key strokes. How does Mr Renzo deal with such negative comments and situations. “I have to be firm in who I am and what I believe in and focus on my goals for myself and my career. If people feel they must criticise those efforts, then they are fulfilling their goals in their life. I have to know mine and not be concerned with theirs. More power to the haters. Don’t let them ever bring you down.” Mr Renzo OMG’s moment occurred a couple years ago at a performance in San Fernando. Ricki Jai had just performed and he went on next. He said this girl made it onto the stage and started wining in front of him. He could not see her but suddenly the crowd went quiet and he was trying to figure out what he did wrong. And then the DJ stopped the music, so he was very confused. Then he realised what happened. The dancing woman was so drunk she did not realise that her top had come off. Her behaviour really stunned everyone.

Sylvester Stallone

John Abraham

Sylvester Stallone says John Abraham

is better built than he ever was!

The Rambo actor says he is mighty impressed with John’s pumped up body and wants him to play the soldier in the Bollywood remake Ask anyone into fitness and body building who is their idol, eight times out of 10 you will get to hear the name, Sylvester Stallone. And when Sly himself, as he is fondly called, says that John Abraham has a better body, you better know that it’s not an easy compliment to earn! A few days ago, at a meeting in Beverly Hills, when Stallone was informed that Bollywood was planning to remake his iconic movie Rambo, he seemed quite pleased with the

prospect. Not only that, he also suggested that John Abraham would be perfect as the soldier, and even complimented John on his physique. “Actually, he’s built better than I ever was,” said Stallone. An ecstatic John said, “I’m overwhelmed and it’s a privilege to be encouraged by none other than Stallone, who has always been my hero. His Rocky 4 is the reason why I got into films.” So let’s see whether getting endorsed by Stallone encourages John to begin pumping iron once again to star as the angry soldier in the action packed remake!

Sonal

Chauhan on the cover of

Hello! magazine:

The babe slips into

hot swimwear!

The 3G gal pairs her sizzling swimsuit look with junk accessories and vibrant make-up for the style shoot of the entertainment glossy Sonal Chauhan is indulging in some hardcore swimming pool fashion for the shoot of Hello! The babe is posing and prancing in her uber stylish designer bathing costumes. We love the picture in which she is showing off her toned side profile, dipping one foot into the pool and creating ripples in the water – very aesthetically shot. And of course the flowing saree-like wrap attached to the waistline gives the costume a very feminine feel. She also opts for a high-street Shivan and Narresh two-piece with a crop-top and sexy bottoms that start the sizzle of her look…and the chunky green bangle finishes the picture nicely. The use of bright and mood-uplifting colours doesn’t end there. The blue eyeshadow catches our attention and the neat mascara suffused eyelashes make her look like an absolute water beauty. When Sonal is not splashing colours on herself, she is serene in a classic black one-piece. And the way she teams it up with a set of junky neckpieces is evidence enough that a lot can be done with even a simple monochrome creation. Just one nitpick – the pose in the black costume is a li’l clumsy, very amateurish, not very model-like, unfortunately! She could have done better…

Orlando Shaw, Nashville father with 22 children by 14 women, sued for unpaid child support A Tennessee man who has 22 children by 14 women is being sued in what might be one of Nashville's most expensive child support cases, according to CBS affiliate WTVF. In an interview outside court, Orlando Shaw said he loves all of his kids and considers himself a good father -- it's just that he can't afford to pay child support.

Orlando Shaw

Gawker noted that the 33-year-old appeared to have "lost count" of how many kids he has during an interview. On the whole, Shaw appeared to be both unapologetic about his circumstance and unprepared to tackle its steep financial challenges.

"I was young and ambitious, and I love women," Orlando Shaw told WTVF. "You can't knock no man for loving women." His past partners might beg to differ, as they have taken Shaw to court over "tens of thousands of dollars" in unpaid support. Shaw said his criminal record makes it difficult for him to find gainful employment. If he isn't able to pay, Shaw may end up in jail again, according to WTVF. Although it is a matter serious enough for the women to take Shaw to court, various media outlets have picked up Shaw's story from a humorous angle. Hypervocal observed that Shaw has fathered "two starting football teams’ worth of kids," ranging from infants to age 18. (If that age is accurate, it would mean Shaw had his first child when he was only 15 years old.)

