HOTTY

David Superville 26, Petit Valley

Three things you like about yourself and why?

I like my commitment to the gym and working on my body. I have done a lot of Carnival band launches and I enjoy modelling on stage, getting that crowd response. I have an easy-going personality and I enjoy being around positive, fun people. I think I can get along with anyone. I have a big heart. I like giving whenever I can, helping anyone that I can. Giving makes me feel good.

Your OMG moment?

Three weeks ago a friend told me my father was in a car accident not far from our home. I ran down the road to find my father lying in the street. He was hit by a car and he died on the spot. I lived with my father. It was just the two of us and now he was gone, suddenly, violently and I am still not sure of all the things I am feeling. That entire experience is my OMG moment. Stylist

People who do drugs in order to be cool deserve to suffer!

I have a friend who claims to have many medical problems. I’m not sure if she’s just making half of them up to gain attention. I’ve never seen any evidence of anything medically wrong with her. It makes me feel like a bad person. What if she really is telling the truth?

I slept with my ex last night and he has a girlfriend I screwed my ex last night. The guy left me for another girl, is actually still dating that other girl, and he cheated on her with me. I feel like dirt. I was drunk, obviously...we both were. This guy broke my heart two years ago and left me for her. And man, do I hate this girl...she’s obnoxious, an attention-whore, crass, says the stupidest things....but that’s not why I did this. I still feel like dirt. No matter how much I dislike another woman I would never, ever want to put them in this position... It’s just not fair. I’m miserable.

Bulimia and

my boyfriend When I move in with my boyfriend I’m afraid he’s going to find out how severely bulimic I am. He has a hunch. He knows I have a history of eating “tendencies”. I have cycled with anorexia and bulimia for 16 years. I’m not afraid he would leave me. It’s just something so personal and private to me. He wouldn’t think less of me either but he’ll always look at me funny if I go to the bathroom right after a meal. I’m 31 years old and sometimes I feel like a teenager.

Embarrassed that I want to be engaged I’ve been with my significant other for a year and a half, and we’re moving in together this August. We’ve definitely talked about marriage, but always as a “down the road” thing (he’s 26, I’m 21). I’m embarrassed to admit to anyone that I’ve been hoping he will actually ask me soon. I know it’s silly, and I don’t want to bring it up because it’s so silly.

I lost 120 lbs and gained it all back

In 2006 I lost 120 lbs (from 290 to 170) in about 6-8 months. I hate myself and what I’ve become. Ever since 2009 I’ve been on the same routine on and off and I’ve lost and gained 50-plus lbs repeatedly. The last six months it’s been uphill and no downhill. I’m afraid I’m killing myself. I miss being able to participate in sports and having clothes that look nice on me. Food is just such a large temptation for me.

The feeling of starting all over… I just recently came out of a relationship with a girl who I was starting to fall for but I realised that we were not right for each other. For her getting another partner is easy but for me it’s hard, the feeling of starting over again, looking for the right type, going on dates and getting to know that new person you have found. I hate the feeling of starting over but as Drake said I’m gonna start from the bottom and hopefully I will be back in a relationship soon.

I like to go after

girls with boyfriends For the past year or so I have been going after girls who have boyfriends. I have had sex with five girls with boyfriends so far. I like the challenge rather than going for single girls. I know it is wrong but frankly I don’t really care. I go for my acquaintances’ girlfriends such as people on the football team, my friends and girls that I meet at parties. I am yet to have any of the boyfriends figure out it. It seems like a sick addiction.

Old Flame

Are you curious about the one that got away? Find out what happened to that long-lost love, and maybe even rekindle your old school romance. WARNING – Stalking is a serious offence that is punishable by jail time.

STEP 1- Contact their friends or family

If you’ve still got connections to your flame’s friends or family, drop a respectful letter or make a polite phone call. You never know – they may just be willing to help you out.

STEP 2 - Optimise your Google search

Go to Google to start your online research. Did you know you can guarantee a word will be included in your search results if you put a plus sign in front of it? Review Google’s advanced search tips to optimise how you target your information.

STEP 3 - Troll the social sites

You’re probably already looking for your old flame on social- and businessnetworking sites like MySpace, Friendster, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and ZoomInfo. Search multiple sites at the same time by using an uber-search engine like wink.com.

Tips – Messaging someone through a socialnetworking site is much less stressful than making cold calls. STEP 4 - Try school-related spots

Do you know the name of your long lost love’s high school or college? Use a school-themed social-networking site like classmates.com or reunion.com.

