It is poor in spirit, it mourns, it is meek, it hungers and thirsts for righteousness, it is merciful, clean, peaceful and ready to be persecuted and insulted. Holy Lives
TAON 2009 kan nawàran ako nin trabaho. Sabi kan head office mi sa US, kaipuhan magbawas nin mga empleyado an kumpanya huli sa duplications. ST. Lain pa kaiyan, pinatalubo man sako an pagtubod. after nina’s overwhelming damages
SJTP’s petition: widen road, cut trees along h’way DURING THE Parish Pastoral Council meeting on January 8, SJTP pastor Fr. Wilmer Joseph S. Tria proposed to file a petition to LGU regarding road widening and cutting of trees along national roads. This was prompted by the overwhelming damages caused by countless fallen trees along the national highway in the aftermath of Supertyphoon Nina. Fr. Tria’s proposal was unanimously approved. Last wednesday, January 25, Fr. Tria met the Punong Barangays Leticia Punzalan, of Concepcion Grande, and Regina Alcantara, of Del Rosario. Both pledged their support by securing a resolution. On Friday, January 27, Fr. Tria discussed the petition to Naga City Mayor John G. Bongat, who happens to be an SJTP parishioner, and the latter was delighted to get the support of the Parish. Mayor Bongat provided Fr. Tria a copy of two resolutions from Naga LGU: first, for the widening of national roads, and second, on the cutting of trees. Here is the text of SJTP’s petition: “we, as residents of Naga City and in the exercise of our solemn duty to promote the welfare of our respective Barangays and Parishes, hereby urge the City Government of Naga to enforce courses of action for the immediate rehabilitation of our Communities, in the aftermath of typhoon Nina. Further, we recommend that local legislation be formulated, approved and implemented to mitigate the risk in case of natural disasters. ST. TERESA’S COMMUNITY u On Sunday, January 22, parishioners from Sitio California in Concepcion Grande received an image of St. Teresa of Kolkata from Fr. Wilmer. The image will be enshrined at their Sitio Chapel.