J. Cole shares hurt feelings

on ‘Let Nas Down’ J. Cole had fans intrigued when he announced “Let Nas Down” as one of the track titles on Born Sinner. With a little under a week to go until the June 18 release, he is explaining the meaning behind his favourite song on the album. “That song is just special. It’s a venting song,” he told Fuse. He had been trying to make a song for radio at the time and was excited when he finally came up with “Work Out,” but he was surprised by the reaction from the public. “It was the worst response I’ve ever gotten on any song I’ve ever put out. It was a terrible response,” he said, adding, “When I made that song, it was a triumph.”

He got a call from producer No I.D., who was in the studio with Nas and relayed his conversation. “I was in the studio with Nas and we was talking about you and he was like, ‘Yo, why did he do that? Why did he put out that song? Don’t he know he’s the one? He ain’t gotta do that.’”

Upon hearing his reaction, Cole got defensive and said some crazy things. “On the inside I was really hurt because I really idolised Nas,” he said. But it all worked out in the end. “Eventually ‘Work Out’ became a monster record. It wouldn’t leave radio, it was a smash, and I’m grateful for that song. But at the time, it was hurtful. I really vented on that song.”

Julia Caples, real life

vampire, says drinking

blood makes her feel

healthier, stronger

As diets go, Julia Caples’ really sucks. Or at least she does. Caples, 45, is a real-life vampire who, drinks almost two litres of blood every month. She sucks the liquid from the backs of willing donors she meets at an occult and oddities store she runs near her home in Wilkes Barre, Penn. “When I feed off of a person and drink their blood I feel stronger and healthier,” she said, according to the Mirror. “I know scientifically there’s not a lot nutrition in blood, but maybe there’s some value we haven’t discovered yet.” Caples’ taste for blood began when she was 15, in the throes of her first kiss, and she got the urge to bite her boyfriend.

“It was my natural instinct and I liked the taste. I just got an urge and can’t really explain it. It’s never gone away,” she said, according to the Sun. “Needless to say though, he never kissed me again.” Caples didn’t really go batty for blood until she started dating her ex-husband, Donald, 49, who, like her, was into the goth lifestyle. However, when they had their son, Alexi, 11, he decided to go cold turkey on the plasma. “I gave up, so Julia didn’t have to. ... She’s an amazing mother, and her children come first. She’d never let it stop her mothering her kids,” Donald Caples said, according to MSNnow.com.

Chris Brown

Behind the video:

Curtis James Jackson AKA 50cent

50 Cent revealed

how his Car collection almost got him killed

In the hood the type of car you drive can mean a life and death situation and 50 Cent can attest to that. New York rapper 50 Cent appeared in the upcoming issue of Forbes Life where he opens up about his love for cars and how his choice of cars almost got him killed. According to the rap icon, way before he became a rap titan back in 1994 he bought a charcoal gray Toyota Land Cruiser. This is what Forbes Life wrote: A few months later, Jackson was driving his car through a rough neighborhood when a stranger pulled up next to him, flashed a menacing look and asked, “Yo, where Black at?” “Black” was the street name of a notorious-and violentgangster. Jackson quickly put it all together: Black had a similar-looking car. Jackson shrugged at his questioner and,

luckily for him, the man drove off into the night. The next day, Jackson returned to the dealership. “Why the f**k did you sell [Black] the same color truck as me?” he demanded. “I almost got killed last night.” He traded in the Land Cruiser for a white Mercedes-Benz 400 SEL with bulletproof windows and a 6.0 liter V-12 engine. But the second car turned out to be no better than the first. The Mercedes was conspicuous, an easy target for thieves. A pair of armed robbers ambushed him outside his grandmother’s house in Queens. Jackson barely escaped through a back alley and soon sold the vehicle. 50 Cent also revealed that he still has two bulletproof Chevrolet Suburbans.

He put on his director’s hat once again, calling the shots alongside his Riveting Entertainment team. “[I'm] bringing both worlds together and

trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I’m from,” he said. The song, which appears on his upcoming album X (July 16), was originally set to drop last week, but it has since been delayed. “Hope this new single inspires change and unity! Life is a gift.