STEP 5 - Search the ‘invisible web’

Most search engines won’t automatically look through databases and private sites, also known as the “invisible” or “deep” web. To access these deeper results, try searching with the keyword “database”, or using a site like “pipl.com”:http:// pipl.com, which automatically combs the invisible web.

STEP 6 - Delve into the personal information sites

If that special someone is proving to be untraceable, try “zabasearch.com”:http:// zabasearch.com, an unbelievably thorough people finder that accesses listings for current and former addresses and phone numbers.

STEP 7 - Use a Firefox add-on

Firefox offers a free add-on called “Who Is This Person?” Download the extension and highlight any name on a webpage. The program allows you to search that name on sites like Technorati, Yahoo, and Wikipedia.

STEP 8 - Hire a private detective

If you keep hitting dead ends, consider hiring a private detective. Get recommendations, and make sure the PI is licensed, bonded, insured, experienced and discreet. Also, be prepared to fork over a wad of cash.

STEP 9 - Make contact

You’ve finally got the contact info! Now what? Writing an email or note gives you the time to plan out what you’d like to say, and has much less potential for disaster than an out-of-the-blue phone call.

How to Deal If Your Partner’s Ex Is Still in the Picture

Is three a crowd in your relationship? Here’s how to peacefully co-exist with your partner’s former better half. STEP 1 - Assess the situation

Ask yourself what it is about your partner’s ex that upsets you. Their attitude toward you? Continued closeness with your partner? Animosity toward your ex?

STEP 2 - Search your soul

Be honest about your role in the triangle. Could your own jealousy, insecurity or resentment be partly to blame?

Tip – Control jealousy by reminding yourself that your partner and their ex are no longer together for a reason. STEP 3 - Talk to your partner

Once you have a handle on the situation, find a quiet time to talk to your partner about your concerns. Give them a chance to express their feelings, too.

STEP 4 - Find ways to compromise

Be prepared to compromise. Avoid ultimatums and demands. Jealous or aggressive behaviour could drive your partner away.

STEP 5 - Mind your own business

Stay out of your partner’s conflicts with their ex – especially if children are involved. Respect boundaries concerning parenting.

STEP 6 - Cope with an amorous ex

If you suspect your partner’s ex is still carrying a torch for them, talk to your partner about it and decide on a course of action together.

STEP 7 - Keep your enemies close

Make an effort to befriend an ex who remains an important part of your partner’s life. It’s bound to strengthen your relationship and – who knows? – you may get a new pal out of it.

HOW

TO’S

Identifying Symptoms of Mental Illness in a Friend Mental illness doesn’t mean that your friend is “crazy,” but it does mean that they need treatment. Here’s how to spot the warning signs.

WARNING – Even if you see symptoms in your friend, only a medical professional can actually diagnose them. STEP 1 - Consider their mood

STEP 4 - Consider their behaviour

Observe if your friend experiences extreme mood swings without anything provoking them, or if they have persistent feelings of sadness over time. These can be signs of mood disorders, with bipolar disorder and depression being the most common.

Ask yourself if your friend has exhibited any erratic, unusual or inappropriate behaviour in work, school, or social relationships, seems disinhibited in front of others, or is anxious and afraid around others. These can be symptoms of a number of personality disorders.

Tip – Keep in mind that some symptoms can be temporary reactions to stress or grief – not signs of mental illness.

STEP 5 - Consider compulsions

STEP 2 - Consider their temperament

Observe their levels of anxiety. If they have a persistent inability to relax or sleep, lack concentration, are easily agitated, and have muscle tensions or a rapid heartbeat over a period of at least six months, those may be signs of an anxiety disorder.

STEP 3 - Observe their awareness levels

Ask yourself if your friend hears or sees things that are not real or experiences delusions. Psychotic disorders involve a distorted way of thinking and awareness.

Ask yourself if your friend has been performing compulsive, ritualistic behaviour or unnecessarily repetitive actions, like constant hand-washing or checking things repeatedly.

STEP 6 - Observe signs of self-injury

Check to see if your friend exhibits evidence of self-harm or self-inflicted wounds, like cutting or scratching. Also, notice if your friend has become extremely thin or has expressed excessive negative attitudes and emotions about weight or food. Eating disorders, like anorexia nervosa and bulimia are classified as mental illnesses.

STEP 7 - Consider substance abuse

Ask yourself if your friend has any indications of drug or alcohol abuse.

STEP 8 - Talk to them

If your friend has exhibited any of these symptoms continually or several months, it may indicate they have a mental illness. Talk them in a supportive way and suggest they see a qualified physician or counsellor for advice or help.

How to Increase Your

Exercise Motivation Making exercising enjoyable and fun will keep you motivated to get moving.

STEP 1 - Establish goals

Set goals for yourself and write them down. Keep your list in a place where you can review it every day.

STEP 2 - Put out workout clothes

Keep your exercise clothes in plain sight. Hang them where you will see them every day.

Tip – Lay them out next to your bed or keep them in your car or at work. STEP 3 - Make it routine

Make your exercise routine a habit. Include it in your daily schedule.

STEP 4 - Consider the consequences

Think of the negative

consequences of skipping a workout. Get angry at yourself and get back on track.

STEP 5 - Focus on positives

Think about the benefits of exercising, such as improving your health or fitting into your skinny jeans.

STEP 6 - Exercise with a friend

Work out with a friend or relative and track each other’s progress.

STEP 7 - Reward yourself

Give yourself a present when you accomplish your goals with a massage, a mini-vacation, or a new outfit.

SAN FERNANDO

The San Fernando Fashion Week Committee is hard at work preparing for its 8th edition on the theme, “The Art of Fashion & Design”, which kicks off on May 12 from 4.30 p.m., with a Mother’s Day pre- show at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) South. This sure to delight fashion lovers and the mothers of Trinidad and Tobago.

FASHION WEEK TRINIDAD 2013 Coming in June

The pre-show promises to whet the appetites of all those in attendance by giving them a sneak peek into what is to come for San Fernando Fashion Week 2013 – June 21-23. Fashion lovers and patrons will have the opportunity to experience fashion at its best as the organisers welcome a glittering group of talented make-up artistes, photographers, craftsmen and women and models as well as local and international designers from as far as Africa, the Netherlands, Barbados and Nevis, just to name a few places. Models have already been chosen and some of the designers gathered at the Lions Civic Centre in San Fernando on

Sunday, March 10 for their first glimpse of the models for this year’s event. As the designers went through the model selection process for their collections they were clearly ready and excited about San Fernando Fashion Week 2013. This year event promises to be a grand occasion as the committee of San Fernando Fashion Week Trinidad focuses on their theme – “The Art of Fashion & Design” –by incorporating different aspects of art, fashion and design. San Fernando Fashion Week is especially geared towards bringing to the forefront the works of new creative designers who may have never been given the opportunity to show in such an event,

in the hope that they will establish their business and create a greater market awareness of their brand. The committee aims to move the fashion sector forward by creating a strong networking body to build stronger ties and bonds within the sector and to promote Trinidad and Tobago internationally through trade and export. Young and upcoming designers, craftsmen, craftswomen and jewelry makers who are interested in showcasing their talents can contact the committee at 1-868722-6059, 335-4155 or email: sanfernandofashionweek2011@gmail. com for more information.

Dwayne Nottingham aka The Fresh Fizzle Dwayne Nottingham, aka The Fresh Fizzle, Mr Celeb himself. He got his “Fizzle” name because of his explosive, energetic personality, his love for the performing arts and his passion for fashion.

Dwayne Nottingham

As a child he was fascinated by the performing arts and was acting and even writing plays in school. A talented young man, Dwayne later formed a dance crew and took part in some local competitions with much success. When the dancers chose to move on, music became a strong point in Dwayne’s life. Being bold and eager to try new things, he joined a group who called themselves “Hollow Point Sounds” and established himself as their leading MC. But a passion burned inside him to get back to what he really loved – “theatre, lights, camera and action”.

After completing a few photography classes, television became a subject of interest for this St James resident. Dwayne can now direct all his positive energy into writing and producing local programmes to edify and entertain both the young and the not-so-young. With his positive energy along with some humour, Dwayne began hosting a variety of events and, with his deejay skills, he hit the party circuit. In 2012 Dwayne was offered the opportunity to host the fashion segment of the popular Carnival show Front Row, which he continued to host in 2013. Dwayne has been offered roles on upcoming shows and is eager for the future and its challenges and opportunities.

They were a pastime and hobby for our parents and grandparents. Now, with the biggest Hollywood blockbusters these days having their roots in comic books, it just proves the longevity of the medium. Local comics enthusiasts now have an opportunity to celebrate their fandom with the first Comicfest for 2013 on Saturday, March 23 at The Creative Arts Centre in San Fernando from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is hosted by the Comic Collectors of Trinidad and Tobago, a group comprised of collectors, dealers, fans and even local creators. The group has been around in one form or another for over a decade, hosting events to promote comics and sequential arts. Primarily youth-oriented, the Comicfest events offer a positive experience for all attendees, encouraging kids to read, draw and create, as well as to emulate the ideals of the heroes whose exploits they follow. For the Comicfest on March 23 thousands of comic books will be on sale from individual suppliers Rewind Comix, The Alternative Universe Comic Book Store and others. Also, representing the local comics fraternity will be Three Quarter Comics’ Chris Riley, creator of the long-running Terror of the Midnight Robber series,

as well as illustrator Shaun Riaz. Local NGO The Heroes Foundation will also have their publications available, including the latest offerings in the Heart of a Hero series, focusing on child abuse, and heroes of a nation, highlighting the life and times of World War II hero Justice Ulric Cross. In addition to the comic books, Anime and Manga fans will have their needs met with goods supplied by Akcess Power, the force behind Trivicon, and Darkside Cyber Cafe Ltd. For gamers, a video game tournament will be held at the venue, courtesy of Chrono Fantasy Entertainment. For the first time at Comicfest there will be a Cosplay competition with cash prizes on offer, courtesy of Ink Monsterz Tattoo, who will also be on hand for airbrush displays. Refreshments from Kerlene’s cakes will be available at the venue. It’s all happening at Comicfest on March 23 at the Creative Arts Centre, 97c Circular Road, San Fernando. Admission is free. Photography and interview | Stephen Doobal Team OMG was delighted when chutney artiste Nisha B decided to visit us to grace the cover of the OMG Magazine. It was our first time meeting her and we must say she was a delight to talk to and get to know. She was relaxed, open and filled with excitement about her career and life. Nisha is the sister of Ravi Bissambhar or Ravi B as we all know him, the lead male vocalist, music director, producer and arranger for the Caribbean fusion music band Karma. You can hear Nisha and Ravi B at nights from 10 p.m. to midnight on 90.5 FM. How are things after your hectic Carnival season? We got straight into work directly after Carnival. We went to Guyana to perform. After that I just had to take a little time off so I went to Universal Studios in Orlando which I have not been to in over ten years. On the Harry Potter ride I was screaming as if I was two years old. It was just out of this world, really great. Now that I am back we leave tomorrow, Ravi and I, for a private birthday party performance and then back home and off to Canada on Good Friday, Miami on Easter Saturday and back home on Sunday for the 90.5FM Kite Flying competition which we always perform at every year. Tell us about your journey in the music business? As Nisha B, it is over 15 years now I’ve been in this business, but my career really took off when I joined Karma about 11 years ago. When I join Karma it was more pace, more of a stepping up, so it was much more work, but I must say I enjoy it very much, I would rather be doing this than anything else! You sound really busy. Do you have free time? Yes! I do get free time. When I have spare time, I’m a home person. If I have a free day, I want to stay home, I want somebody to cook for me (laugh). I will watch a movie, play with my niece and nephew. I love being with

them because when I am not home I miss them so bad. Do you have a big family? It’s just 12 of us! It’s one boy, two girls, mummy, Anil, Ravi, grandparents, hmm… that’s not 12, well it used to be 12. Some are just not with us anymore, but I grew up in a big family. Your favourite time is? Family time, Nisha time, sleeping, watching TV, reading a book. I love reading. Surfing the net. When I surf the net it is so wired, I am always looking for historical things, stuff about archeology, things like that. I am very interested in history, maybe in my last life I was some Egyptian queen or something. Can you cook? I enjoy cooking a lot, but I can’t do a good stew or curry, I can however do a good pasta or baked food something. Can you cook roti? I can buy it. I know where to go to get a good roti, but that is the one thing I would really love to learn. Mummy would try to teach me and I would not pay attention, because I just waiting for her roti to finish, but it is something I have to learn to do properly. So are you in a relationship? Oh yes, there is somebody in my life. I think every girl needs somebody who would ground them and I have been lucky enough to have someone for the past 11 years in my life. It makes me feel that I have accomplished something. He does not make me worry or stress out about relationship issues. He makes me comfortable. So that is one thing I do not have an issue with, knock wood. “Knock on wood?” Are you superstitious? I am very superstitious. For one thing I don’t ever walk into my home without walking in backwards – the old wives’ tale about leaving negativity outside, not bringing it into the home. If I am passing by an accident and somebody dies, I make the sign of the cross. I don’t walk under ladders. If you see a spider, run away. If I see a spider

anytime I would run away (laugh). I am very scared of spiders. I am not afraid of Black Fridays or the number 13 or anything like that. These are just things I heard from my grandmother and the older heads and just things I grew up with so they just remained with me. Ah jus making sure no jumbie follow meh home (laugh). Things that people who know you may not know about you? I am very religious. Sometimes I can sit all day and pray. I have put my trust and strength in God, all of it. Ravi and I would always pray before we go on stage. When I get up I pray, when I leave home, before I eat. It’s not that I am praying because I want to be a pundit, or show society that I am a good person. It is just that I feel comfortable giving thanks to God and being open about it. The most important part about it is that I am grateful for all that God has blessed me and my family with. Your relationship with Ravi. How is that, working with your younger brother? We have the most perfect brother-sister relationship. Very few arguments. If we argue it’s because of the band on a specific issue. At times he would want to get my view and then make his own decision and we come to an understanding about his decision. I would take a lot of direction from Ravi. He is younger than me and I know a lot of people who would not be comfortable with that, but I listen to Ravi and he does the same for me. It’s a mutual respect. Your OMG moment? We were doing this gig in South and the location was not ideal. We had no back stage. It was raining and the stage was wet when I went on I asked someone to come on stage and “bus ah wine”. So this guy came up and started wining and pushed me down and I fell onto the speaker that was on stage and hit my shin bone on the edge of the speaker. It was excruciatingly painful. My foot was black and blue. I wanted to cry and run off stage with pain but I withstood the pain and finished the gig. I still have that mark on my foot up to today.

Kristin Julien 17, San Fernando

Kristin says when she was very young – in kindergarten actually – her parents took her to a swim class and from that first day in the pool, she discovered her passion for swimming and has been swimming ever since. One of her biggest achievements thus far in her career is placing seventh at the Commonwealth Youth Games which took place in the Isle of Man in 2011. This year Kristin has qualified to participate at the XXVIII Carifta Swimming Championships in Jamaica from March 30 to April 3. She is training hard because she has also made the national team that will be competing in the Fourth FINA World Junior Swimming Championships 2013 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) from August 26-31. Plus she will be competing at the CCCAN Swimming Championships being held in San Jose, Costa Rica from June 29 to July 5. That’s a very busy schedule for a very focused and determined young lady, who says she just loves being in the water and having the opportunity to compete with swimmers from around the world and give a very good account for herself in the games. She also likes meeting people from around the world. She says swimmers are generally friendly people and although they compete against each other they do enjoy each other’s company. Kristin spends her time either in the pool or with her the books. She says it is very difficult keeping up with her school work and training but she tries her best to maintain a balance. She also likes to dance and was part of a dance group but swimming is taking up all her time right now. When asked what are some of the things she does not enjoy, Kristen says running, gym work and land training. She says swimmers are not good land creatures – they just love being in water. Kristin says her friends would say she is easy to talk to and generally fun to be around. Her OMG moment happened at Carifta 2010, when she won the first gold medal for Trinidad and Tobago in a decade. She started off with the third best times in the final. Just knowing that if she won that race she would be the first person in ten years to do that motivated her even more, so she dove in and gave it all she had and won gold for Trinidad and Tobago.

Sherlyn Chopra stayed naked for 22 hours! The raunchy actor was in her birthday suit for almost a whole day while shooting for the erotic movie Kamasutra 3D. Until now, the Playboy cover girl Sherlyn Chopra used to be in her birthday suit only for a brief moment, tweeting out a mix of hot and sleazy pictures online for her fans and fanning their fancies! But now it seems she has broken a record of sorts for remaining naked. Only recently, while filming parts of the erotic fantasy movie Kamasutra 3D, she was told to remain in her birthday suit for almost 22 hours. Sherlyn was actually sporting body paint all over, and if the hot babe were to cover herself up, the paint would smudge and it would have had to be done all over again. Now with Sherlyn being super professional when it comes to matters of stripping, she readily agreed to remain nude for the entire 22 hours! And what gives her hope and strength? No, it’s not maa ka pyaar. Turns out it was cigarettes that the raunchy babe was counting on to take her mind off her nudity. Since the film set was a no-smoking zone and Sherlyn was going all cold-turkey over cigarettes, the set was immediately turned into a smoking zone, only for Sherlyn!

Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan or Hrithik Roshan:

Who will star in Steven Spielberg’s movie? While that’s the dilemma regarding the male leads, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma are being considered for the role of the heroine. So what’s really going on in the Hollywood filmmaker’s mind? A lot is being said about Steven Spielberg’s visit to India. And while most of it was revealed during his conversation with Amitabh Bachchan recently, there were juicy bits that lay outside the periphery of the much talked about ‘chat’. While in conversation with the Big B, Spielberg revealed that his favourite childhood pastime was crashing toy trains and filming it through his father’s Super 8 mm cameras. Slowly, the topic veered towards the making of his movies – Saving Private Ryan, Close Encounters, Moonraker, American Beauty, E.T., Schindler’s List and Jaws. Spielberg talked about the challenges he faced while filming them. According to him, Jaws was the most difficult movie. “Jaws was the hardest. The adverse shoot went on for nine months and that almost stopped me from being a filmmaker. But then it turned out to be this big hit – there was this big white turd floating around the water and people in the audience were loving it, throwing popcorn in the air,” he said during the conversation. But apart from this, B-town is abuzz with news that Spielberg is planning a crossover movie, which will star Bollywood

as well as Hollywood actors. “We have finalised a script for a movie that DreamWorks and our partners Reliance Entertainment plan to make together,” he said in an interview. What’s more, the B-town actors being considered for this one are Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya

Aamir Khan

Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma. From the H-town, names like Denzel Washington, Bradley Cooper and Richard Gere are being suggested. But nothing’s been finalised yet. But hey, all this dope is enough to get us excited. Ain’t it, readers?

Commando promo:

Do not try these stunts at home! The promo of this Vidyut Jamwal feature will be aired with a disclaimer, as instructed by the censors board. Read on to know why… In the upcoming movie Commando, Vidyut Jamwal plays the role of a daring secret agent. And looks like he has taken the “daring” part of the character too seriously. We

Vidyut Jamwal

say this because our feathered friends chirp that Vidyut has performed certain dangerous stunts sans the safety harness. Whoa! “Unlike other action films of actors such as Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, Vidyut has done some dangerous sequences without the help of harnesses or cables. That’s why the censors board wants the makers to state that these stunts have been done by experts and shouldn’t be tried without supervision,” a

birdie chirped. “Commando has some overthe-top stunts, which must not be tried by anyone who is not a professional. We’ve been asked to put a disclaimer, and we have agreed to it,” producer Vipul Shah said. So take a look at this trailer from Commando and tell us: Do you think Vidyut Jamwal’s stunts look dangerous?

‘World’s Strongest Vagina’:

Tatyana Kozhevnikova Shows Off Vagina Weightlifting (NSFW, VIDEO) Her weightlifting technique puts certain Olympic events to shame. Tatyana Kozhevnikova unofficially owns the World’s Strongest Vagina by virtue of her record for vagina weightlifting, according to the Sun. She recently showed off her prowess on “The Body Shocking Show” in England. Watch a clip from the show (below), as she inserts a wooden egg into her vagina and attaches the weight to the egg. She contracts her muscles around the egg and lifts the poundage. The 40-something Russian mom says in the video it has taken her 20 years to become so powerful in her nether region.

She reportedly set the vagina weightlifting record by hoisting 31 pounds in 2009. Afterward she was quoted as saying, “It’s enough to exercise your vagina five minutes a day, ladies, and in just one week you’ll be able to give yourself and your man unforgettable pleasure in bed.” While we marvel at her might and her concern for your sex life, we feel compelled to dispel one inaccuracy floating around: She isn’t the Guinness World Record holder. There is no Guinness category for vagina weightlifting, a Guinness spokeswoman confirmed to The Huffington Post. We’re impressed anyway. http://www.intimfitness.com/

40 GLOCC Game Owes Me $4.5 MIL For Beating My Ass

Tory Gassway aka 40 glocc

Rapper 40 Glocc is gunning for $4.5 MILLION ... and his target is The Game. TMZ broke the story ... Glocc sued Game over a street fight between the two rappers, which went down in July outside a Hollywood Hills mansion. Game subsequently posted footage of the brawl on YouTube, showing him whaling on Glocc.

At the time Glocc filed the suit, he didn’t specify how much he wanted, but now we know. Glocc just filed legal docs demanding a cool $4.54 million.

Here’s the breakdown:

-- $500,000 in pain and suffering -- $500,000 in emotional distress -- $750,000 in lost earnings -- $2 million for punitive damages -- $25,000 in medical expenses -- Various other stuff

Game’s lucky he didn’t go after Mark Cuban.

Welcome to the Future: 75% of Man’s Skull Replaced by 3D-Printed Implant If you needed any further indication that we are living in an age of great technological advancement, now you have it. 3D printing is one of those things that’s currently being explored that has huge ramifications for the future of, well, everything. Case in point, it’s been revealed that 75% of an unnamed United States man’s skull was replaced with a 3D-printed replica in a surgical procedure earlier this week. Yeah. Let that sink in a bit. In order to replace the skull, the man’s head was first scanned digitally to provide an accurate plan. Then the replica — which likely replaced 75% of the skull’s mass, not surface area — was made out of

polyetherketoneketone, but they added special details to the surface of it in order to encourage cell and bone growth. Further details on the procedure are currently unclear, but the major bits are still impressive. This news comes after manufacturer Oxford Performance Materials got FDA approval to start using the process last month. It’s worth noting that the above image is just an example of the kind of implant used, not the specific one that now resides within the mysterious patient. Because these kind of implants can be printed, with no real tooling, the possible medical applications are near limitless. Assuming this actually pans out as an efficient method, it could help the thousands of people that need bits and pieces of themselves replaced for one reason or another. Also, I’m calling it now, we’re five years out from cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Deborah Persaud of Johns Hopkins' Children's Center in Baltimore

HIV Baby ‘Cure’ Has Ties To Elizabeth Glaser

Pediatric AIDS Foundation In Los Angeles LOS ANGELES -- When doctors announced that a Mississippi toddler born with HIV was functionally cured, the news sent shockwaves around the globe. But the medical marvel hit close to home for a few residents in Los Angeles -- friends and associates of the late AIDS activist Elizabeth Glaser. Glaser lost her battle with AIDS 19 years ago, but the work she began to eradicate pediatric AIDS worldwide can still be felt through the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, a nonprofit research organization she founded after her daughter succumbed to AIDS in 1988. In fact, her legacy is imprinted on the so-called Mississippi miracle.

award recipient in 1997.

Two doctors involved in the Mississippi toddler’s case are recipients of the Elizabeth Glaser Scientist Awards, generous five-year grants of $700,000 that Glaser’s foundation gave to leaders in the field of pediatric AIDS research from 1996 to 2006. Dr. Deborah Persaud of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center received the Elizabeth Glaser Scientist Award in 2005. She led the investigation to determine that the toddler’s HIV virus was in remission. She conducted the investigation with Dr. Katherine Luzuriaga of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, who was an

But because of her decades of work with Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Zeegen is cautious about forecasting what the toddler’s cure may mean for pediatric AIDS worldwide. “What happened in Mississippi is an impetus to get us all charged up again about being able to really and truly eradicate HIV from children,” Zeegen said. “There’s a ton of work that has to happen, and we all know that.”

The connection to the Mississippi medical case makes Susie Zeegen, one of Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s cofounders, immensely proud. “We were investing in people, and the people that got this award were above and beyond in their zeal and their promise to be able to come up with new and innovative approaches to the probems that children face,” said Zeegen in an interview with The Huffington Post on Tuesday. “I’m sure [Glaser] would be beyond proud and happy as am I.” Zeegen is still awestruck at the apparent “cure.” Since news about the toddler broke on Sunday, she has been busy collecting every single article written about the baby. She could only think of one word to describe her reaction: “Wow.” “My overall reaction is of great joy and great optimism,” Zeegen said. And in the global fight to eradicate pediatric AIDS, a little bit of optimism couldn’t hurt. Currently, an estimated 600,000 babies are born each year with HIVworldwide.

Chip Lyons, president and CEO of the

Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, echoed Zeegen’s enthusiasm and caution. “The case needs to be very carefully examined,” said Lyons. The foundation is focusing on cutting rates of perinatal HIV infection around the globe, especially in India and countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Lyons, based in Washington, couldn’t help but give part of the credit for this global movement to Los Angeles, Glaser’s home. “Philanthropists, donors, friends, and particularly the LA community -- there was a remarkable rallying around their friend, who was still fighting for herself, fighting for her son, and fighting to get kids on the agenda,” said Lyons. Glaser founded the organization in 1988 after the death of her 7-year-old daughter, Ariel. When Glaser gave birth to Ariel in 1981, she unknowingly contracted HIV from a blood transfusion and then passed on the disease to Ariel through breastfeeding. Her son, Jake, also subsequently contracted HIV in utero. It wasn’t until Ariel started suffering unexplained symptoms that doctors determined all three of them had HIV. After Ariel died, Glaser was determined to save her son from the same fate. Together with the help of friends Zeegen and Susan Delaurentis, Glaser mined her Hollywood industry contacts (her husband was actor/director Paul Michael Glaser) to raise money and awareness about pediatric AIDS during a time that researchers weren’t studying HIV-affected

families or pediatric formulations of drug treatments. Now Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation has offices in 15 countries and is working on a global scale to bring down the rates of perinatal HIV transmission.

Guy Gets Netflix Tattoo,

Netflix Gives Him

A Free Year Of Service We understand people who love Netflix. Who needs a dumb cable bill anyways? But some people love their streaming-video service more than others.

DEMI MOORE:

You Were a Crappy Husband And Now You’ll Pay Demi Moore may be rich and famous, but she’s no different from millions of scorned wives seeking revenge -- and that’s why she wants spousal support from Ashton Kutcher ... despite the fact that she’s richer than him. There is no way a judge would ever give Demi spousal support. Short story ... she doesn’t need it and she won’t get it. A source close to Demi tells us ... she was “really hurt” by Ashton, whom the source called a “bad husband.” The source would not use the word revenge, but the sentiment was clearly there. That said ... multiple sources connected with the former couple tell us ... Demi and Ashton are in the midst of negotiating

a financial settlement, and her lawyer knows the more Demi asks for, the better she’ll do in the end. We’re told they’re actually pretty close to striking a deal -- and it WON’T involve spousal support.

Twitter user @TheRealMyron showed his love by getting a tattoo in honor of the website. When he tweeted the tattoo at Netflix, the company’s account responded by giving him a free year of the service.

That’s really nice and all, but we’re pretty sure this guy would have paid for another year of Netflix himself. He seems pretty dedicated. There’s clearly no need to convince him to support your company. After that one guy got paid $15,000 to get the Romney logo tattooed on his face, people might think they’ll get rewarded for getting dumb things permanently stamped on their bodies. Let’s just hope this doesn’t become a trend. http://live.huffingtonpost.com/r/segment/ netflix-tattoo-gets-man-free-netflix-for-ayear/5139f62d2b8c2a7ca1000226

How To Get The New Facebook:

Your ‘Personalized Newspaper’ Awaits At a small news conference on Wednesday, Mark Zuckerberg introduced a fairly dramatic redesign of the Facebook newsfeed, emphasizing larger photos and access to several different feeds based on your friends and subscriptions. The Newsfeed’s new design will roll out starting today, and will eventually be the default homescreen for every

Facebook user. If you want to be among the first to use it, however, you can volunteer yourself on this webpage; just scroll to the bottom and click on the big button that says “Join Waiting List.” There’s no real word on the timing of the rollout -- just that it will be gradual at first, to make sure there are no bugs or major errors. Over the coming weeks and months, you can expect everyone to have their own “personalized newspaper,” though presumably those on the waiting list will gain an early glimpse. http://www.huffingtonpost. com/2013/03/07/facebook-news-feedpersonalized_n_2830009.html?utm_hp_ ref=technology

World Naked Bike

Ride 2013 Takes

Over San Francisco

Nudity ban? What nudity ban? Despite the new law prohibiting hanging out in the buff, hundreds of San Franciscans decided to bare it all Saturday, combining three of the city’s favorite pastimes: biking, protesting and being naked. The World Naked Bike Ride, an international demonstration against fossil fuel dependence, snaked through San Francisco this weekend, drawing activists of all shapes and sizes who toted signs declaring “Less gas, more ass” and “put the fun between your legs.” A similar event took place in Sydney, Australia. Cognizant of recent legislation, organizers cautioned participants to cover up their most private of parts. “To be legal, you just need to barely cover your genitals and rectum. Going naked outside the main group will definitely get you cited,” the website warned. “This will be a test to see how far we can push the limits.”

(NSFW PHOTOS)

Still, the tone remained lighthearted. “Now more than ever, we need you to call attention to environmental activism, body freedom, bicycling as an alternative to cars and a generally greener way of living,” the website continued. “If nothing else, it’s a fun, light-hearted, wacky way to use your colorful, vulnerable body to advocate.”

JUSTIN BIEBER Cancels Concert

Because of

Empty Seats Justin Bieber cancelled his Portugal concert Tuesday -- not because he’s sick, not because he’s melting down -- because ticket sales were “soft” and it felt like the right thing to do. Just tell that to the fans who are getting stood up. Sources connected to Justin have confirmed ... it was a “business decision” that triggered the cancellation. Our sources say ticket sales were still “good ... more than 60%” ... just not good enough. It’s pretty common for lesser artists to bail when sales are bad, but unusual for singers on Justin’s level.
